  • Brakes are terrible

Would be great if they would recall, re-design and fix the known HCU problem. Brakes don't work well period. Two went out before 50k miles, and I just listen to the constant dinging and put up with the constant flashing, because there is no fix and Ram refuses to help. I've bought a long list of Rams, Duangos and Chargers. Their warranties use to be great, now they are not and very hard to get any work done. Cummins is great, but hate the DEF next to the hole for diesel, and truck is getting dated. I might be switching brands.

  • Recall this HCU issue already!

Check the Forums, HCU failing as often as you change you oil, not covered by bumper to bumper warranty, 1k+ repair bill out of pocket, hundreds and hundreds of posts about this issue. Was always a Ram owner, probably never again!

  • Don’t buy Ram 3500

The valve seat broke and destroyed the motor some where between 125k-140k miles. Dodge says there’s nothing they will do. Meanwhile, my disabled, retired veteran husband has lost his 401k and out savings trying to get it fixed. We keep getting told that there is no reason for it to do this so early. Dodge customer service just had one answer, “there’s nothing we can do”.

  • The ram dsl is the only truck I will every own

The ram 3500 exceeded my expectation for the gas mileage and reliability. This is my 2nd dsl and I wouldn’t buy a Ford or GM.

  • The truck has been in the shop 3 times .

But far the best deal for the money. This includes styling, interior, power , comfort and valueg. I was Disappointed that it has been in the shop 3 times with under 3500 miles for the evap system repair. I was charged for the repairs while truck was under bumper to bumper warranty!

  • Started great and went down hill fast.

Great truck at 1st. Poor suspension causing tires to wear and be replaced front tire every 5000 miles. Dealer cant fix problem and its costing me because they stat no issues..lol..I value my family and refuse to run on bad front tires.

This truck is the best truck I have ever seen . I look at Ford, GM,and Ram. The Ram is the best truck on the market. When I started I thought it was going to be a Ford for me. I was wrong. Love my Ram. This was the best decision. I pull a 42 foot fifth wheel. The truck is a beast. If I ever need a new truck again. It will be a Ram.
