Dan Gordon got my Jeep in and out in a day. (I had some engine shuttering concerns). Smoothest experience, prices were fair and I trusted their opinion. Clear and concise communication.

Have only had vehicle for 3 weeks but really like it. I’ve had F150’s for the past 12 years and thought I’d miss my truck, but I’m really enjoying this explorer. It’s more comfortable and fun to drive and the gas mileage is better.

Hendrick BMW review
I had visited about 2 weeks ago to look for good deal and the Gentleman who was assisting me was extremely helpful. Very professional and knowledgeable about BMWs. Showed me some options, but the wife could not make a decision on a certified pre owned or a new simpler model. Since we couldn't reach an agreement we decided to wait some more time and think about our choice. I will definitely go back to Hendricks certified pre-owned and look for Jerran, Jerrand. I think was his name. He was great.

Highly recommend Mark Ficken Ford! We just purchased a beautiful 2026 Ford Explorer and couldn?t be happier with the experience. From start to finish, we received the best hospitality of any dealership we?ve ever visited. They were fair, generous with our budget, and truly made the process enjoyable. Special thanks to our manager Ervin Jaimes and Ashton Jones, who provided an outstanding visit and made everything seamless. If you?re looking for a great buying experience, this is the place! You will be treated very well. ~ Alan and Gina

For a new or used car purchase, I would invite customers to ask for Mr. James Brown in sales. He is both knowledgeable about the product, clear about the transaction, mature and able to help you avoid the usual *noise* you find at most other dealerships. We were able to make a good deal on our new car with Mr. Brown’s expert assistance.

2018 Ford Explorer review
This is my fourth Explorer. I decided in 2018 to order the top-of-the-line Platinum. This vehicle has all the bells and whistles for a person that wants the luxury of one of Fords top models. It has Platinum leather seats that are very comfortable. If you can find today, buy it. It has the 3.5L V6 that has great power on acceleration. You can only buy a V6 now on the 2025 Explorer ST which is a 3.0L. The cost is around $60,000 Loaded.

We were interested in a vehicle at CarMax about 275 miles from where we live. We paid to have the car delivered to the location near us. There was nothing specific that the CarMax dealer did other than be sure the car was moved as quickly as possible. We did not visit the location where the car was being offered and the car was not delivered to our home.
2022 Ford Explorer review
I have a 2022 Ford Explorer King Ranch, and I purchased it 13 months ago; this vehicle looks brand new and it is extremely comfortable, stylish, and reliable. I am so glad I purchased this vehicle. I will be sure to remain on top of the recommended maintenance schedule through authorized Ford Service Departments. Make sure you use a collapsable windshield cover to keep direct sunlight off of your dashboard when parked, which in some extreme cases, can make the leather warp or buckle; this is not just associated with Ford, but all automobile manufacturers that have real leather dashboards ~ especially when in super warm climates.

2022 Ford Explorer review
I purchased the 2022 Timberline preowned about 1 month ago with appx 50k miles on it. I was disappointed that it does not have memory seats or a garage door remote button. (I didn't even notice this when test driving it). Who makes a car today with all the tech this car has and leaves off these 2 things! The interior is comfortable & well laid out. The ride is smooth & quiet. 2.3L turbo 4 cylinder is quiet & has amazing power. At idle it’s hard to tell that the engine is even running. The prior owner put on Michelin tires which contribute to the smooth, quiet ride. The seats are ActiveX (Ford’s name for vinyl) with cloth inserts. I’m 5’ 10” and 175lbs. My son who rode with me is 6’ 3” and 250lbs. Both of us found the seats comfortable & supportive on our 1st road trip. I’ve driven a Kia Telluride, which is a direct competitor. The Kia has a little more tech but I found the ride to be on the harsh side, especially in the second row. This may be attributable to the low profile 21” tires. The Timberline has 18” balloon tires which I much prefer. 2 weeks after purchasing it I made a 2,200-mile road trip from Dallas TX to Orgon. Fuel mileage ranged from 21 to 28 with an overall average of 24 mpg. *if I don’t drive over 70 mph on the highway the fuel economy goes up to about 32! *these numbers are from the actual miles & gallons of fuel used, not from the dash numbers, which I found are a little optimistic. It has a few bugs that I’ll have to deal with, but it’s a used Ford & not a Lexus. Overall, I'd say I'm very happy with this car & would recommend it.

