  • It died after six years!

I got my drivers license and my family bought me a 1992 4.0. It was extremely fast, looked great and plowed through the snow only a Hummer would have beat it. The interior looks like it’s a ‘70s car no leather, CD or decent sound system. By 2002 it was unbearable to be seen in and the engine was blown that year so I got 6 years use.

  • The best car I've ever owned.

I bought it new in 1992 and drove it everywhere, taking kids to school, going to rugby tournaments and road trips. It has been a great car and I don't want to sell it but we are running out of room in the drive way.

  • Great car to get from A to B. Bad gas mileage valu

Great car for snowy winters. Very reliable. It was my very first car, and it was great for a rookie driver. Not great on the wallet in terms of gas. Would definitely recommend.

  • Simply the Best

If you are in the market for a vehicle that can go anywhere anytime this is it, i loved my jeep from day one, it is indestructible due to its simple Proven design. I would recommend it to anyone from your first car to your last, i know im keeping mine forever no matter what, and if i had to buy another vehicle, it would be a jeep for sure.

  • Jeepnut

My 1992 Cherokee 4.0 HO has over 258,000 miles and runs perfectly with no major overhaul of any kind. With normal maintenance and timely oil changes, this motor is virtually indestructable. I can drive the interstate confidently or pull on to the beach, into the woods, or anywhere else I choose to go.

  • Over 252,000 original miles and still going!

I am very happy with my 1992 Jeep Cherokee. I've spent very little money on repairs and continue with regular oil changes. I've driven from Florida to Massachusetts with no problems, and that was with over 235,000 original miles. My next vehicle is a Grand Cherokee, yet I'm keeping the 1992 Cherokee for a second vehicle. It has paid for itself many times over!
