Luther Used Car Company review
We had a complex car purchase and Luther Used Car Company stood by their word that they thoroughly make sure that they are doing their best to sell decent used cars. We were excited to find a Honda CRV at this dealership. However, just a month after we purchased the car every dashboard light came on and the engine failed, which was very expensive. When we took it back to the dealership, they paid to put in a new used engine. While doing so, they also fixed other issues they found in the process. They said that they wanted to make sure we knew that they wouldn't knowingly sell us a bad car and although that unfortunately happened, they did make it right. We are very thankful that we chose to buy our used car at Luther Used Car Company and we hope to honor them with business in the future.
2018 Cadillac XT5 review
I’ve owned 8 vehicles in my lifetime and have driven about 30 different cars, and I can confidently say the 2018 Cadillac XT5 is literally the best-handling car I’ve ever driven. Cadillac has truly mastered the balance between performance, comfort, and luxury with this model. Driving Experience: The handling is exceptional—smooth, responsive, and surprisingly agile for a midsize SUV. Whether on city streets, highways, or winding roads, the XT5 stays composed and feels incredibly secure. The suspension does an excellent job of absorbing bumps while maintaining a sporty, controlled ride. Interior & Comfort: The interior design is second to none. The XT5's cabin is on par with any top luxury brand I’ve encountered. Premium materials like leather seating, soft-touch surfaces, and tasteful accents create a space that feels both stylish and sophisticated. The seats are extremely comfortable, even on longer drives, and there's plenty of room for passengers to stretch out. Features & Amenities: This car comes loaded with luxury-level amenities, yet it’s far more affordable than similar options that can cost 20-30% more. Features like the intuitive infotainment system, touchscreen controls, Bose premium sound system, and Apple CarPlay/Android Auto integration make it feel modern and connected. Add in conveniences like a hands-free liftgate, heated/ventilated seats, and an easy-to-use navigation system, and you’re getting serious value for your money. What I Loved: Top-notch handling and ride quality Gorgeous, luxury-grade interior design Spacious and comfortable seating for both driver and passengers Outstanding features and amenities for the price What Could Be Better: While the infotainment system is great, there’s a slight learning curve at first. Overall Thoughts: The 2018 Cadillac XT5 is a near-perfect blend of luxury, performance, and practicality. For anyone considering a luxury SUV but hoping to avoid overpaying, this car is an absolute gem. It competes confidently with more expensive brands and exceeds expectations on almost every level. If you're in the market for a new/used vehicle, I'd recommend you come here and talk to Thomas Lee. Truly the best car salesman I've ever worked with . . . and I've bought a car or two in my lifetime. He actually answers his cell phone and when he's not available, he does call/text you back. He answers all questions (no matter how big or small) and doesn't get annoyed. And he actually does what he says he's going to do, he doesn't just "blow smoke" to make the sale! Oh and you can tease with this guy. Very professional, yet still human and can take a joke! I had never purchased a vehicle here before this week and unless something changes or I can't get Thomas, he has all of my future business, hands down. (I only wish we had "found" him three months ago when my son also bought a new vehicle in Cloquet, MN and got bent over bad with that dealership . . . they are so dirty, they even made sure to take the google reviews down as fast as we put them up, because evidently the truth hurts. Day and night difference in the vehicle buying experience. They need to be shut down and sure wouldn't be missed when you can go to John Hirsch in Cambridge, MN and work with Thomas Lee!)

2022 Cadillac Escalade review
I purchased a used 2021 model Sport and after being very impressed sold it in order to get a 2022 Sport with Super Cruise, which I absolutely love. I love all of the new technology, with the exception of Apple Car Play. I had a 2016 prior to this generation and was surprised that the gas mileage is actually better on the newer one. The ride is the best ever.

Got a 2023 identical to this 3 weeks ago. Bought it for retirement road travel. Have had 2 SRXs before. Traded in a sweet 2016 ATS Performance coupe reluctantly. No regrets. Electronics are outstanding. Handles better than the SRX. As peppy and nimble as the ATS. Always GM, never disappointed. Value, comfort, performance.

2019 Cadillac Escalade review
Bought the ‘19 in ‘18 off the lot at 90K- have never held onto a vehicle this long. I can not upgrade this model- better then the ‘23 thanks to world issues that affect vehicle manufacturing. Excellent ride, comfort, and superior durability. My vehicle is pristine and l love it. 40 years old, over 25 brand new purchases and this one is still a daily driver!!!

