2022 Ford Edge review
Vehicle is good but ride could be better for a 5400 lb. suv. They class it as a station wagon not an suv for insurance reasons. Like it . Sorry they don't make them anymore, kind of concerning.

2018 Ford Explorer review
This is my fourth Explorer. I decided in 2018 to order the top-of-the-line Platinum. This vehicle has all the bells and whistles for a person that wants the luxury of one of Fords top models. It has Platinum leather seats that are very comfortable. If you can find today, buy it. It has the 3.5L V6 that has great power on acceleration. You can only buy a V6 now on the 2025 Explorer ST which is a 3.0L. The cost is around $60,000 Loaded.

2021 Ford Explorer review
I love my ST all except for seating. I’m just not a fan of European style seating soo we had an upholstery shop up grade them. Sooo much fun to drive! Great gas mileage considering I’m a lead foot. And when needed you can put a full 4x8 sheet of plywood in the back.

2018 Ford Fusion Hybrid review
The Ford Fusion was a modest priced sedan, low maintenance, great mileage and the hybrids are so smooth compared to all the other brands. I've own 6 of them since 2010. When Ford stopped making the Fusion after 2020 and decided to give away their sedan line, the copy cat models of Hyundai and Toyota both increased sales in the 20% range. Gas, oil and little electricity for the plug-in and these near maintenance free cars just go and go. I've put as much as 165,000 on them without issue.

Apple play used to connect but no longer does. Didn’t notice passenger door wasn’t installed properly until I took a road trip and the noise!!! Drivers side arm rest squeaks as though it’s about to come apart. Very noisy engine over 40 mph.

2025 Ford Bronco Sport review
We've owned the Bronco Sport Heritage for 6 months and we are thrilled with it. The 1.5L did not impress me in the beginning but has absolutely won me over. Driving to 5000 feet up 6% mountains is not a problem for this engine neither is passing on the freeway. Engine noise when accelerating is surprisingly quiet and its averaging 32 mpg. The interior is smartly laid out and roomy. The exterior is just fun to look at. The boxy shape really sets it apart from the other SUV's out there. A lot of thought went into the design of the Bronco Sport and the longer I own it the more I'm appreciating the vehicle.

Pretty good except it has a clicking noise. Pretty sure im gonna have to take it to the shop after only 3 weeks. Have to see if there is an issue as recalls on the transmission keep Popping up in my Facebook feed.

2022 Ford Maverick review
I own the 2022 Ford Maverick XLT Hybrid and so far with roughly 28,000 miles on it I love it. Cannot believe the gas mileage that I get. From April thru Nov I am in the upper 40's to low 50's. That is driving in the cities and highways between the cities. Any long travels on the expressway and my mileage drops to the mid to low 30's. When I purchesed it in 2022 I stayed with the standard XLT interior and I do not regred not upgrading it. It is comfortable for a vehicle and it is quiet. I have easily gotten 4 golf bags in the truck bed and 4 golfers in the cab with one of those golfers standing at 6 foot 8 inches. I've also been able to get 2 10 foot kayaks in the bed with no problem. Yes, they extended beyond the tailgate but had no problems. So far I rank my purchase of my 2022 SLT Ford Maverick Hybrid as one of the top two vehicles I've purchased in my life time, and I will be 74 in 2025.

2022 Ford Escape review
I purchased used '22 Escape SE AWD two years old, low mileage and delighted with my dealer purchase. Upon extensive research, I was aware the loss of market value, which is why I purchased used. This vehicle is produced in volume as 'low-end' entry among 22 field competitors. Yes, there are several vehicles out there higher rated, more expensive, but my research validated highest cargo storage - highest mpg, for the reasonable market price. You can benefit from this depreciation by buying used! Some complain of the transmission, or slow pickup, or passenger door side panels. I have had no issues after 20,000 miles 6/2024 and get 31.3 mpg combined which is stellar!! A great value for the used car price-not new price. I would recommend as a reasonable value, HIGH capacity SUV can accommodate 4 airport passengers full size luggage is my first Ford of 21 cars purchased. Styling is very attractive, good assortment of safety features. Rear seats slide for extended passenger or cargo capacity.

2022 Ford Explorer review
I purchased the 2022 Timberline preowned about 1 month ago with appx 50k miles on it. I was disappointed that it does not have memory seats or a garage door remote button. (I didn't even notice this when test driving it). Who makes a car today with all the tech this car has and leaves off these 2 things! The interior is comfortable & well laid out. The ride is smooth & quiet. 2.3L turbo 4 cylinder is quiet & has amazing power. At idle it’s hard to tell that the engine is even running. The prior owner put on Michelin tires which contribute to the smooth, quiet ride. The seats are ActiveX (Ford’s name for vinyl) with cloth inserts. I’m 5’ 10” and 175lbs. My son who rode with me is 6’ 3” and 250lbs. Both of us found the seats comfortable & supportive on our 1st road trip. I’ve driven a Kia Telluride, which is a direct competitor. The Kia has a little more tech but I found the ride to be on the harsh side, especially in the second row. This may be attributable to the low profile 21” tires. The Timberline has 18” balloon tires which I much prefer. 2 weeks after purchasing it I made a 2,200-mile road trip from Dallas TX to Orgon. Fuel mileage ranged from 21 to 28 with an overall average of 24 mpg. *if I don’t drive over 70 mph on the highway the fuel economy goes up to about 32! *these numbers are from the actual miles & gallons of fuel used, not from the dash numbers, which I found are a little optimistic. It has a few bugs that I’ll have to deal with, but it’s a used Ford & not a Lexus. Overall, I'd say I'm very happy with this car & would recommend it.

