2024 Ford Mustang review
I just purchased the 2024 rapid red turbo. I love the mode change and it has that great sound as you pull away from others. Great take off and smooth ride. The only negative and it is very slight-- it that it is difficult to change the temp, and my Sirus does not have all features. This is my 4th mustang, with my first being the very small box shape. Every model gets better

2024 Chevrolet Corvette review
I replaced my 2019 Grand Sport with this 2024 Stingray, and while I really liked the GS I like my Stingray even more. The most succinct summary I can present of the two cars is the C7 is a muscle car and the C8 is a sports car, and I prefer the latter.

2020 Chevrolet Corvette review
I bought a first year C8. Everyone warned me of failures. I replied it’s a Chevy, created with a lot of pride in Bowling Green KY USA. Worst case scenario it had and has GM extended warranty. To date with 27,000 miles only had problems with the front bumper, it had to be repainted three times. Did Museum delivery. We drove to Pahrump, did the school. Then drove Rte. 66 to Missouri then the Tail of the Dragon then home. It looks just as beautiful today as when we first saw it. To me I think the E-Ray is the best of all. Great horsepower, acceleration and gas mileage and no gas guzzler tax.

2025 Ford Mustang review
I’ve owned my Mustang EcoBoost Premium Convertible for a while now, and it completely shatters the old stereotype that a Mustang needs a V8 to be a "real" sports car. It is the perfect platform for someone who wants open-air fun without sacrificing premium comfort, daily drivability, or cutting-edge technology. The stock EcoBoost engine is already incredibly punchy, but the platform reacts beautifully to the right modifications. Adding the Ford Performance Calibration—which ups the output to a serious 350 horsepower and 402 lb-ft of torque—along with a Mishimoto intercooler completely wakes the car up. To be honest, this is exactly how the car should have come from the factory if Ford wasn't so worried about tuning it down just to keep it 87-octane compatible. Running it on premium fuel with this calibration gives you massive low-end torque, immediate throttle response around town, and a relentless pull on the highway. Opting for the Premium trim is a must. The interior materials are a massive step up, making the cabin feel like a high-end grand tourer. I am especially happy with the tech in this car. I absolutely love the giant digital screen layout. While some Mustang purists don't like it and prefer old-school physical gauges, I am someone who always embraces new technology. Sitting in the driver's seat makes me feel like I am in an airplane cockpit. Features like the active cruise control work excellently on longer drives. The only thing I wish Ford had included in this tech package is a Head-Up Display (HUD). Because it's a convertible, you do have to deal with open-air road noise, and while the factory B&O sound system is decent, to me it was really lacking—especially with the top down. Fortunately, the platform is incredibly rewarding if you like to customize, so I upgraded the factory audio to a custom, high-end 3-way active system while retaining the stock head unit. Now, even with the top down on the highway, the audio clarity is absolutely incredible. If you are looking for a sharp, tech-forward sports car that delivers genuine performance, upscale daily comfort, and a brilliant platform for subtle, high-quality upgrades, the EcoBoost Premium Convertible is tough to beat.

2023 Dodge Challenger review
Plenty of power. Plenty of style. Like the old coke bottle. Curves like a Woman. They are Sexy and also made to enjoy. Too bad the 2023 was the Last Call for the Scat Pack. One of the finest cars ever made. The one with the SRT Package with the leather interior is over the top.

2013 Dodge Challenger review
I received my 2013 R/T as a Christmas present in 2015. 1 owner before me put 6800 miles on it. You have to put 5000 miles on this car for the launch to kick in. I have maintained my car with regular synthetic oil changes and recommend dealer tuneups and with now having 89000 miles on it, it performs as it did when received. I have put 3sets of tires on it in 10 years. Very good car as I always wanted another Challenger. When I was 14 my future husband had a 1969/1970 challenger. It’s first year. We started with a 340 then changed engine out to a 440, then again to 426 Hemi. The 2013 Hemi is faster. Love my Challenger

2016 BMW 650 review
I wanted a year around convertible grand tourer with a back seat and a useable trunk that was fun and comfortable to drive. I looked for six months and having given up on other brands I finally turned to BMW. The 650xi always puts a smile on my face especially with the top down. Depending on your previous vehicle it may take some getting used to, however. It is "low rider" and while there are more seat controls than a pilots control panel, you may not find the right seating arrangement initially. The car is second nature to me now and very comfortable in every way. The more options your 650 has, the more you will continue to find new features continually. I purchased the car used and have had it for 18 months and appreciate it every time I drive it. It's good in the snow and l always feel safe in it. The convertible top is not as insulated from sound as I would like for highway driving but other than that I have no complaints. It is a satisfying vehicle.