2020 Cadillac Escalade review
So far a really nice SUV. I just feel like with the price on Escalades, they missed on the interior design. You can really get on the gas when driving but the takeoff is really heavy. It almost feels really slow. Not sure on the idle but not as smooth as I would like. But it looks great! This SUV is a head turner and will standout. Just don't be afraid to spend money if you need to. Luxury SUVs are like women. They need money and love. Give them that and they will be around for a while.

2018 Cadillac XT5 review
We own two XT 5’s 2017 AWD and 2018 FWD. I can not recommend these vehicles more highly. Eight years with the 2017 and no major issues at all. Regular oil changes and have been diligent with manufacturing recommended services. The vehicle is comfortable, reliable and I am keeping it to the end. 78,500 miles by the way. The 2018 is 6 months old with me. I purchased it with 18,000 miles. Just finished having all fluids flushed, plugs changed out and some high quality tires on it, and look for to owning it for the long haul. I am very impressed with these vehicles. They feel solid in inclimate weather, handle exceptionally well and the fit and feel are top notch!

2015 Cadillac ATS review
I previously leased a 2014 and was heartbroken when I had to return it end of lease in 2017. I picked up a used 2015 in 2020 and it has been as much pleasure to drive as the previous one. Both were 2.0L turbos, 4WD. I am in Canada, and it performs well, especially in winter, with winter tires of course. The ride is stiff but responsive. Comfort is great in the front. Consider this a two-seater unless you are only putting young kids or people you dislike in the cramped, unheated rear seats. Everything about driving this car is a joy. The acceleration, the handling, the sound system, the brakes, I could go on. Everything about the CUE system is of course abysmal. The design, the reliability, the fact that every once in a while it comes up with a nag screen reminding you to keep your eyes on the road, which you have to take your eyes off the road to dismiss. I bought the 2015 with a broken screen, knowing that I could replace it myself for 1/10th of what the dealer was charging, as I had to do this with my SRX - twice! Both side mirrors have failed and are now secured with epoxy. You would think that a company that has been around for 100 years or so would know how to make side mirrors? But I know that they also don't know how to make headlights, because (as already mentioned) I also own an SRX. If you can put up with the annoyances (which I can), this is a great car.

2024 Cadillac XT5 review
3rd XT5 have had no issues with '19 & '21. Current our '24 is experiencing automatic braking and cruise control issues. The vehicle is in the shop to be fixed. This issue has caused crashes. Our experience was shocking with the system slamming on the brakes while moving. Ido hope Cadillac gets this issue corrected. We are very apprehensive when driving and will be since this occured.

Got the XT5 Sport from Paul Conte Cadillac in Freeport, great dealership & great car. has nice power and handles well. reminds me of GMC Acadia Denali I used to have. drove the loaner 26 model for a couple of days, and it has much better electronics + heads up display.

Words cannot express how awesome the customer service of this dealership is! And I never imagined in my life that I would say that about a dealership. I submitted an inquiry through the CarGurus app and almost instantly got a text message with a video of Donna holding a sign with my name and introducing herself and letting me she was available to answer any questions. Very shortly after Brandon sent me a text letting me know he was available for any questions I might have. Unprompted, he personally created a walk around video of the vehicle I was interested in along with a link to a fact sheet about the car itself. That alone was incredible to me. Then I asked about a vehicle inspection report and Carfax report. He texted me copies of them almost immediately as well as the original window sticker. We set up a day and time for me to come in to look at it and test drive. On my way there I got a text from Brandon letting me know he had the vehicle all ready for me when I got there. When I arrived he was sitting right inside the door waiting for me. Talk about service! When it came time to talk numbers there was absolutely no hassle! They had even dropped the price before I got there unbeknownst to me but offered at the lower price without me even knowing they lowered it! They didn’t try to add all kinds of extra fees or anything. They gave me all the information I asked for and were very transparent with all the numbers. And while I walked in there already preapproved for financing with a very competitive APR, they were able to beat it! The vehicle I bought from them was a used Chevy. And I am probably furthest away from being a “Ford” guy. But honestly, I think the next time I’m looking for a new vehicle it will probably be a Ford from this dealership! It was a truly pleasant experience! I highly recommend!
2019 Cadillac XT5 review
The XT5 has met all of our expectations in handling, performance and comfort. The 3.6 engine has excellent mileage and power. Interior is very comfortable and stylish. The XT5 appearance does distinguish itself from a lot of SUV's out there. I bought vehicle from a lease return and it looks like it belongs on the show room floor

