My husband told me about Carvana from a commercial ad he heard/saw. I laughed about it and said 'yah right, there's gotta be a hitch somewhere'. A few weeks later, he brought up Carvana again....curious, I decided to check it out online. The key words there was 'check it out'. I ended up buying a vehicle a couple hours later. Yeup, it was just like that. No hassle, no hidden costs or agendas. So after reviewing everything on the site, I started looking at minivans....I started falling in love with minivans....I started buying minivans....all through carvana. Once I locked in the one I wanted, I went through the credit process, documentation process, and pick up date (I chose pick up - because at this point, I still felt a little 'leary' about the whole deal'. It was so simple, and so honest, and so real. Over the course of the next 24 hours, all my submitted documents were approved and we just had two days to go to pick up the new mininvan. When we got to the store, it's not like a dealership with a lot, but it had three beautiful, well lit, very clean, showroom like bays that your vehicle is sitting in for your to do a complete inspection of it. It was very classy. Please note, our particular location does not have the car vending machine just yet. After passing our over check, I hopped in the car and drove it 65 miles home. She ran like a charm and I knew I had 7 days to decide if I wanted to keep her not. At day 3, although I loved her, she didn't have all the bells and whistles I truly wanted so that evening, I was back on the Carvana site, shopping for a replacement minivan....it's so easy to do when it gives you results based on your financial settings....I found the new 'her' a few hours later. I ordered her up and made the quick call explaining I was swapping and chose to have the vehicle delivered instead of going there to save time. The whole swap process took 2 days...they pulled up right to my house with my next new minivan. In my eyes, she was perfect, but I found a flaw before she was even off the truck. There was a huge bolt in the back tire. I was so disappointed. But Carvana took care of that so amazingly over the top.....they still brought her off the truck so I can check out the interior, test drive it, etc. We found a few more things that we felt should be fixed...minor things. Carvana took note of the items, and took the vehicle back on the truck but promised me (because I really wanted her that day) they would bring her back with a new tire....they kept their promise, three hours later she was back with a brand new tire, not one, but TWO brand new back tires. And they put an extra Carvana cup in the car for me. They swapped the minivans and off the old one went and there I sat with the new one. Smile ear to ear. I worked with Carvana on 6 items that we believed needed repair before committing to keep the vehicle. Carvana went above and beyond. I got an estimate for the repairs at a local shop, Carvana approved it, and within a few weeks, all repairs were completed through Carvana and I have the perfect vehicle, no hassle, no hidden agendas. And every person I dealt with on the phone or in person were ABSOLUTELY AMAZING, FRIENDLY, HELPFUL, AND JUST THE BEST!! My Carvana experience was the absolute best. I will never go back to buying a car the old 'car dealership' way. And ironically, we had bought our other vehicle from a dealership just 3 months before being introduced to Carvana. I will give one warning about buying a vehicle through Carvana this way....it can be addicting..lol :-) Yes, I still shop Carvana cars every now and then....I don't even need a car, I just love seeing what Carvana has because it was sooo simple :-) Thank you Carvana for a trememdously wonderful experience.

