This van is great! Very easy to drive with minimal blind spots that are common in a van. It travels up and down the Pa. Turnpike with a breeze and little crosswind problems.

I like horse power but I don't want to give up reliability. My 2012 9.0 RS Scion xB fits the bill. ( By the way they only come in Hot Lava color ) Bought it two years ago, and since then it's never failed to start & run. I always keep it well maintained, and I've had three dealerships offer to buy it from me, ( so they can sell it for thousands more) it has 135k miles which is just breaking a Toyota/Scion in. My only complaint is: I wish Toyota put in the 180hp 2.5 Camry motor in it - it has the 2.4 158hp motor stock. I can chirp the tires off the line, it's so quick down low, but mid range and up high its average. Lord Willing I plan on keeping it. Next car will be as reliable and a little faster. Hard to find anything better than the xB in that regard..

Love this car. It’s drives well. I have owned for two years and it’s very reliable and affordable to maintain. It’s always fun to drive. Great cargo room. Great stereo and audio features. Great gas mileage. I really really love it. Best car ever. I have had outback’s, Prius, accords, civics, and carollos and this car is the best. So happy with it. I am waiting for a new fresher model to come out but not in a rush.

After getting the run around from multiple dealerships in LA/OC/IE I visited Auto Republic. Yes, I had my guard up after all the financing and heavy down payments other dealerships we're asking for before even giving me attention. The showroom was clean and the lot had so many dream cars. I found the perfect car for my family and had the assistance from the manager that was top notch. I'm writing this review since the single star reviews show the lack of reading details about add on features. Don't get upset with a dealership for having tracking on a car (saves on insurance) along with other key options that are great for your next car. I've referred family and friends, all had exceptional purchasing experiences and I'll get my next vehicle here as well.

I bought a used 2012 XC70 AWD with 65,000 miles after we were rear-ended in my Volvo 940. Before that one I had a 740 wagon in which I drove almost half a million trouble-free miles. I am not a fan of FWD (that's what this really is with traction control) but my mechanic told me the 3.2 engine was decent. After a test drive, I was really impressed and the turning radius wasn't bad so I bought it. I've now driven about 15,000 miles in it in varying conditions and I am hugely impressed. Despite its having 6 cylinders, the gas mileage is slightly better than my 940 and the difference in driving experience is like night and day. Although it doesn't corner quite as well as my earlier RWD models, the ride is much smoother and infinitely more comfortable. The seats are superb and the engine is so quiet, it almost feels like an electric vehicle. I love the heft of the chassis and the slightly higher ride than a regular car. The folks who have the turbo model speak highly of the performance, but the way I drive, the non-turbo one has plenty of power for my needs. The biggest pity is Volvo doesn't make cars like this any more. The newer ones look fancy but their 4 cylinder turbo motors just can't compare with a six. I expect repair costs to be somewhat high because of the way some components are situated under the hood, being difficult to get to, but until there's a problem I'm not going to worry about it. I love the 6-speed transmission and frankly, there's nothing about the car I don't like. Definitely better than an SUV in every way and more capable off-road than many 4WD vehicles. And it's classy looking. When you open and close the doors you know this is a quality vehicle with excellent engineering and it has safety features second to none.

The Bolt is the perfect car for commuting and errands around town, particularly if you can charge at home. It is small on the outside but spacious on the inside (at least in the front seats). It is surprisingly peppy - you can easily get the tires to chirp in accelerating. On the downside, not all Bolts have DC fast charging, which would make it impractical for road trips and if you don't have home charging. Check charge port for the orange cap - that means it has DC charging. The Bolts with DC charging only charge at 55 kw, slower than most. Road trips are possible, but it will take an hour to charge every 250 miles. Overall, the Bolt is fun to drive, practical, and great value for money.

Have loved this car! Only negative has been with towing my boat. Amy trailer causes the back to ride too low and thus lifts the front tires up so there's not enough traction to pull boat out at the ramp.

