Im 66 years old, know little to nothing about newer vehicles and how buying one works. When i say i messaged every dealership from Boerne to Austin, I did. I got so many texts from salesman and when I would discuss my needs and what I wanted, they always turned it around like they new what I needed more. Then I got a message from Bill Wyman in the Used car sales at Red Mccombs Superior Hyundai. i started sending him pictures of cars on his lot, things I saw on the website, he checked out everyone and gave me info on each one. I was trying to buy within a budget I had created for myself. The very next day he found a SUV on the lot that checked all my boxes. It fell into my budget, it was comfortable, and beautiful, couldnt find a reason to say NO! Bill Wyman was so patient with this old lady. He did a great job. I would never recommend anyone other than him for a car. He was kind and even called the next day to make sure I got everything setup and to see if I needed anything. 2023 Volvo C40 Recharge Pure Electric review
I’ve owned my 2023 Volvo C40 Recharge Ultimate for about a month now, and it’s been nothing short of impressive. The design immediately stands out with a modern, sculpted look that feels unique on the road. Mine is in Thunder Grey with the Fjord Blue interior, and the combo turns heads everywhere. Performance-wise, it’s quick and quiet with instant torque that makes merging and city driving effortless. The one-pedal drive is smooth once you get used to it, and the all-wheel drive gives me confidence in any weather. Inside, the cabin feels luxurious yet understated. The Fjord Blue interior with backlit panels creates a calm, high-end atmosphere. Google built-in is convenient, though it can lag at times. The Harman Kardon sound system is crisp and full, and the panoramic glass roof makes the cabin feel bright and open. For now, I charge at Tesla Superchargers for convenience. A charger was actually installed in my high-rise the day after I bought the car, but it’s not operable yet. I’m looking forward to using it once it’s active. The range has been consistent in real-world use, and I appreciate Volvo’s focus on sustainability without sacrificing comfort or performance. If I had to nitpick, I’d say some software features could be more refined, and visibility through the rear window is limited, but the 360° camera helps a lot. I installed a digital rearview mirror through the Volvo dealer where I purchased my car. Overall, the C40 Recharge feels like a personal luxury cocoon. It’s quiet, confident, and thoughtfully designed. It’s a car that makes me look forward to driving every day.

2020 Tesla Model 3 review
I purchased my 2020 Model 3 with 55k miles on it in 2026. The battery test showed that the batteries were in good health with over 80% of their original capacity still available. Both the interior and exterior had held up well. At the price for the used car, it is an incredible value. I'll save over half of the car payment on gas by charging at home. I love the minimalist look of the interior. At first, I thought the touch screen would be hard to use while driving, but with the buttons on the steering wheel and the temperature controls always present, it's very simple to operate while driving. The driver profiles that save your settings per driver are what makes the car so easy to love for me. My wife is a foot shorter than me. Having the mirrors, seat and steering wheel adjusted when I sit down are great. Also the bluetooth preference as well as all of the other car settings are saved to each of our profile, radio stations, driving dynamics, etc. The car is very sporty, especially for the money. It is much more sporty and fun to drive than anything else I have ever owned, including a Mini Cooper convertible. It will not best many cars you could compare it to, but it is also so much cheaper to purchase, and then maintain after the purchase that it wins in my book.

I initially shopped at Sewell Cadillac, but they were extremely greedy and unwilling to work with me. That’s when I called Martin Vara at Cavender. From the very first conversation, Martin told me Cavender would give me a deal I couldn’t refuse without seeing any other offers—and he absolutely overdelivered. At this point I knew this was my dealership. I didn’t need to go back and forth and shop around because Cavender put their best foot forward from the very beginning. Martin coordinated everything seamlessly. I spoke with the Sales Manager over the phone, we agreed on numbers quickly, and they immediately removed the vehicle from inventory. While I completed my credit application and paperwork online, they had the LYRIQ prepped and ready to go. Martin called to let me know everything was approved and ready for pickup. When I arrived at the dealership, the Cadillac facility was beautiful, and everyone was welcoming and professional. Within five minutes, I met the Sales Manager—super friendly, knowledgeable, and genuinely great to work with. Any last-minute questions were answered clearly and honestly. While I was signing paperwork, Martin took the time to walk my wife through the LYRIQ, explaining all the features and giving her a full introduction to the vehicle. There were zero surprises—the numbers were exactly what we agreed on. From start to finish, I was in and out in about 40 minutes. That’s unheard of these days. 2025 Cadillac Escalade IQ review
Very responsive and comfortable car. You feel on top of the world. The features are great. The car rides as if it knows what you want to do. The massage chair is so worth it when you are in traffic or have long commute. This car is made for people who enjoy luxury but don’t want to pay for the high gas.

Just had the car for a month. It's much like its predecessor, the bz4x but gets better range, at 90% from 230 to 275. It rides smoothly and a bit less noisy than the 4x. I'm very happy with it.

My first EV car. Not sure if I love this car or the fact that it is an EV. What makes this a bit different from a Tesla is that it still reminds you of a regular car in terms of gear shifting controls and displays. My car is a premium trim, dual motor and long range battery extension, so if you get a lower trim, the experience might be slightly different.

