Biggest negative on the X5 is the run flat tires. I think they reduce the quality of the ride and at 5,000 miles had to replace two flat tires ---- non-repairable damage.

Something I was dreading for the past two years, was so surprisingly easy I couldn't believe it!!!

2025 BMW X5 review
Purchased my fifth BMW, a 2025 X5 m40i. My last BMW was A 2024 X5 M60i so I have a little experience with both the V6 and V8 X5. The 8 cylinder is a beast and very fast, but the X5 is more of a luxury SUV than a performance car, so I opted for the Turbo Charged six cylinder. Plenty of power and about 10 mpg better gas mileage. I enjoy technology and have all the available packages. I find the tech reliable and easy to operate. I have 22” black wheels on my BMW, so I opted for the optional wheel and tire warranty as I’ve always had wheels fail by hitting pot holes, etc.

I’ve owned 108 cars over the years, and this was one of the most streamlined car-buying experiences I’ve ever had. They gave me exactly what I asked for on my trade-in value, which made the decision easy. When I arrived at the dealership, all the paperwork was prepared and ready to go — no waiting around. The team was incredibly welcoming, including my salesperson Abel, and Finance Managers, Alex and Corbin and also the General Manager. The visit was efficient, professional, and genuinely enjoyable — and they even sent me off with a beautiful Land Rover hoodie. Highly recommend!
