Love this vehicle!! Went from 2013 Chevy Malibu to this 2019 fully loaded Ford Explorer. Love the navigation, hands free phone, auto bright lights and Windsheild washer, remote start, sun roofs, back up camera, luggage racks, hitch andtowing capabilities, 3rd row seating and stowing, the Ford app, the Ford warranty, leather heated seats and steering wheel, and all the safety and other luxury accessories.

2016 Ford Explorer review
2016 Platinum. Nice SUV, comfortable, very powerful, decent fuel economy, fair build quality, but there are some things to be aware of; the AWD models have a PTU (power transfer unit) which sends power to the rear wheels. It is positioned very close to the exhaust, and the heat generated by the turbochargers literally cooks the gear oil in the PTU, causing it to fail. The unit only holds about a quart of oil, and is NOT serviced or checked, even when you have the vehicle serviced at the dealer. We had trouble with the front camera, and the recirculation actuator on the climate control. If you are considering a used Explorer, I highly recommend buying the best warranty you can! The only complaint I have is the road noise. On new pavement, it's quiet, but on all other roads it's VERY loud inside!

I called, test drove the car on Wednesday. Thursday was thanksgiving. I got a call, text and a email. Letting me know that I can come get my car. Jimmy white took care of me. I test drove it on my break from work. When I walked, 5 or 10 minutes later I was taking on what I felt was my new car. The CLA Mercedes Benz, 2014 looked just like the photos online and drove even better. The process was super smooth. I pulled over to complete the loan info. When I returned to the dealership, I told Jimmy that I put the application in for the car. That evening I received an email saying a lender has pulled my info. The following working day. I was driving off the lot in less than a hour from the time I arrived. Great job Jimmy and Royal Oak Ford!

2022 Ford Explorer review
I love this vehicle. My 2022 Ford Explorer XLT far exceeds my expectations. Handling is great. Performance is far better than expected. Gas mileage is 26mpg combined average for the 16,500 miles I have on the vehicle so far. The interior fit and finish could be better and the original tires...not holding up very well. The vehicle is comfortable and always a pleasure to drive. I always get compliments on the exterior style. In my opinion, it's one of the better looking SUV's on the road. The rear biased drive train give it superior handling, better than anything I test drove. Chevy, Subaru, or the Kia.

2020 Ford Explorer review
Wife's car ,working at home not many miles low 20k as of2024 June. Still I wonder about trans fluid because of time. Problem that bugs me is the radio. Well this was my first time ever really experiencing when it came to buying my first car really, and I would really recommend anyone in the area that I know to try see for themselves for how welcoming the experience was and how both understanding, and no bull corners everyone working there that I had experience both meeting and talked to. One of which whom goes by the name of Mark T. O'Bryant whom handled getting the amazing Bronco Sport that I wasn't as sure at first about getting but quickly grew on me the more I got behind the wheel, he made both understanding things about the car and the entire process from sales to how he handled himself to be both hugely refreshing and that it felt it made the whole process feel less nervous as the day rolled on. I would indeed recommend having someone as kind and professional such as him when looking for another car from the this dealership I would do it all over again there, no doubt about.

2018 Ford Explorer review
This is my fourth Explorer. I decided in 2018 to order the top-of-the-line Platinum. This vehicle has all the bells and whistles for a person that wants the luxury of one of Fords top models. It has Platinum leather seats that are very comfortable. If you can find today, buy it. It has the 3.5L V6 that has great power on acceleration. You can only buy a V6 now on the 2025 Explorer ST which is a 3.0L. The cost is around $60,000 Loaded.

2017 Ford Explorer review
Bought this car in 2019 as my daily driver. It has enough space to transport my large and was very reliable until about 160,000 miles. Gasket seal and O2 sensors failed causing me $800 in repairs. Not super expensive, but like the previous review says check to see if there are any open recalls. Currently at 230,000 miles and still driving. If you follow the suggested maintenance schedule you'll be fine. If not, you'll be in for some trouble.
