2020 Cadillac Escalade ESV review
Excellent mechanical upgrade from earlier series. Handles like a vehicle half its size with great transmission and suspension. Great ride quality and overall handling. Reliable thus far - 40K miles on it with one issue needed warranty replacement (starter motor). Unfortunately, the vehicle's overall ownership experience is marred by their utterly terrible CUE system. it is called "Cadillac User Experience" when it should be called "Cadillac User Exasperation". The system and touchscreen are about a clumsy as you can get - seems as if they were designed by engineers who never actually used their own creation. The CUE fails on several levels - the touch screen is overly sensitive and non-responsive at the same time (yes, we did run the "calibrate" function several times..did not help). Second, the system fails the "reasonable user test"; you cannot fully use front/rear controls, traffic controls, vehicle controls without referring continuously to the manual (there is a separate one for CUE - a real joke). Basic functions work ok..once you try to do something slightly non-stardard whoa be unto you.... Third, the navigation system is frozen in the mid 2010's....the traffic calculation for trip time is plain wrong (yes, the XM traffic information source is connected)....this is supposed to be a top-of-the line Cadillac in 2020!! to hire someone from Audi/BMW or somewhere else to show you how to do it...simply inexcusable for a "best effort" vehicle from GM in 2020 model year, let alone 2023! Lastly, the front seats have more adjustments/controls than you can count, yet the seat are uncomfortable over long distances - (yes, a separate indecipherable manual!)...also with the seats, the heat/cooling ventilation is less effective the the first Escalade we owned (a 2007 model)....way to go Cadillac. A very good vehicle that should be MUCH better given its cost and supposed statement of the BEST that GM can do for its vehicle type...FYI..we did have the premium version...

2011 Cadillac Escalade ESV review
Purchased the SUV in 2014 with 49k miles on it. Dealer replaced front and rear shocks, at 100k I replaced the shocks again. My biggest issue with these vehicles today and not just GM SUVs is the non-reliability of those costly parts. At the dealer you may pay $3,500 or more for shocks, at the Benz dealer a air rear shock will cost you $3,800 for one. Buying a SUV used with high mileage you will be looking at replacing these type of items.

2016 Cadillac Escalade ESV review
Our ESV is my wife’s daily driver and grandson hauler, and it’s proven to be an incredible vehicle for family road trips as well. 46k miles, had a couple of the common issues (trans shudder, CUE failure), but Dimmitt Cadillac provides fantastic service and overall, the ESV is very reliable. Nicely equipped with tech and safety, the interior still looks new, V8 power and 21 mpg at 75mph loaded with people and luggage, and a smooth, quiet ride that just soaks up the miles.

Had synthetic oil change, tire rotation , and multi point inspection completed on 2015 Camry . TJ was the service advisor and was extremely friendly and helpful. The tech was Matt Nunamaker and got everything done in record amount of time . I had dropped vehicle off at about 1040 and everything was complete by 1117. Only 37 minutes to complete all that , usually it takes at least 1 hr - 1 1/2 hours at other Toyota dealers. Thanks for everyone being professional and servicing my daughter’s vehicle that she uses to get from college in Knoxville back home to Virgina . Appreciate it very much !!!

2013 Cadillac Escalade ESV review
If you’re looking for a very comfortable full-size Family SUV this is the one for you! The ESV has so much more room behind the seats for groceries and shopping, etc.than the standard size! We have the standard size and there was barely enough room to cut a case of soda behind the seat. There is plenty of storage for shopping, etc. The backseats come out easily you can haul anything that a pick up truck would haul except it is inside abs out of the weather! It is loaded with so many nice features and convenience. The ride on the Cadillac Escalade platinum is the best you can imagine. You cannot feel the transmission shifting, and it is so smooth and quiet! Entertainment provided in the SUV is so nice! You can watch DVDs listen to CDs or play games easily from your own private port. The sound system is amazing! There’s a total of four monitors! Plus, there is availability of using four headphones for each individual to do their own private listening whether a game or watching TV, etc. Cadillac Escalade platinum ESV has towing capability and a robust 6.2 later engine with more power than you can imagine! It has heated and cold cup powder, as well as all kept seats are heated and cooled and the steering is heated and cooled! You also have availability of automatic bright lights while driving at night. This is a big beneficial feature. The gas mileage is good for such a nice big SUV with all these features going upwards to 17 mpg and over! I am sure you will not be disappointed with the selection of this if you want something for comfort and reliability plus amazing style. Safe and comfort is very reliable in this full size family SUV! All passengers will be extremely comfortable

The tech was Matt Nunamaker and got everything done in record amount of time . I had dropped vehicle off at about 1040 and everything was complete by 1117. Only 37 minutes to complete all that , usually it takes at least 1 hr - 1 1/2 hours at other Toyota dealers. Christopher was an excellent sales consultant during a busy year-end with a more complicated sale that required shipping the vehicle out of state to a rather picky buyer (me). Compared to another dealer I contacted this experience was “night and day”. I’d definitely recommend others to consider working with this dealership at least for the sales experience. I particularly enjoyed the fact that Chris found another RSX driver amongst the White Bear employees to perform a brief road test of my eventual car to set my mind at some ease for a real-world experience. They also were fairly cooperative about most of my requests to “seal the deal” (minor touch-up/clean up items). My only suggestions would be to see about hastening the shipping experience if that’s even possible and put a bit more effort into detail of the car before listing for sale - the car had been in their hands for a couple of months and just needed a couple small detail items to make it close to perfect for selling a 20+ year old vehicle (these were the items I had to request at time of negotiation). Nice work overall - just looking forward to the shipper to arrive that will be a great day!

For a family, this SUV gives you style and space. Even though it is a 2011, it has almost all of the features that are needed for life and travel in 2020. I will purchase another Escalade soon.
