2020 Cadillac Escalade ESV review
Excellent mechanical upgrade from earlier series. Handles like a vehicle half its size with great transmission and suspension. Great ride quality and overall handling. Reliable thus far - 40K miles on it with one issue needed warranty replacement (starter motor). Unfortunately, the vehicle's overall ownership experience is marred by their utterly terrible CUE system. it is called "Cadillac User Experience" when it should be called "Cadillac User Exasperation". The system and touchscreen are about a clumsy as you can get - seems as if they were designed by engineers who never actually used their own creation. The CUE fails on several levels - the touch screen is overly sensitive and non-responsive at the same time (yes, we did run the "calibrate" function several times..did not help). Second, the system fails the "reasonable user test"; you cannot fully use front/rear controls, traffic controls, vehicle controls without referring continuously to the manual (there is a separate one for CUE - a real joke). Basic functions work ok..once you try to do something slightly non-stardard whoa be unto you.... Third, the navigation system is frozen in the mid 2010's....the traffic calculation for trip time is plain wrong (yes, the XM traffic information source is connected)....this is supposed to be a top-of-the line Cadillac in 2020!! to hire someone from Audi/BMW or somewhere else to show you how to do it...simply inexcusable for a "best effort" vehicle from GM in 2020 model year, let alone 2023! Lastly, the front seats have more adjustments/controls than you can count, yet the seat are uncomfortable over long distances - (yes, a separate indecipherable manual!)...also with the seats, the heat/cooling ventilation is less effective the the first Escalade we owned (a 2007 model)....way to go Cadillac. A very good vehicle that should be MUCH better given its cost and supposed statement of the BEST that GM can do for its vehicle type...FYI..we did have the premium version...

2023 Cadillac Escalade review
i purchased my Cadillac Escalade from Pepe Motors this year. The price and trade in value was better than any other company. Besides this point, they had the vehicle for me that I wanted. This vehicle not only performs better than any other SUV that I have own, it has all the updated features, technology and style than every other SUV in the market. We moved to Livonia a few months ago, and when it was time for service on my CRV, I wanted to find an honest Honda dealer--one that wouldn't tack on unnecessary services like a previous dealership did or take advantage of my lack of knowledge about cars. I was impressed with Suburban Honda of Farmington Hills from the start. When I discovered I had a scheduling conflict, Sandra (the employee who handles appointments) quickly accommodated me by finding a time later the same day. She was friendly and helpful. Bob Spurgeon, the director who was in charge of my service, was professional and polite. I explained to him that I wanted just an oil change and tires rotated, and that is exactly what was done, with no attempts to tack on any other services or superfluous charges that my husband and I have encountered in some places. Mr. Spurgeon seated us in his office to complete the work order and conversed with us in an amiable way before he showed us to the waiting room. We had been told that the entire appointment might take 1-1/2 hours, which includes a car wash, but it took just a little over a half hour for them to finish the work. The bill matched the estimate we had been given, with no suggestion that any "problems" exist that need attention. The only suggestion I could make is for the person who changes the oil to ask whether or not the owner wants the Oil % indicator to remain on the dash rather than be eliminated. I had to call the dealership later to find out how to shut it off. I didn't want that big Oil Can image to stay on the screen, but I couldn't find clear directions on how to delete it. They did offer to do it for me the next time I am near the dealership if I had any problem with the directions. (I am an elderly female.) At this point, I highly recommend this dealership for the friendly, professional way the employees treat the customer and the efficient way they do the work. We weren't sure where to find a good, honest dealership in this area, but from all indications, I think Suburban Honda is one that is fair and shows personal interest in the customer.

2024 Cadillac XT5 review
3rd XT5 have had no issues with '19 & '21. Current our '24 is experiencing automatic braking and cruise control issues. The vehicle is in the shop to be fixed. This issue has caused crashes. Our experience was shocking with the system slamming on the brakes while moving. Ido hope Cadillac gets this issue corrected. We are very apprehensive when driving and will be since this occured.

2020 Cadillac XT5 review
I purchased the 2020 Cadillac XT5 midsize crossover based on the stylish looks, comfortable ride and optional V6 engine which takes regular gas. The panoramic sunroof, electronic precision shifter and interior design adds to the overall driving experience. The ride is good, but there is more road noise than expected probably due to no under carriage engine shield which makes the cabin not as isolated as it could be. Also there should be as standard equipment a rear mirror camera due to poor visibility. It appears many used Cadillac XT5 have some minor rear damage when checking the Carfax report.

2023 Cadillac Escalade review
Test drove several models and found that the Platinum Luxury model was fitting for me since I didn't like the sport models all blacked out. The 2023 model is very classy looking yet gives you the presidential feel from the inside. Worth the money to see it turns heads!

2019 Cadillac XT5 review
The XT5 has met all of our expectations in handling, performance and comfort. The 3.6 engine has excellent mileage and power. Interior is very comfortable and stylish. The XT5 appearance does distinguish itself from a lot of SUV's out there. I bought vehicle from a lease return and it looks like it belongs on the show room floor

2020 Cadillac Escalade review
So far a really nice SUV. I just feel like with the price on Escalades, they missed on the interior design. You can really get on the gas when driving but the takeoff is really heavy. It almost feels really slow. Not sure on the idle but not as smooth as I would like. But it looks great! This SUV is a head turner and will standout. Just don't be afraid to spend money if you need to. Luxury SUVs are like women. They need money and love. Give them that and they will be around for a while.

2020 Cadillac XT5 review
Got a 2023 identical to this 3 weeks ago. Bought it for retirement road travel. Have had 2 SRXs before. Traded in a sweet 2016 ATS Performance coupe reluctantly. No regrets. Electronics are outstanding. Handles better than the SRX. As peppy and nimble as the ATS. Always GM, never disappointed. Value, comfort, performance.

2023 Cadillac XT5 review
This is my second XT5. Had a 2017 and never had a problem. Just got my 2023 XT5 Sport, and wow, maybe too much power for a senior citizen, but I love it. A few changes from the 2017, but love the car. I put other vehicles like the Jeep or GMC as beasts, my XT5 is more like a cat, still get where I want to be with luxury.

2026 Cadillac Escalade review
This is my first Escalade and my wife and I love everything about this vehicle. We shopped other vehicles but decided on the Escalade and learning about the features and the ride quality. Just a very good, reliable, solid, powerful, and nicely styled vehicle. A little small on cargo, and electronics are OK, but not up with current trims with other companies. Have some Update error on downloads, but that's about it...15,000miles, still like new.

2024 Cadillac XT4 review
Having owned 1 srx and 2 xt5. Now an xt4, I think it is the most appealing. My loaded sport has all the luxury and safety features. I drive it in sport for kicks, and 2wd for economy. If you don't need cargo space but like the xt5, go for it! Enjoy!