2025 Toyota GR86 review
This car does exactly what it’s designed to do. It’s light, agile and excellent value for the money. That said, it wasn’t the car for me. Its biggest fault is the throttle response. I noticed that when I first test drove a GR86, but I thought I could adapt. I was wrong. It was too difficult to drive smoothly at slower speeds and even with a aftermarket throttle module, I still could not get it to drive smoothly. I’ve owned over a dozen manual sports cars over the past three decades, so I know how to drive. The last one was a track spec’d Corvette Grand Sport, which was an excellent driver. Don’t be turned off by this review, just make sure the drivability matches your tastes

2014 Chevrolet Corvette Stingray review
On December 10th, 2024, I purchased a red 2015 Corvette Stingray Convertible 3LT from Country Chevrolet in Warrenton, Virginia. I have purchased 26 new and used cars in my life, and I have to say this was by far the best buying experience I have ever had in my life. My first car was a new 1980 Corvette, and I evolved into planning for my last car to be a red corvette convertible. After much research, lots of shopping, and numerous test drives, I found this car listed on-line at Country Chevrolet at a listed price in the range I was looking for. I called and set up a test Drive for the wife and me. We drove up to the dealership and noticed one or two folks outside who immediately said hi, welcomed us to the dealership and went to get the salesman for our test drive. The environment at this dealership was more welcoming than any Chevy dealership I had ever been to. When Kirk Hughes, our sales consultant introduced himself, we could clearly see we had found at great person to work with. Kirk is friendly, professional, and an absolute expert in corvettes and cars in general. Kirk is by far one of the best salesmen I have ever met. I consider myself a car person, as I enjoy buying, selling and talking about cars. I also perform much of the simple maintenance tasks like changing fluids, brakes and normal maintenance items. Kirk is truly knowledgeable and an absolute pleasure to talk to. After being at the dealership for a bit, I bumped into Kevin Bearce, another sales consultant and person we knew. He is another unbelievable friendly professional and a true joy to talk to. With sales folks like Kirk and Kevin, I would recommend Country Chevrolet to any and everyone, as they clearly only hire the best of the best. Kirk had three surprise visits by existing customers during our time shopping, and Kevin jumped in without skipping a beat, to assist in what turned out to be our purchase of the corvette. The finance consultant, J. C. Welch, quickly assisted in finalizing the sale at a price I considered fair. He too was friendly and professional in all. My whole experience at Country Chevrolet was completely different than my previous experiences buying cars. The atmosphere and attitude of the people was friendly, upbeat and caring. This tells me that the management and ownership of this dealership sets high standards for their people, and the result is great buying experience for a customer like me. Exceptional customer service! I bought a truck the middle of this year and picked it up in the rain. When it finally dried out I noticed a cloudiness to the paint on what area. A few weeks ago I decided to have it looked at finally. I discovered a fairly significant issue with the paint when I took it to my detailer and then a paint guy. I emailed them clearly not expecting much to happen as it had been 6 months and they had no obligation to do anything about it. I was shocked when Tyler from their service department called me the next day to schedule a time for me to bring my truck in so they could fix the issue by re-paining the area at no charge. I showed up on my appointment day and he had a loaner car ready and I was in an out with no questions asked. He said they would get right on it, but to give them a few days to get it fixed. They called the next day for me to pick it up and it looked showroom new. It even had a full tank of gas and considering I have a 30 gallon tank that is extremely generous. 2021 Chevrolet Camaro review
Super v8 performance with the 6 speed manual. Great looking, and lot's of fun with the top down. Recommend to anyone at any age. Surprisingly comfortable on the road. Not great visibility with the top up and very little o back seat room or trunk room, but it's pretty easy to overlook those minor details. Would recommend everyone get the dual mode exhaust feature - you can change sound from sport (sounds like a race car) to touring (sounds like a buick v6). Took forever to get my 2023 (2022 order got canceled), but it was worth the wait. You'll get a lot of car for the price.

