I have previously owned an Audi S4 (4.2L V8), and was searching for just the right vehicle that would give a similar performance feel. Because Audi doesn't release every model every year, I actually waited quite a few years to find the perfect match - the 2018 TT RS. I had been to several dealers in the area and was disappointed that many sales people were not specialized in the RS line or conveyed strong technical knowledge of the Audi vehicles. I knew exactly what I wanted, it was just a matter of who I wanted to establish a relationship with to buy the car and then to maintain it. I walked into Audi Hoffman Estates and was immediately greeted. I said what I was interested in, and was introduced to Mike Macedon as the expert. He did not disappoint - he's very professional and respectful of all his customers. He spent a lot of time with me, answering questions and discussing technical aspects of the vehicle. As a female customer, that quality is sometimes hard to find. It's clear Mike is a car enthusiast and really enjoys his job and where he works. I ordered the TT RS after talking to Mike and, for that type of vehicle, thought the price was fair. The TT RS ended up being on allocation for 6+ months and Mike kept in contact the whole time with status updates and what he was doing to try to get an allocation released, or to help me get the car sooner. Mike has always been courteous and communicative. When he was finally able to secure the car, he had all the administrative work done in advance. The purchasing experience couldn't have been easier. Mike also introduced me to Rick Kelstrom in the service department, and Rick has also been excellent to work with. If you're lucky enough to work with Mike and Rick, I highly recommend going to Audi Hoffman Estates.