2018 Ford Focus review
Purchased a used 2018 with 35K miles in 2023. I now have 75K miles as it's a commuter car, about 90 miles a day. I average almost 41 mpg going from Pueblo to Colorado Springs and back. The CVT was a bit suspect when I first got it, but I think the driving has corrected the 3rd gear delay. The CVT is hands down better than my Altima. One year that car was gone, total junk.

2025 Ford F-150 review
I purchased a new 2025 XLT powerboost about a month ago. Got around 1500 miles on it. The overall performance of the truck is awesome. Its a good looking truck. I have added tint windows, hard bed cover and I am getting the upgraded leather package for it as well. The gas mileage is great and with hybrid it gets even better. The handling is good. The stop & go is also great. I went from a 2020 Nissan Titan to this F150 and must say I am impressed overall with the truck. I happy about the warranty that ford provided and look to maybe get the extended warranty when the time comes.

2024 Ford Edge review
I owned a 2017 Fusion Platinum and did not want to get a SUV. Knowing the Edge was based on the same platform, I gave the 2024 a spin. I was impressed. It drove, handled, braked, and steered very well. I drove many cars, and even though Ford had not redesigned in a while, it was more enjoyable to drive than the Audi Q5 and Lexus RX. I rated the value a 3 because it is expensive. The Titanium Elite price is in the Lexus/Audi ballpark. I really wanted the Audi because I have owned some in the past, but the Edge was more sporty and more comfortable. I drove the ST and I was surprised that it did not feel a lot faster. This wqas the same with the Fusion. You can tell the ST was faster, but it did not jump off the line like I was expecting. I was disappointed the edge lost some equipment from the past as it is being phased out. So I added it. I added the hood insulation, the engine cover, the cargo cover, LED lighted sill plates, and the laminated acoustic glass on the front doors, all purchased from FORD dealers to make sure they were the real deal. I also added the keyless entry keypad (securicode). I was really disappointed they deleted securicode. The interior is not flashy like an Audi, but I like that it is understated. The carmello seat and door inserts make the car very audi-ish and special. It is too bad this is the last year. The Lincoln Nautilus lives on as the next generation in the USA. I can tell it has roots from the Fusion. That is also gone.

I am 77 years old and a Vietnam Era Veteran, I had a 2002 Ford F-150 pickup truck that I used in my business until I retired and still drove it after that until it got to a point where it just wasn't feasible to repair it anymore so I scrapped it, since I am retired I don't really drive that much anymore and I used Lyft services and my wife's car to occasionally get here and there. But my wife works part time and needs the car about 4 days a week. Then I decided I wanted to get myself another vehicle, not necessarily a new one but a recent late model, but then the ordeal of deciding what I wanted to get started. Did I want a small car a big car a truck, and SUV and if an SUV which one? Since I am a veteran I use the VA Health Care Center in Providence and I am provided Lyft services to and from the hospital for checkups and what have you. During my car search time I happened to have an appointment at the VA and when I called Lyft services to schedule a ride they sent over a beautiful Honda Pilot which I rode in and was very impressed with, and as luck would have it, when I was through with my appointment and called for another ride, Lyft sent ANOTHER Honda Pilot to take me home and I was very impressed with that vehicle as well. I searched for Honda Pilot vehicles online and came across a beautiful looking 2020 EX model, it was burgundy, loaded with a lot of features, had very low mileage, and was very reasonably priced. It was for sale at Grieco Honda on Hartford avenue in Johnston. As a lot of people , are I was a little hesitant about going into a car dealership having heard stories about various bad experiences some people have had with some. When I went into Grieco Honda I was introduced to a young man named Chris Matarese who was a very pleasant individual. He brought the vehicle around for us to go for a test drive, was extremely polite, very intelligent and exceptionally knowledgeable about the vehicle, answering all of my questions in an instant. After a brief time of asking my "20 questions" about the vehicle and financing I decided to buy the 2020 Honda Pilot. Since the vehicle had just been taken in trade it had not been inspected by the service department as yet, and Chris had the vehicle taken in immediately to have it inspected, the service manager noted that the driver side sun visor was not functioning properly and hung a little bit low having apparently been sprung over time, and it was decided that Grieco would put a new visor in for me which I thought was a very nice gesture. So to end this story, I've had the vehicle now for a little over 2 months and I cannot be happier with it and also with the excellent and outstanding service and courtesy which was extended to me by Chris Matarese, you will find him exceptionally honest, devoutly professional, and eager to earn your business. The services provided by Grieco Honda including sales, financing, and the service department were all excellent in quality, if you're looking for a vehicle go to Grieco Honda on Hartford Avenue in Johnston and ask for Chris you will not be disappointed I can assure you. 2019 Ford Fusion review
A 2014 and 2019 Fusion I’ve had. Still driving the ‘19. ‘14 was that great red color, Se but back then you could load it ( came like that ), An SE model with leather, moonroof heated seats - same as top of line except no Sony radio. Had a 2008 Audi A6 - this Fusion reminded me so much of the Audi, when pulling away has this heavy feel, almost as quiet as A6. almost as smooth- interior - we know who took that. My 2019 has 109K on it - really only one problem, check engine light came on - Oxygen sensor - tires, brakes battery, I read somewhere that Ford stopped it because they didn’t really make any money, the SUV craze. Simple car no problem. First new car for me was 1985 Toyota Corolla - 13 years and 235,000 miles when the head gasket went.

2018 Ford Taurus review
I have the 2013 model SEL. I really don't care for the front wheel drive but overall this car is a workhorse. I have 250,00 on the 2013 and she will get up and go smoothly. Good on gas as well and dependable. Except for the 2013 waterpump issue. Other than that, its dependable and the interior is nice leather, not cheaply made. Im getting another one for sure.
