2025 GMC Sierra 1500 review
I bought this after going to the dealer just to look at colors. I had a 2016 Chevy 1500 LTZ that I loved. There was my down payment and took this Denali home. Only 2 options. Paint and moonroof. I thought my chevy with 3.42 gears was quick. This one goes with 3.23's. The ride is great. Fit and finish are perfect. My only complaint is this Bose/Apple play radio is not what the 2016 Bose was.

2025 GMC Sierra 1500 review
Let me start by saying I have the AT4 model with the Duramax 3.0L diesel. I had a 2024 Elevation with the 5.3L V-8 that I bought to pull my 22’ camper. While the Elevation pulled my camper fine it drank the gas like it was on a binge. And with a 26 gallon gas tank it seemed I was filling up every couple of hours. After one trip to Nova Scotia I knew something had to change. I pulled my camper out west to Yellowstone and back through Arizona. It pulled like a champ and fillups were a lot more manageable. Even driving the speed limit out west I still got four to five mpg better than with the gasser. I liked the Elevation but I love the AT4. Way nicer ride and great handling. I get 30 per gallon of diesel on the highway if I drive the speed limit but I got it to tow with. I added a Titian replacement fuel tank so I have 43 gallons instead of the 26 it came with.

Overall I am very happy with my new Truck. GMC however needs to address their software glitch where the display screen intermittently stops working or the audio cuts in and out. I keep hearing a software update is being worked on but that was a while ago?

Incredible customer focus. Had an issue with my 2020 Silverado. Had to drive from Wareham to Marlborough so I pulled in to Robertson GMC, never once believing that I would be able to continue. Finally an no pressure car buying experience! I like to get a new or new to me used vehicle but like many customers, kind of dread the whole experience of “dealing with the sales people”. I don’t like the whole drawing boxes, asking what I want my payment to be and let me go talk to my sales manager… AGAIN! I dealt with Josh and to be fair I knew what I was going in for so unless you have a day to kill on a car lot, do your homework prior to going to the dealership. When I got to McGee Josh greeted us and had the cars I wanted to look at ready to go for a test drive. There was a good demeanor with Josh and it was easy to work with him. Deal was made that day (Saturday) and I picked my vehicle up Monday with tags, title, registration and inspection sticker by 10am! By far this has been the best car buying experience I’ve had for a car that I really love. Thanks Josh and Joel at McGee!!!

2025 GMC Sierra 1500 review
I have the 1500 double cab with standard bed. The reason I have this vehicle is I really like the 6.5 foot bed. The crew cab with same bed is just too long. The things I dislike about this model is that it only comes in the SLE model. For the 2025 that means the external mirrors do NOT have a power fold in and it does not have a seat memory for more that one driver. The power fold in for the mirrors is extremely important to me.