Journey Auto Sales review
I have been dealing with Journey Auto Sales since 2011 and Scott and his team have always been very helpful and accommodating. I've always had a great experience and today was no different. Ryan Geelen was not only very kind and very professional, he worked quickly. From the time I arrived to the time my purchase was completed, barely an hour had passed. He explained everything thoroughly and it was a real pleasure working with him today. In short, if you need a car, go to Journey Auto Sales on Albemarle Rd! The best place in Charlotte to buy a car!
2016 Ford Explorer review
2016 Platinum. Nice SUV, comfortable, very powerful, decent fuel economy, fair build quality, but there are some things to be aware of; the AWD models have a PTU (power transfer unit) which sends power to the rear wheels. It is positioned very close to the exhaust, and the heat generated by the turbochargers literally cooks the gear oil in the PTU, causing it to fail. The unit only holds about a quart of oil, and is NOT serviced or checked, even when you have the vehicle serviced at the dealer. We had trouble with the front camera, and the recirculation actuator on the climate control. If you are considering a used Explorer, I highly recommend buying the best warranty you can! The only complaint I have is the road noise. On new pavement, it's quiet, but on all other roads it's VERY loud inside!

2021 Ford Explorer review
I often drive to the Michigan upper pennisula in the winter. This SUV has never disappointed me. One time I was driving up to Sault Ste Marie early in the morning. The road was slippery with blowing snow. The outside air temp was MINUS 41. i was alone with hardly ever seeing another vehicle. I kept thinking "trust this vehicle" because my life literally depended on it. I had no problems. And everything was on high - the defroster, rear defrost, heated steering wheel, heated seat, radio and keeping my phone charger plugged in. And in case you wonder why I would venture out in these conditions - I was called for jury duty and made it on time !! It has also gotten me out of deep snow.

Rick Hendrick City ChevroletReviews
Rick Hendrick City Chevrolet review
I went in expecting the usual dealership runaround, and walked out with a Jeep Wagoneer and a huge smile. From the moment I walked in, the team treated me like a person, not a quota. No pressure, no games, just honest answers and real respect for my time. Jacob Moldovan took the time to walk me through the Wagoneer's features: the spacious three-row interior, the towing capability, the tech package, and the smooth, quiet ride. They let me take a long test drive and never rushed me. When I had questions about trims and options, they gave straight answers. The pricing was transparent from start to finish. What we discussed was what I paid, with no surprise fees at signing. Mateus De Azevero, Lukas Pantus, and the finance team were just as great, explaining everything clearly and finding a rate that worked for me. The whole process took far less time than I expected. The Wagoneer was detailed and ready to go, with a full tank, and they were great the whole time. If you're looking for any vehicle, I can't recommend Rick Hendrick City Chevrolet enough. Five stars all the way!

Mark Ficken Ford LincolnReviews
Mark Ficken Ford Lincoln review
This was the easiest new car buy I've ever had. I bought a 2026 F150 Lobo and had them install a Whipple supercharger. They took care of everything. Nick my salesman and Hunter were easy to work with and made things move smoothly. Nick went above and beyond in this purchase. I have recommended them to all my friends and now on here. You can't find a better dealer than Mark Ficken Ford.
2025 Ford Explorer review
I purchased a 2025 Ford Explorer Platinum with the 3.0 liter 6 cyclinder. The car has lots of power and drives well. It has lots of acceleration and easily pulls a 5000 lb trailer. Things I like about the car: 1. Heated and cooled front massage seats. On a long drive the massage seats are fabulous! 2. Very good radio/sound system 3. Wireless Apple/Android connectivity 4. Lots of cargo space What I dislike: 1. Gas mileage between 19-22 mpg 2. Lane departure system annoying 3. Had a rattle noise in the front of the car at 9000 miles that the dealer could not find. At 11,000 miles, the rattle mysteriously went away. No idea what is going on here. 4. Sometimes when I open the rear hatch, the chime sounds loudly, The next time it does not sound at all. Wish I could just turn it off. ??