Each year, we’re saving $6,000–$7,000 combined on fuel and maintenance compared to when we drove gasoline cars. We get about 250-300 miles of range depending on heat and AC use. We bought them used around $20k each, had batteries replaced in 2020 so 100,000 mile warranty, can't beat it! Charging at Home Is Simple, either use 110v and charge overnight or upgrade 220v dryer plug We picked up a Level 2 home charger for about $150 on Amazon. Installing and running it is as simple as hooking up clothes dryer. The charger just uses a standard 240V outlet, and the energy demand is nothing unusual for a typical household. Pulls same amount of power as microwave or toaster oven. Real Cost to Charge Let’s run the math: Electric rate: $0.10 per kWh Efficiency: ~4.5 miles per kWh Monthly driving: 2,000 miles each car That works out to: 2,000 miles at 4.5miles/kW at 10cents/kW= $44/month So for just $44 a month, each Bolt drives 2,000 miles. Overall the car is good for commuting. The MPG is about 29-38 mpg averages. Takes 87-91 gas. The power is quick on start up but struggles at the higher speeds. MPG goes down of low 30s at faster freeway speeds. The car makes a weird mechanical noise at start up sounds like a vent or lever opening / closing and also another weird noise when the rear view camera opens and closes when put in reverse. I dash lights for air bag are always on in yellow and emergency lights in red. I cover with black tape case at night time these are annoying. The Day time light are always on which are annoying. It does cause a slight drain on battery and alternator. If you put your parking back on when stop the lights go off. Its a rough ride even with new tires. Its a low to ground so hard to get in and out of if your tall.

I bought this car new in 2014 and I loved it. I still love it. It's got 160k and my 16yo is now driving it and he loves it, everyone knows it's him. I got a new RAV4 2022. This scion xb has the same engine as my 2005 Camry. Love it.

I have owned a Kia Soul Brownstone Edition for 6 years now. It hasn't given us any issues aside from a brake ABS failure in warranty. However, since Kia skimped out on immobilizers, I wouldn't get one without push button start, which is most of them, unfortunately. While they extended the warranty on the engine, they have plenty of fundamental issues with it, and also, my Kia after 4 years, has noises in front and back suspension sway bars, and the strut tower bearings make noise. While these don't need to be fixed, they make the car sound like crap. I just drove a 2019 Kona with the same amount of miles, and the suspension on that was just fine. Might be due to the larger wheels and smaller profile tires, I don't know. If Kia ever sells the EV soul in the US, I'd get that. So far, they've been good.

So my wife picked it out Nov 2014. I was a little apprehensive, but the price was right. It had 9miles and we now have 50,056. The only issue was the front air dam between the wheels. Pull to close to the parking block and it will tear off when you back out. Never bothered to replace it. With gas on the rise our timming was really good. I'd get another V but it was discontinued. Versatile is a perfect description for it. Happy shopping 😁 It really handy size wise and mileage is super.

From Peyman to his employees everyone was extremely courteous and helpful. They were prompt to answer any questions I had about the car prior to coming in. They provided me with a Carfax and Autocheck report upon arriving and gave me ample time to check the car out and even allowed me to take it out for a lengthy test drive. The staff was fully transparent about anything they knew about the car and also fully encouraged me to have it checked out by a mechanic or dealership of my choice if I wanted to, of course, at my cost. If there were any issues, Peyman and his team said they would work on getting it sorted out, or reimburse the cost prior to finalizing the deal. You have to remember, this is a used car dealership, not everything is going to be perfect, it isn't a new car, but they will strive to make sure they get you into a solid, reliable car. Not even a large franchise dealer can guarantee something won't go wrong a few weeks down the road, that is why Peyman stands by his cars and offers a warranty if things do happen or allow you to get it fully inspected prior to purchasing. The entire team here was not pushy nor did they use any of your typical sales pitch when I was viewing the car. They were very hands off from the moment I pulled into the parking lot and the moment I left with the car. They gave you just the right amount of attention without being overbearing and pushy on the sale, whether you buy a car or not, they will treat you the same way they'd want to be treated. I observed this with different customers they interacted with. They have a very good selection of cars, and if they don't have what you're looking for, they can help source it for you and have it fully checked out prior to you purchasing it. At the end of the day, use your due diligence when buying a used car, whether it's from a smaller dealership like this one or a large franchise one. Not every car will be perfect, but it is the actions and integrity of the dealership that will set it apart. Researched to find a car that was fun to drive and good on gas. Decided on a 2017 MINI which I purchased through Carvana online. My used car arrived with just over 27,000 miles and a few months remaining on the original warranty. The MINI is fun to drive, looks good, handles well, and I enjoy driving it on my 80-mile round trip commute daily. Good on gas, it's nice to be able to switch between a Sport and Eco mode (not sure if this is more of a gimmic or not but while driving in Eco mode I seem to "Save" about 8 miles/day. I'm happy with my purchase and would purchase again.
