Don McGill Toyota of HoustonReviews
Don McGill Toyota of Houston review
We recently bought our second Toyota from Don McGill. The first was a 2020Toyota Avalon and the second was a 2024 Toyota Crown. The first purchase went off without a hitch and we were very satisfied. The second car (the 2024 Crown) was purchased and delivered on 12/29/2023 with only one key FOB; I was told me I would get a second key FOB in six months. I subsequently talked to the service department; they promptly ordered one and I received it one week later. I do have an issue with the title department. My credit union is threatening to raise my loan interest rate if they don't receive the title. The only way to satisfy my credit union is to explain the process which I do not understand. The dealer should be more proactive in ensuring that the sales process does not end with delivery. My credit union still hasn't received the title. I am forced to keep calling which shouldn't be necessary.

Dannielle and Jarod truly made our buying experience enjoyable. They were very knowledgeable and always there to answer all of our questions.
2025 Acura MDX review
Wife and I leased a 2025 MDX A-spec Advance in Apex Blue with red interior. Before acquiring this vehicle, I would’ve considered us Lexus brand loyalists. I wasn’t too sure about buying another Acura and always considered them to be overpriced Hondas. So far, we love it. The tech is light years ahead of our old 2022 Lexus RX350 F-Sport. The ride is very comfortable with minimal effort required to steer the vehicle. The 19-speaker B&O sound system is awesome! The massaging seats are definitely worth the upgrade from the A-spec to the A-spec Advance. The feathery soft gas pedal does take some getting used to, while the brakes require more effort to engage than I would prefer, especially for a vehicle of this size. There are a few things we found to be a bit odd. We’re not big fans of all the piano finished black plastic throughout the dash, but at least there are physical buttons. When the vehicle is in reverse, only ONE of the side mirrors tilts downward, making it difficult to utilize both mirrors to back up. I have to switch between Left or Right while backing up, which is not very practical. It does have cameras under the mirrors which provide a surround-view perspective, but it’s not as clear or as convenient as using two mirrors, especially when it’s raining! I believe that’s exclusive to Acura. Our 2012 TSX only tilted one mirror at a time as well. Also, for a vehicle nearing $70k, you would expect the rear windshield wiper to be hidden under the rear spoiler. It doesn’t give the vehicle a seamless finish and is a constant reminder of how Honda/Acura cut corners to save money instead of differentiating the MDX from the Pilot it’s based on.

Norman Hyundai review
I spent some time looking at cars and just not finding anything I loved, then I went to Norman Hyundai and worked with Gabe. He listened to my wants and needs, then presented me with an option I never would have considered. PLUS he was patient, answered my questions, understood my buying perimeters, and fought for me to get the deal I wanted. I am happy to say that I bought a (pre-loved) Mercedes GLB 250 from him!

De'von was an excellent sales person. He was extremely helpful and kept me and my wife up to date on everything that was going on while we waited for our new car. He was a joy to talk to and was able to help us find a great car that we could afford and enjoy. I couldn't have asked for a better person to assist us through the process of finding and purchasing a new vehicle. Will return to him for any future vehicle purchases. Even while waiting 5 hrs for the process to be complete he stayed up beat and kept us informed to everything going on to clean and inspect our vehicle to make sure it was 100% clean and ready for us. Will suggest anyone looking to buy goes to him.

Thruway NissanReviews
Thruway Nissan review
I recently purchased my second vehicle from Thruway Nissan, and once again, it was an excellent experience from start to finish. My salesperson, Dionis, was professional, knowledgeable, and made the entire process smooth and stress-free. He took the time to answer all my questions and made sure I felt confident in my decision. Indira, the finance manager, was equally amazing. She explained everything clearly, made the paperwork process easy to understand, and ensured I was comfortable with every step. Her professionalism and efficiency made a big difference. I also want to mention Erik, who I worked with two years ago when I purchased my first vehicle here. It?s great to see him now as a sales manager. His continued presence speaks to the quality and consistency of the team at Thruway Nissan. This dealership truly values their customers and provides a positive, welcoming environment. That?s exactly why I came back for my second vehicle. I highly recommend Thruway Nissan to anyone looking for a great car-buying experience.

Mercedes-Benz of Nanuet review
Sam was very responsive and quick to answer any questions that I had. The time to purchase was unfortunately out of their control as they were waiting on the title to come in from Lexus post lease buy-out. The dealership was about an hour and a half from me, so I only wanted to make that trip once - and relied on Sam to show any issues with the vehicle (which included video calls). Overall - pretty easy transaction and I love the car so far!

Honda of EscondidoReviews
Honda of Escondido review
Honda of Escondido 1700 Auto Park Way •Escondido, CA, 92029 I had a great experience at this dealership-4/13/25 my luckiest day ever! Worked with Ray Sun-Sales Manager and Massud Mainayar-Finance Manager to make my dream car happen. It’s worth my 45 minutes drive. Super friendly and helpful and made the entire process run smoothly. If you’re in the market for a new car I would high recommend reaching out to Ray Sun-Sales Manager. Honda of Escondido also have a very clean and comfortable lounge to wait. Ray was great to work with and really went above and beyond to secure my desired car and ensure top quality. He also kept us well informed along the way about timing and next steps. It was a pleasure working with him and I would highly recommend him. And finally, I had a very pleasant experience working with Massud Mainayar-Finance Manager. He made me understand the whole paperworks process, Massud also went above and beyond to find the best financing solution for my needs, even when I had some specific requirements. I highly recommend them to anyone looking for a finance manager who is knowledgeable, efficient, and customer-focused. Again-I was very pleased with their professionalism and helpfulness. They were all knowledgeable about different financing options and took the time to explain everything clearly, ensuring I felt comfortable with my decision. I truly had an amazing experience at Honda of Escondido, quick process. No xx. No hassle! Ray Sun- Sales Manager and Massud Mainayar-Finance Manager and the rest of the team was great! Had me in the car I wanted in no time, they all had a great attitude while I figured out what I wanted to do and overall was a place to buy a car I would recommend!

A big shout out to Carlos Holmes, Newbold BMW Technical Support. He did an outstanding job ensuring our profiles were complete. This allowed us to manage our app’s properly and to drive our new high tech SUV. He was exceptionally patient with two tech challenged senior citizens. Thank you Carlos, you were great!

2025 Acura MDX review
This is the 2nd MDX Type S I’ve owned and there are many things to like, however I think it’s deplorable they no longer offer satellite radio in the car ! Even WORSE, they no longer offer Roadside Assistance. I will NEVER by another Acura/Honda product again!!
