We had the most incredible experience at Norm Reeves Honda Superstore - Huntington Beach, CA. Barry Luke is the representative that handled getting my wife's new Honda civic LX. I can't talk enough about how amazing and refreshing this experience with him was. From the get go, Barry wasn't pushy, calm, and most importantly - he beat the rest of the competition. I personally went to the socal honda website and contacted probably 75% of the dealerships in Los Angeles and Barry's deal was the best. From his calm attitude and demeanor, care, and respect for making things quick - we were in and out of the dealership within ONE HOUR and drove off the lot with our new car after our 2020 trade in. He made sure not to waste our time. Again, I can't recommend him and the team over there enough. He is a rare gem in an industry that is oversaturated with false information, pushiness/aggression, and sales tactics. GO HERE!!! And ask for BARRY! And REYMOND!

The dealership it's self is beautiful and super clean. They also have AWESOME cars inside in which you can sit and mess around in. The overall rating is a 4 BECAUSE, it is so hard to get a hold of these guys to take the car in. We've called 4 or 5 times to only leave messages that have never been responded to, so we are planning on just going there whether they want us to or not!

From the moment I walked into Hawthorne Motors Express back in April 2026, everyone made me feel genuinely welcomed. It wasn’t long before I realized that this wasn’t just another car dealership, it was a small, very family-owned business run by people who truly care about what they do and the customers who walk through their doors. I could immediately tell that Haas, the father, was a good and honest person who takes real pride in the quality and value of his vehicles. Vicky, the mother, is soft-spoken, kind, and always ready to help with whatever you need. Mike is one hell of a salesman! He always gave me options, listened to what I was looking for, and even kept me in mind whenever a new vehicle hit the lot. And Sara, she is absolutely amazing at what she does. As someone with challenging credit, Sara did everything she possibly could to help me get approved, working with different lenders and continuing to try for me. When you have challenging credit, it can be extremely difficult and discouraging trying to get a vehicle. After going to so many big-name dealerships and constantly being told no, you really start to lose hope. That was around the time I walked into Hawthorne Motors Express. Looking back, it honestly feels like every place I went to before them led me right to Hawthorne Motors Express. It just made sense. One thing I can confidently say is that the quality of their vehicles speaks for itself. The cars I have seen and driven have been in exceptionally good condition. They drive amazingly, aren’t sitting at insanely high mileage, and they have relatively newer vehicles with fair price tags to match. I will always root for Hawthorne Motors Express, and I will always recommend my family and friends come here when looking for their next vehicle. This family has genuinely become friends of mine. I trust that when they say they are going to take care of something pertaining to a vehicle, they will do it. They get things done! I purchased a used Mercedes-Benz E55 AMG from the Carmax in Costa Mesa, CA about a month ago. I started out by calling the Carmax and reaching a sales agent. She worked with me by setting aside the car so that I could fly down to pick it up. She picked me up from the airport about 15 miles away from their dealership. When I saw the car, I found some minor cosmetic issues with the car and Carmax assured me that they would repair them at my local Carmax in Roseville, CA. I will be writing a review about that Carmax as well. They issued me a form stating repairs to be done at my local dealership. I informed the salesperson that I would be pushing the car a bit and she was fine with it. After the test drive, the car seemed to be in great condition, so we headed in for the paperwork. The appearance inside of the dealership building did not convey a welcoming feeling though. It felt like a warehouse with desks in it. The people within the building were nice and friendly though. The paperwork was pretty quick as I already had a loan check from the credit union. It took about 30 minutes and then I was on my way. Overall, I would say the experience was positive.
