2016 Volvo XC70 review
On my third XC70 - 2016 T5 AWD purchased with 165K mi. Previous ones were 2010 3.2 and a 2007 (the BEST wagon they ever made). Overall it has been a pretty reliable vehicle but I watch the oil consumption like a hawk due to the piston ring problem. Consistently get 26+ mpg on highways. With 185K on it so far it's been pretty good. Expect to get 200K plus out of it.

This car was good enough, for me. I had to replace the exhaust manifold at 120k, roof drains at 125k, and 2 seized calipers around 133k. Had it regularly checked at the dealer, but it ended up mechanically failing me, leaving me stranded more than once. Car seemed to eat through batteries in 2 years or less, could never get that figured out either. Fantastic mpgs no matter how you drive

2014 Audi allroad review
I bought this car in early 2021 (Premium Plus package) and have had it for about a year now. I'm absolutely in love with the car - the handling, passing power, refined cabin with all the bells and whistles, aggressive body lines for a wagon and overall size. I've long owned wagons; mostly subarus with a WRX, Forester and Crosstrek XV; and was once a die hard Subie owner... until I got into this Audi and it blew my mind. Subaru is not known for its interior features or designs, so the refinement and design of the interior on the Allroad was a major change for me and I never realized how much I appreciate the bells and whistles like power seats, heated seats, Bluetooth compatibility, Nav, independent climate controls, etc. Most notably is the highway power... the "get-up" in this car at freeway speeds is absolutely outstanding and excites me everytime I need to pass. Took it on a road trip to southern Cali last summer and was very impressed with the gas mileage on the long trip (about 420 miles to a tank) and the ride is soooooo smooth and enjoyable. I long commuted from Phoenix to Sacramento (780 miles/13hrs) in my Subaru's and by hour 6-7, I was always hurting... took me about 8 hours to get to SoCal last summer and the entire duration of the drive was enjoyable and my body felt great upon arrival in the Allroad. If you like wagon's... this is the vehicle to own!

2015 Volkswagen Golf SportWagen review
We purchased a used TDI with 50K miles. now has over 150K and have only done oil changes and fuel filter. Only necessary repair was the HVAC blower motor just recently failed. Incredibly reliable car. Diesel engine paired with the 6 speed automatic trans delivers awesome torque whenever you need it. 50+ mpg on hwy trips and averaging 39 mpg commuting. The interior is obviously not luxurious but comfortable enough to keep you happy. I should mention the Stereo system and bluetooth is unreliable. Powers itself on and off at random and will require repair. The cargo area is surprisingly large when the seats are folded down as well.

Am holding on to my Audi Allroad because I can't find a good replacement. Only repair has been to the suspension and it was not expensive. Handles beautifully in all weathers and is supremely comfortable on long trips.

2017 Volvo V60 review
I bought the car used from a non-Volvo dealer. I have not been driving much due to the pandemic, but a couple of computer glitches have arisen. I took the car into a Volvo dealer for service on the issue, thank goodness the car is still under warranty. The problem with the auto start-stop feature wasn't working, it was "fixed" but the problem has reoccurred intermittently. And now the side mirrors are not retracting upon shutdown... that isn't good.

Dealership experience was fine. I have a few suggestions to make it better. 1. Have the car I was scheduled to view washed before I arrive. Second suggestion is to have more gas in the car as I was only able to drive a few miles before I had to stop to get gas. 2015 Volkswagen Golf SportWagen review
Bought car used in 2021 did the timing belt and water pump at 100 k due to leak replaced the infotainment screen due to flickering in 2022 . Replaced driver door handle due to malfunction with keyless system in 2022 ,do oil changes on the diesel at 5 k as opposed to factory 10k because I think it's a better choice for long-term use after you get used to the diesel quirks it gets great mileage and is super comfortable with the heated seats would buy another one on a minute

As a regular customer at the service department I always ask for the consistently courteous and flawless management of my vehicle requests by Oscar Galatia. Under Oscar’s guidance from his earliest work with Autobarn Mazda of Evanston to date, I never have had to return to him with a complaint that the work had been done poorly, with mistakes made, or required work not having been done at all. Yes, good work by mechanics have made that possible, but only under the tight, intelligent, direction and inspection of Galatia. He also has a pleasing and satisfying way of dealing with all of his customers whom I have observed close up when I have regularly waited with other customers to have their vehicles worked on and returned. Because of Oscar and the work results he has managed and produced, I have frequently recommended Autobarn and it’s excellent service work and Service Advisor management to others who need a place recommended for consistently good prices, management, and charges. I suggest that management do whatever it can to retain the services of its multi-talented and perceptive Service Advisor Oscar Galatia. He is well trained, experienced, intelligent, and dedicated as I have seen first hand when he has worked with me. Love this car. It’s drives well. I have owned for two years and it’s very reliable and affordable to maintain. It’s always fun to drive. Great cargo room. Great stereo and audio features. Great gas mileage. I really really love it. Best car ever. I have had outback’s, Prius, accords, civics, and carollos and this car is the best. So happy with it. I am waiting for a new fresher model to come out but not in a rush.

Even helped out the next day via facetime when we forgot how some of them worked. And then called AGAIN the next day to make sure we didn't have more questions!!! When's the last time that ever happenned to you? Elson, his manager? More of the same. No BS, no haggling, reasonable on every issue and request; cuts righ to the chase. Found out he jogs near our home and actually invited him to stop by for coffee. When has that ever happenned? Rashard? Continued the same great service. Looking for a car? These are the guys to see.