2017 Cadillac Escalade review
I have owned Mercedes GLS, Lincoln Navigator, Infiniti QX80, and now Escalade ESV. The Escalade has been my favorite. I now have 120,000 miles on it and have only had to replace shocks. Electronics work beautifully, it is unbelievably comfortable, and there is nothing like the looks of an Escalade! My only complaint is the well-known 1st to 2nd gear occasional kick from the transmission. Dealer has looked at it multiple times (flushed & reprogrammed) with not much luck. 2WD most of the time and throw it into Auto 4WD when Ohio winters hit and this thing eats snow and grabs the road like you wouldn’t believe. Have never even switched it to 4High or 4Lo. Well done, Cadillac!

Walser Buick GMC Roseville review
My wife and I came in to look at two vehicles. We were surprised that the General Manager was the one to greet us while I was looking under the first vehicle. Steve was very polite and introduced himself and asked what they could do to help. We had a short conversation and then he grabbed a sales associate, Nick, and both were very accommodating and patient with our inquiries about the used vehicles. They provided hard copies of everything from the Carfax to their own vehicle inspection report for us to review. They were also accommodating while we left to discuss and then came back to have an offsite third-party pre-purchase inspection done on one of the vehicles. We came back with no real issues and closed the sale. We were even the last ones out the door a few minutes after hours. Both Steve and Nick were both there to see us off in our new, to us at least, vehicle. Would defiantly not hesitate to look at Walser again as the service earned my repeat business.
2020 Cadillac CT5 review
This suv is exactly what I was looking for. It has a great exterior and interior appearance. The ride is smooth and very comfortable. The features of this vehicle are just what I wanted.

2013 Cadillac CTS-V review
I have owned my 2013 CTS-V sedan since new and have 63k miles on it. It is a pure joy to drive ,fast ,handles great, looks fantastic,etc. Gas mileage is not great around town but over 20 mpg on highway. Very reilable, new brakes at 60k and then just normal routine maintenance. I live in New Jersey and Florida - V never gets driven in snow and am on my 4th set of tires but what the xxxx it does 0-60 sub 4 seconds has 4 doors !!! I can afford to buy a lot of hot new cars but this car is such a hoot to drive I will keep forever.

2012 Cadillac CTS review
I financed the 2012 cts4 luxury pkg in early 2021 with 50k miles on it with one previous owner and have just recently paid it off and now have fully owned this for about 6 months. This is my first vehicle, so while I have nothing to compare it to in terms of previous cars I’ve owned, I still must say this car has been absolutely amazing for me. Compared to other cars I’ve driven, including a few BMWs, Benz, etc. this one has truthfully been my favorite. The very first thing I noticed when test driving it was how insanely smooth this ride was. I was honestly blown away because I have never driven a car with this smooth of a ride. To add to this, I personally love the style. My personal vehicle is the black raven exterior with a beige interior. There is also the polished wood on doors and dash which I love. The only thing I have added to this car was the Apple CarPlay boss radio, which for me is a necessity as I can’t live without my own playlists and easy navigation. I feel like this also helped to modernize the car a bit since I do have am older model (2012). The biggest problem I had with it so far was a fuse under the hood controlling the fan which was literally a 5 min fix and costed me $60. Have not had a single problem since this fix. I have driven it about 20k miles now for about 18 months and am currently around the 70k mile range. Hopefully as there is more wear and tear it can give the same reliability and performance that I have enjoyed up to this point. Other than that, beautiful sunroof, decent amount of space in the cabin, large trunk, good acceleration, nice HP for a vehicle with no after market performance enhancers considering this car is around 300hp stock and a nice V6 engine. As I was rating this car, I was genuinely trying to think of something more constructive criticism towards it, but I truthfully have rated this vehicle to the best of my ability. Keep in mind this is from 50k-70k miles so far and this is the 2012 vehicle being rated in 2022. One last thing I would like to add considering the gas crisis that is going on as of now, this car has good mpg which is around 20 with an 18 gallon tank. Once the low fuel alert comes on, you still have about 50 miles before gas is really in dire need. Overall, really love this vehicle and I hope that this review helps.
