I was in the market to purchase a used automobile and had reviewed Lindsay GMC 's website for possible vehicles. After looking at 2 or 3 vehicles, my salesman, Charles Carlson, suggested that I take a look at a 2017 GMC Acadia that they had on the lot. I did and became quite interested in this vehicle. It had more room then the other vehicles that he had shown me, it had the leather that I was looking for, and it also had the MPG range that I was willing to accept in my next vehicle. Currently, after 5 days, I am getting 24.1 MPG which is a huge improvement over the 15.1 that I was getting in my Avalanche. At this point, Mr. Carlson went through the entire vehicle, pointing out most everything along the way. Once this was completed, we went inside and starting looking at some serious numbers for the purchase of this vehicle. At this point, Mr. Carlson introduced me to a gentleman named Garan, which was one of the sales managers at Lindsay GMC. After speaking with Mr. Carlson and Garan, I told them that I was going to need 24 hours to make my decision and with "no hesitation" on their part, they agreed that their offer would "stand" until the next day. After some serious consideration, I decided that I was very much interested in this automobile and returned to the dealership the next day to consummate the final deal. The next day, Garan was not available and I was introduced to Mr. Rick Foard, who was another General Sales Manager for Lindsay GMC. After further conversation and negotiation with both Mr. Carlson and Mr. Foard, we were able to come up with a price that we all could live with and I purchased the vehicle at that time. It has only been 6 days since my purchase but at this point, I am completely satisfied with my purchase. From the moment I arrived at the dealership, there was absolutely No pressure from Mr. Carlson. I told him the type of vehicle that I was looking for, one with low mileage, one that had some power but also had decent gas mileage and enough room to carry my luggage and golf clubs. That is when I was introduced to the 2017 Acadia. Obviously, the final verdict is still out and will not be determined for some time but I can say that my initial visit and my follow up visit to purchase the vehicle, as well as the entire process, has been a pleasure. Now, from this point forward is when Lindsay GMC of Warrenton will have to earn it's "stripes" and I have no doubt, based upon the people that I have met their, that they will indeed, earn their stripes!