2019 Audi TTS review
I should give a little background of my perspective. I am a quazi-audiophile that listens to many styles of music but Jazz is my primary go to music. I like a car that's not too noisy/loud but has a nice more subdued exhaust note and suspension that's not overly firm. You might say I'm a sporty GT kind of guy. I've owned Mercedes and BMW coupes and have test driven Porsches, Jaguars, the Genesis G70, Infinitis, Hyundai Veloster N, Alfa Romeos, Vettes, the new Mazda MX-5, and of course the new BMWs & Mercedes. To my eye there's a simple yet sporty and sophisticated design ethos to the 2019 Audi TT Coupe. It's one of the more "timeless" designs on the market today and Audi has done a great job with it's current revision of the TT. THE INTERIOR: I think the interior became the benchmark in 2016 in its class by integrating Audi's Virtual Cockpit with an all digital display allowing full integration of Google maps and by incorporating the HVAC controls into the turbine style air vents. For 2019 Audi includes Audi's Phone Box that hides large cell phones, can connect with compatible phones automatically with NFC wireless connectivity and connects to Audi's car antennae to boost your phone's signal! The Bang and Olufsen 680 watt 12 speaker 14 Channel Sound System does a respectable and should satisfy most listeners with the exception of those who demand over accentuated bass. I'm 5'7" and stocky and found the cabin for a sports car to be relatively easy to ingress and egress. The steering wheel had a lot of extension to it and the although the seats in the S-Line Competition package opted TT were confortable, with my 250lb frame with thick football player thighs, I thought that anyone larger than me might feel the seat bottom bolsters just a little too snug but I didn't drive a TT without these sport seats. Everything was ergonomically good with 2 exceptions. 1. The 2nd cup holder was under the armrest which is not overly large to begin with and set a little further back than most. 2. I thing the back button location should be switched with the menu button so that your thumb can be used for the back button. It would be nice if Audi could do an optional glass roof like the one in the Mercedes SLC which uses a switch that disperses magnetic particles sandwiched between 2 layers of glass to let light in. The 22 cu. ft. of available luggage space with the rear seats down sets the TT apart from its direct competitors. The back seat is strictly for children or stowing things. RIDE & PERFORMANCE: The 2016 Audi TT Coupe reached 0-60 mph in 5.2 s and a lateral acceleration of .98 g in Car and Driver's testing. Using the newly introduced for 2019 7-speed dual clutch transmission, it wouldn't surprise me if the 0-60 mph time goes down. The car is very quick and accurate and although doesn't have the heft that "track people" probably prefer, I liked it very much and feel that most "luxury sporty car" drivers will like it too. I preferred the car in the individual mode with all settings in dynamic but the exhaust in and suspension both in comfort. With this set up, the car was sporty, quick enough for my taste, allowed me to enjoy my music, and not beat me up like a corvette. It feels and sounds more refined and sophisticated in this set up compared to a Porsche Cayman. I'm just not a fan of the current Cayman's 4 cyl. exhaust note. NIGHT DRIVING: With the TT's Quattro AWD, Jazz playing on the Bang & Olufsen audio system, the TT's individual settings set to my above liking, the soft white LED ambient light strips along the door panels and center stack, along with the soft white glow mood lighting in the foot wells, selecting the sport mode tachometer view with digital MPH in the center, created a wonderfully unique sophisticated night time test driving experience that I shall always remember. I think that's perhaps the highest praise that I can give the 2019 Audi TT with the S-Line Competition Package!

2023 Chevrolet Camaro review
I originally was looking at Corvette’s but couldn’t find one in stock at a reasonable price and wanted a convertible now. I found my NEW LT1 in Hot Red and I love it. At this point I’m glad I saved my money on the Vette and bought the Camaro. Just reached the 1,500 mile break in point so and I’m ready to find out what this car can do. I’m 71 years old and have had lots of cars including Corvettes’ but this is probably the most fun car I have ever owner.

2018 Mercedes-Benz AMG GT review
I have had weekend cars for some years now. Started with BMW M3 (E46 competition package), moved to Porsche 911 turbo (997.1 with 6-sp), then 2015 Nissan GTR (I truly enjoyed that car) and I am on the 2018 MB AMG GTR now. I drive them only during late Spring, Summer and store them from October to April. I keep them for 2-4 summers, then move on. MB AMG GTR is the next level. It is starting to encroach into exotic car territory. Lots of attention. It is a race focused machine and by far the most uncomfortable sport car I have owned so far. But that is a good thing. Engine is at the moment one of the best in the business. Sounds awesome. It is a tricky car to drive fast so one has to be a bit more careful when compared to Nissan GTR/Porsche 911 turbo or even Porsche 911 GT3. I had a rear light failure within the first 4k miles. Fixed under warranty. Entertainment system is a bit old. In general I would say this car is worth the money.