Town & Country FordReviews
Town & Country Ford review
My fiancé and I had one of the most pleasant car shopping experiences we have ever had. When we first arrived on the lot, no one raced to get to us, which gave us ample opportunity to look around (neither of us do well under high sales pressure). Once we were set on looking at a particular vehicle Edoardo met us outside and we all hit it off immediately. We test drove a 2025 Ford Explorer platinum and through the negotiations and dealings with the team and Eduardo we were able to take the beautiful SUV home. Eduardo and the whole team at town and country Ford of Charlotte went above and beyond and for that, we are happy Ford customers!
2023 Ford Explorer review
I have a 2023 Ford Explorer Platinum, and I purchased it 7 months ago; this vehicle looks brand new and it is extremely comfortable, stylish, and reliable. I am so glad I purchased this vehicle. I will be sure to remain on top of the recommended maintenance schedule through authorized Ford Service Departments. Make sure you use a sun blocker to keep direct sunlight off of your dashboard when parked, which in some extreme cases, can make the leather warp or buckle; this is not just associated with Ford, but all automobile manufacturers that have real leather dashboards ~ especially when in super warm climates.

2021 Ford Explorer review
I love my ST all except for seating. I’m just not a fan of European style seating soo we had an upholstery shop up grade them. Sooo much fun to drive! Great gas mileage considering I’m a lead foot. And when needed you can put a full 4x8 sheet of plywood in the back.

Nelson was wonderful. He made the whole process so easy. I am so happy with my vehicle.
2022 Ford Explorer review
I love this vehicle. My 2022 Ford Explorer XLT far exceeds my expectations. Handling is great. Performance is far better than expected. Gas mileage is 26mpg combined average for the 16,500 miles I have on the vehicle so far. The interior fit and finish could be better and the original tires...not holding up very well. The vehicle is comfortable and always a pleasure to drive. I always get compliments on the exterior style. In my opinion, it's one of the better looking SUV's on the road. The rear biased drive train give it superior handling, better than anything I test drove. Chevy, Subaru, or the Kia.

CarMax Independence Boulevard review
On yesterday, April 24, I had the opportunity to purchase a vehicle I had been wanting for quite some time. Working with the team at Carmax on Independence Blvd in Charlotte, NC was worth the short drive from Columbia, SC. Everyone from Shakiyah (New Sales Consultant), Neil Petersen, Sales Consultant, Caleb (Sales Manager) and my absolute favorite, Kahlil, made my experience one of a kind! Thank you for your professionalism and for making my experience a great one!

Best Ford, other than a pickup, I've ever owned. Minor issues and recalls. All fixed or checked expertly here in Woodbridge VA. Only 80,000 miles. All highway. Tows a trailer perfectly straight. 4X4 with tow package. Getting ready to sell. Nobody else in the house to use it ! Lol

2020 Ford Explorer review
Wife's car ,working at home not many miles low 20k as of2024 June. Still I wonder about trans fluid because of time. Problem that bugs me is the radio. Static in AM off and on ,and of course the business station 1220am about the market. UGH!! Third lease of explorer, so low in miles ,made it a purchase. 🤞👍

2023 Ford Explorer review
Quiet, comfortable and powerful car. I have the twin turbo that puts out 400 hp. General gas mileage is 19-20 city and 24-25 highway. The only thing that I would change on this vehicle is that I would like to be able to turn off some of the automatic operations on a semi-permanent basis.