2027 Chevrolet Bolt review
Great car for the money, it is my 3rd bolt and this one is the best I’ve had, although I didn’t have any problems with the other ones this one drives and rides better. It could use more sound deadening because there is a lot of road noise, other than that it’s a great car. I have the RS and I love it, I can’t understand why GM is going to quit making it!

2024 Hyundai IONIQ 5 review
I've had my Ioniq 5 for almost 10 months. I chose to lease the car because 1) the EV technology is changing so quickly and 2) to make sure an EV was the right vehicle for me. So far, I've been very pleased with almost everything about the car. At an 80 percent charge, I get 270 miles consistently. The car came with free charging at Electrify America charging stations, but I've yet to use one as I charge at home which costs me virtually nothing as I have a solar panel array that provides plenty of energy for my home and car. The ride, for the most part, is comfortable (the seats could be a little more comfortable). There are plenty of features that I appreciate (all of the warning sensors come in handy, the voice system is good and Bluelink works well). The only downside (for me) is that I got the standard long range edition which gets in excess of 300 miles on a full charge but is missing some of the more refined options (mirrors that fold in when parked, power lift gate, driver seat memory, etc.) If I had to do this again, I would have gone with the next model up. My lease will be up in March of 2026, and unless there is something that I think is better in the EV space, I'll be leasing another Ioniq 5.

Better range than expected. Very comfortable and rides smoothly. More reliable than my previous EV (VW ID4). Roomy interior with nice features including a very good and customizable display. Only complaints are lack of spare tire and low speed noise. Price was very competitive.

2026 Toyota bZ review
Toyota decided to get serious with their electric compact suv over their earlier version. Lowered the price making it competitive with all others in this class. Also making it now competitive is the increase in driving range, the XLE AWD model gets a significant boost with a 288 mile range. In addition the horsepower on the XLE AWD increased to 338 providing 0-60 in the middle 4 second range… that’s head snapping power. Also, major improvements were addressed to the charging system… now able to charge significantly faster and it comes using the NACS (North American Charging Standard) outlet connection for faster charging ( (originally called the Tesla charging connection). I personally enjoy driving the bZ around town but also on major roads. It runs quietly as an electric should but also isolates road noise. The instrument panel is different but coming from driving my plug in hybrid Prius Prime I’m used to different. I trust Toyota overall quality over all other manufacturers whether the vehicle is a traditional combustible gas engine or now electric.

2024 Nissan ARIYA review
Admittedly, have not had this vehicle for very long, but I am very impressed. And I am difficult to impress. Previous vehicle was an ‘18 RAM 1500 with V8 Hemi. It was fun, powerful, loud, and I enjoyed sitting up high. Two weeks in the Ariya, and I don’t miss it. I have the AWD version, and this thing moves at the frequency I think. I mean, you see a space in traffic you want to get to, check blind spots and BAM, you’re there. Handling is crisp and tight, remaining so at highway speeds. Bumps handled like a luxury mobile of 2X the cost. Cabin is quiet, spacious, and does not feel cheap. Tons of features, power everything. Screen bootup is rapid and has my tunes going by the time I’m buckled in and have my glasses switched to my sunglasses. Heads up display tells everything I need, and well positioned. Charging so far has not been an issue in the least. Installed a ChargePoint charger in my garage, and it’s easily setup and controlled through their app, so it charges on schedule according to my utility provider’s preferred charge time, giving me a break on the electricity used to charge it. All told, I’ve spent $6 over 2 weeks and 500 miles. Truck would have cost me a tank, or 30 gallons of gas for same distance.

2025 Kia Niro EV review
This car replaced a 2010 Hyundai that was beginning to give me trouble. I decided to lease it - my first 100% EV - and installed a charger in my garage. So far I am totally delighted with the car - its finish, its drivability, and its performance. It is nimble and when I step hard on the accelerator (what we used to call the "gas pedal") it leaps forward like a startled bunny. To be sure there are lots of differences from the traditional gas-powered cars I have driven all of my life. It is really quiet, which sometimes is a little deceiving because it is actually working. The quiet and the different feedback signals that provides to the driver will take some time to get used to. Also, there are so many options -- many of them hidden several clicks from the top of the home screen -- that are still a mystery to me. (As usual, the owner's manual is almost impossible to use -- I have relied on asking ChatGPT for guidance). "What is that button for?" "How do I make it so the radio doesn't turn on every time I get in the car?" "Where is cruise control?" "How do I turn off the seat heaters?" -- the list is endless and I'm counting on slowly learning how all of it works. Overall, after a month of driving the car I couldn't be happier. It will be an "in town" vehicle -- the range isn't suitable for much inter-city driving -- but I love how smooth and competent the car feels. The finishes inside and out are great; seats comfortable and insanely easy to adjust; sight lines fine. It's a great introduction to the work of EVs.

My favorate vehicle i have ever owned. Dont pay attention to unfounded comments by EV haters. If you use your vehicle mainly in a 250 mile radius this truck is perfect. I charge at home once a week. If you typically take long trips, it may not be for you. Front truck is invaluable. I have 11000 miles, and have saved close to $2000 already over a F150 ICE version.