My husband recently passed away before getting around to updating to a newer vehicle. Today I woke up to 2 older vehicles, both needing repairs, high payments with only my income to work with. After saying a prayer, I called Regional Hyundai. I spoke to Robert Rodriguez. I explained my situation and shared with him my anxiety of purchasing a vehicle on my own for the first time in my life. It is simply some insight and advice that may help the harder to deal with customers.)The guys were GREAT! It's almost impossible to hit a perfect score, we are all human. I wish someone would have offered us something to drink while we waited for 5 hours. When I finally requested a bottle of water, I was given a cup of water from the water fountain (gross!) but since I was so thirsty I drank it anyway. You would think that if you are spending over 20k on a vehicle that you would be worth a bottle of water or even go the extra mile with a soda. I would also recommend to let the guys who clean the vehicles up know that if someone purchases a new vehicle, there is no need to spray stinky air freshener in it before delivery/pick up. One of the best parts about buying a new car is the 'new car smell', it was very disappointing that it lacked that luster. Also, it felt a little bit like once we were passed on to the finance guy, we were 'old news'. Would have been nice to been made to felt somewhat 'special'. I am in the broadcasting and customer service business, so these things probably stand out more to me than to the average bear. Overall, I am happy with the vehicle and the guys were nice. Finance guy, Vic, was awesome at being thorough and clear about the insurance/extended warranty options. DJ was nice as well. Thank you guys for getting me into this vehicle. It is lovely and you went above and beyond to ultimately get me as close to the features that I wanted without pushing me TOO far above my price range. Thank you guys for everything. You rock! (Offer your customers something to drink! They are there spending a LOT of money! Don't make them buy a soda or water. It's not like buying a new pair of shoes, spring for a soda or something! lol) Again, overall it was good. Thanks DJ! (Reminder: before I moved from OKC I always dealt with the same salesman at the same dealership [for the past 3 vehicles I have purchased]. The way I could always remember his name/number/dealership is because he always put his business card in the ashtray or cubby/console. Anytime I was in the market for a vehicle, I knew exactly who and where to call!) Also, you should have your front desk girls smile and maybe even greet/acknowledge the customers.

Buying a car is stressful even if you have a lot of experience. Historically, it has been time consuming, emotionally taxing and most of us go into a dealership with far less knowledge than we ought for a purchase of the magnitude of a car. Salespeople have (understandable) pressures to move inventory and even the most fair-minded is looking to get the highest price they can get away with. It is harrowing at best. With my experience with Carvana, all of these stresses were eliminated. I browsed inventory as widely or narrowly as I wanted, for as long as I needed. I could dictate pricing ranges that were suitable for me. The car I received was *exactly* the car I examined online, right down to some inconsequential bumper scuffs. Beyond this, and *absolutely unlike* any other online business, I could speak to a *real human being* within a few minutes of calling (I had six or seven conversations with Carvana agents over the 3 1/2 weeks from car selection to car receipt). They either had the answers at hand, or researched them and replied promptly with a follow up call. Delivery coordination and drop off (and test drive) were *painless no pressure* experiences???all preparatory contract paperwork was prepared in advance leaving only title transfer stuff to take care of. It took 45 minutes, tops. (I transacted entirely in cash, so I cannot speak to the process when there is financing.) Honestly, the biggest delay was on *my* end getting the insurance transferred (having to wait on hold with my insurance company for 15 minutes). The car was 100% was described???absolutely no surprises. The images on the web site for my car were not stock images. What I saw was what I got. Naturally, it was clean, filled up with a full tank, with new tires and the whole nine yards. Even got a ???free??? Carvana reusable coffee cup and key chain. Nice touch. The part that I found the most extraordinary was the 7-day money-back guarantee, which pretty much covers a change of mind unless you get into an accident or drive it a ton (over 400 miles, and even then, they???ll take it back after a modest per-mile-over-400 charge). All in all, I was dreading buying a car (and selling my used one) and Carvana made it pleasurable. I am absolutely recommending them to all of my friends and coworkers and I hope (as a relatively new company) they keep up the excellent work.

