When I arrived at the dealership I was greeted by Jason Tate who was just finishing up with another customer. He was good and he was thorough. He was also probably juggling 3,4 customer at a time so there were some lulls and waits. Overall decent experience.
I did get the car I wanted but there was little budging on the price. Paid around $700-$1000 above the NADA suggested retail for the vehicle in excellent shape.
Also beware, their doc fee is $599. Around $200-$300 more than some of the other dealers I went to see. And there is no budging on that either. They were adament about that as well.
It appeared they had a very good inventory of vehicles and a wide variety of them too.
I worked with Jan from Carvana- she was able to explain to me the process, make sure I was comfortable with where it was at, was able to be reached and kept communication open. The pick up process went smoothly and I was able to sell my car without any glitches.
My situation is probably unique, but I filled out an online form requesting they help me look for a 2009 Honda Fit. I submitted it on Wednesday, heard from Jay (salesman extraordinaire!) that night, and then by Friday, drove home with the exact car I asked for. That goes to show that University Ford is willing to move fast to get you in the car you want. They're also diligent about checking email and online request forms, so for those of us who deal best in the "virtual world," that's a major plus. They made the entire buying process as straight forward and painless as possible. Just an all around positive experience. I highly recommend dropping in to see Jay and the rest of the team (it's a small operation, which is also a plus in my book). I will definitely recommend them to friends and use them again someday.
The best car buying experience I have ever had. Steve Lynn respected my budget, learned my needs and wants, and found me the perfect car which also was certified. PLUS Flow offers an additional limited warranty at no extra charge. Took the worry out of choosing a car. I am pleased with the entire experience. They will go out of their way to make sure you find the car you want and it meets your expectations before driving it home.
Needing to buy a van while a hurricane is heading our way, definitely had me starting out in the negative. I spoke with multiple dealerships & physically went to six others. The service Jayson provided was completely opposite of what we experienced with all of the others. He answered all of my questions, addressed any concerns and wasn't pushy or in my face. And anyone looking to buy a car/van knows how rare it is to not have a fast talking, in your face salesperson. I knew what I needed when I went in & he respected that & didn't try to put me in something else. The young lady that processed the paperwork for me was also very pleasant to work with. We WILL be heading back next summer to buy my teenage daughter her first car & she's already made it clear that she wants Jayson to be who she works with!
Kirt Michael was the salesman and he was kind, courteous, helpful and humorous! Charles M. was the guy who got us where we wanted to be for payments. They were both very understanding while I changed my mind 3 times about the car I wanted. I love my car! These gentlemen deserve a 10!!!!
Couldn't have been more pleased with the entire process of buying our new Traverse. I would highly recommend this dealership and all the folks involved in our purchasing process ~ best "customer service" ever, and that's very hard to find these days!!
We have purchased 3 automobiles from Terry Labonte since 2010. We have purchased the Oil change packages for every single oil change to all three, UP UNTIL THIS ONE, service that is. The last package deal ran out when we had it last serviced. i don't know if it made a difference for not having the package, but one thing we really enjoyed was the complimentary interior cleaning/vacuuming. It was not cleaned this time. Is this a service, only performed, if you have the service package? Having said that, it is always a pleasant experience having service performed at TLC.
I just purchased a 2019 Tahoe and couldn't be happier with my new SUV. Joel Adams made the entire car buying experience easy and completely seamless. He was very helpful throughout the entire process. I will buy all my future vehicles from Terry Labonte Chevrolet.
Had two of my cars worked on two different days, Dave Trout and William Butler were outstanding service consultants they took care of the repair process and kept me in the loop the whole time, the repairs were done in a timely manner and even had someone to take me from the dealership to my home and then back to the dealership when repairs were completed, I felt like I was there # 1 customer.