This is my second vehicle purchased from Vroom in the last 12 months, and I can't imagine ever buying a used car from a brick-and-mortar dealership again. Vroom offers a terrific selection of late model used vehicles. The pictures really make it easy to know what the car looks like. I am a car enthusiast! I spend way too much on cars ??? but I work 24/7 and it???s my only hobby. This review will be a bit on the long side, simply because I have so much to say about my experience with Vroom. My wife gets frustrated with me because I talk so often about how amazed I am with Vroom in every aspect! I bought my first car in 1968. Back then I couldn???t afford much, but since about 1979 I???ve purchased some very cool cars. I even bought a brand new Rolls Royce back in 1985. I???ve owned: exactly 10 Mercedes, Jaguar, Ferrari, Audi R8, BMW, Range Rover and several others. So when it comes to dealing with car dealerships, I feel like I???ve become rather expert ??? AND a huge skeptic of car dealerships!!! When you buy a high-end car, you lose SOOO MUCH money, as soon as you drive it off the showroom floor. So the last time we purchased cars, we decided to purchase nearly-new cars with very low mileage on them. We bought an Audi R8 and a Mercedes SL63. And it turned out GREAT. No regrets. So now it was time to sell those cars and buy two more. I happened across Vroom.com in my Internet search, and found the perfect cars for both my wife and I at the same place ??? Vroom.com. The cars are nearly identical to the same cars we???ve been driving, but just newer. A 2014 Audi R8 and a 2014 SL63 ??? both with about 3,500 miles on them. Even the same colors as our previous cars. I got bids from several companies to sell our cars to. Vroom offered the highest amounts on both of our cars!! And it was FAR easier to sell to them than any other company. Unbelievably simple! And the prices for the newer 2014 cars was extremely fair. I flew out from South Orange County, California to Vroom to look at and drive both cars. Vroom picked me up at the airport and brought me back to the airport. I was extremely impressed with Vroom and their showroom. And without exception, every single person I???ve spoken with and dealt with at Vroom has been not only helpful and enthusiastic, but GENUINELY concerned about making me happy. Even after the sale they keep contacting me to see how I???m doing and to ask if there???s anything that I need. They got me great financing! Less than 3% interest rate. I had no clue that you could do that with a ???used??? car. No other buying or trade-in experience I???ve ever had comes even close to how great, simple and fast this was. Oh???and they shipped the cars from Texas to us at NO CHARGE, and picked up our two cars at the same time. And the nice young man who delivered the cars was fabulous. He was so very, very careful with our cars. And not only do they have their guarantee ??? I believe you have a week or so to drive the car, and if you don???t like it, they will take the car back. They even told me several times (even after I???d purchased the cars) that if for some reason we decided we did not want the cars, they would come pick them up and truck them back to Texas at NO COST to use. Unbelievable!! Well, my wife is now also so impressed that she no longer is frustrated with me for talking about Vroom so much, and telling all my friends. In fact, I???ve already asked Vroom to look for a car for my daughter. I now would not think of getting her car anywhere else than Vroom. I mentioned before that I???m a skeptic when it comes to car salesmen and dealerships. So if I was you reading this, the first thing I???d wonder is, ???Why is this guy writing this review? Are they paying him???..???? Well, I don???t know any of the people at Vroom. I spent so much time on this review simply because I believe that when people deserve credit, and they treat you so nicely, you should reciprocate and sing their praises. My name is Dr. Rod Kurthy. I was referred to Texas Direct Auto/Vroom by a good friend and I???m glad I decided to go with them for my car purchase! I initially got Billie as my car sales personnel, but she seemed to be very pushy and just aiming to make quick sale; which is something that made me very uncomfortable. After speaking with her for a while I advised I would give her a call back to speak with my financial advisor on proceeding further on this process with Vroom. When I called back I got a different agent that saw in the system that saw I was talking to Billie and advised me that she would give me a call back in 5 mins, well 30 mins passed and I called back upset because I did not hear back from her after she ran my credit and didn???t like the fact I wasn???t trying to put 2500 down. My credit score was excellent I had a 740, but I didn???t have enough credit history she said is the reason why she kept asking me to put so much money down on 23k 24k car. The last time I called upset after not hearing anything from her a gentleman by the name of Shannon Humbles answered and I advised him that I did not want to work with Billie anymore because she made me feel very uncomfortable and I felt like she didn???t personally care about helping me through the process of the purchase. Shannon is an ALLSTAR!! He went over and beyond the call of duty to help me make this purchase!!! 7 days later my vehicle sits in my parking garage and I love it! The process was so easy to purchase, I had to put 1500 which is the standard, instead of 2800 that???s Billie was demanding that I put down! Please go with Vroom! I saw a couple bad reviews and I know every process has its flaws, but I???m here to tell you, they work! They are a very good company and I look forward to making another purchase with them for my girlfriend???s Christmas gift! Thanks Shannon and Vroom!!!!

I will say that I was a bit apprehensive after reading some negative reviews; but due to the volume that this dealer ships out, I can only assume that poor experiences are a small percentage of their business practice. I visited Vroom???s website in the evening and decided to purchase my wife a Cadillac SRX. Within minutes I received a call from a sales rep. Within an hour of that initial call, he collected my $500 ???hold fee??? that was later applied to my down payment. The following day, my sales rep called to inform me that financing was secured, even with blemished credit. (Required an additional $600 down payment which I had wire transferred). 3 days later, I received my contract via FedEx, completed it, and shipped it back. Once they received and reviewed, I was sent an email with an expected delivery date. From start to finish, the entire process took 10 days, and we received a used Cadillac SRX in EXCELLENT condition. The interior was spotless. The exterior needed a wash, but it was understandable because the car was shipped from Texas to Florida. I have already recommended this service to others, and will likely use them again. *Car does come with a 60 day temp tag, and I have not heard back from Vroom about acquiring my actual registration and plate. - However, I believe that I still have a couple of weeks left on the current tag.

Drives like a sports car and has a very solid feel. Barely get to 1900 rpms at 85-90mph, 30-34mph hwy, 27-28 overall mpg, quiet, spacious, cargo space, and super responsive steering. Update your navi software, it is an improvement. Best phone clarity on Bluetooth I have experienced. Switched to non-runflat tires(improved ride). 40,000 miles and no issues. My seats are a little to firm, but have no issues driving on long road trips

Previously had 2016 BMW X3 which was a great car. The re-designed 2018 X3 didn’t have as tight of steering and felt slightly lower in seating position. I test drove the 2018 X5 and loved the higher ride, the tight steering and beautiful interior. My old X3 felt a bit sportier and quicker but the X5 is more powerful. Love it!

Yes, where do I start. Do I start with this being the best car buying experience I've ever had? That would be too obvious. But it would be the absolute honest truth. I think that everyone is so used to going to the dealership. Being there for 8 hours (you should get paid for being there you're there so long). Sales people trying to up-sell you on every little thing that you didn't ask for. Just an all around miserable experience. Then you go to carvana.com. You put in exactly what you're looking for. Exactly what you want to pay and presto you have a wonderful car. I believe it took me 45 minutes to do this entire transaction. From first going on the site and finding my 2016 Chervolet Equinox (maybe 15 minutes). To uploading my paperwork (5 minutes). To being approved (5 minutes). To having the car delivered, taking a test drive and signing the papers (20 minutes). It was the best transactions I've done since finding my husband. I've told everyone I know about this. We've watched videos of other people getting their cars. Too funny. Thank you Carvana for this wonderful experience. Can't wait to get my Husband a car now.

I could not believe how easy - and fast - buying a car could be. I decided a used car was for me, so I started looking online and at local dealerships. All I can say is that that experience was enough to put me off the whole process. Dealer add-ons. Limited or no warranty. ???What are you willing to pay???? Enough!!! I saw an ad online for Carvana, which I had never heard of, and thought ???what the heck.??? Such a great find! From the quick and easy search, to no haggle pricing, to easy payment (I was able to pay cash online, but they also offer financing), to a no-risk 7-day return policy AND an additional 100-day warranty on top of that! There was nothing to lose. It took only a few days for delivery - to my home! - and the paperwork was handled in about 5 minutes. They even had a notary show up! They handle the registration, too - no waiting in line at DMV. Bottom line: I love the car, I got it at a good price, and it could not have been easier. Actually, it???s scary how easy it was. I have to stop myself from looking more on he Carvana website, lol.

I have owned this car for 2 years now and I have driven it for 25,000 miles. I am overall pleased with the car. In fact, I test drove it by chance, more out of curiosity than anything else, and I was immediately won over and decided to buy it after trying a shortlist of about other 10-12 SUVs. Is it perfect? No, but it is not half bad either. FUEL ECONOMY. I have the 6-cylinder, 4 wheel drive model. I drive about 30% city and 70% hwy. From LA to SF I have achieved 25.6 mpg on all hwy by exploiting the coasting ability of this heavy vehicle. Overall, at 25,000 miles, my average is at 22.2 mpg. Pure city driving is painful and I do not think one can achieve more than 16 mpg. Definitely not more than 17mpg. The tank is large and the range is excellent at over 500 miles of pure freeway/highway. I do not drive slow. In fact, I have taken it to over 100mph and I like to drive it in sport mode on the local canyon roads as well. However, I do not accelerate and brake all the time. COST OF MAINTENANCE SO FAR. So far $0 as it is still under warranty. Brakes... at 25k miles, according to the computer, I have still 18k miles left on the front brakes and 28k miles left on the rear brakes. So, you do the numbers. Tires, I am afraid that the Pirelli run flat tires it came with will probably not last for more than 40-45k miles. That I am disappointed. I was hoping for at least 60k miles, frankly. In 2 years I have never burned rubber as, frankly, I could not care less. 2 oil changes (free). According to BMW my driving is much better than average and the computer asks me to change the oil every 11.5k miles instead of the more typical 10k miles. COMFORT and RIDE. I do not like the standard seats one bit. Ugly and uncomfortable. I immediately went for the luxury seats which allow for seat extension and multiple contour controls. BMW should be ashamed to sell a car in that price range with those cheap standard seats. That cost me an additional $2k, but I have not regretted it, not even for 1 second. The ride is comfortable, but on bumps the car is not very pleasant, not at all. My old Honda CR-V is way more comfortable going over bumps and I can even take the bumps at higher speeds than with my X5. Noise insulation is excellent though. Not like a $100k+ car, but excellent. The Jaguar F-Pace, for a comparison was 2x noisier than the X5 when I test drove it. Beautiful car, but too noisy, frankly. Passenger seats excellent and so are the back seats. Sometimes when I need to work on my computer in between meetings I seat there and it is very comfortable (I am 6'2"- 240). Cargo space is not huge, but more than adequate for me. Third row of seats is of no use to me and so I cannot comment on that. ISSUES. Nothing mechanical or electrical, thankfully. During the first year, on several occasions, we experienced an extremely unpleasant smell coming through the A/C or ventilation system. In a few occasion it was so bad that we had to open the window. I am not dreaming it as my wife and, in one occasion even a passenger in the back seat, reported it. I felt ashamed to have a passenger experiencing that. It was bordering the nasty. Of course, when I reported to BMW, they had no idea, but other people I know with the same or different BMW models reported a similar issue. Is it condensation during the hot days of Summer? We do not know although we experience it mostly in the hot days. Another issue is with the stop and go. No complaining about the feature, but when starting uphill, even slightly, often the car produces a short cranking noise. Never happens on flats or downhill, though. BIGGEST SURPRISE. It is not a cheap car to use, but I was surprised by the cost of the license plate sticker which, in California, comes to almost $600/year. Insurance was also a surprise, although I was kind of prepared for it. I carry a good amount of insurance but, even with a clean driving record, I am shelling out around $2,400/year. When I compare it to my Honda CR-V, the only huge difference is the collision entry. AAA told me that X5 are very expensive to fix and therefore the high price. FUN FACTOR. I will not deny that it is a fun car to drive. Besides, I had to buy it after test driving it for 1 week (car rental). However, the 0-60 in 6 seconds is nothing to brag about. With the bigger engine it would be a different thing, but that model has many more issues and fuel economy is horrendous. In sport mode it is quite a bit of fun!
