2013 Hyundai Accent review
I have had my 2013 Hyundai Accent since it was new. I change my oil regularly and I've had to get new tires once. It has only 168,000 miles but I drive it daily. Never any issues The only problem I have with it is some rust on the paint from living in the Florida heat. I absolutely love this car. It is my third Hyundai Accent and never had any issues with any of them.

2021 Tesla Model S review
purchased used with 2,200 miles. At first, I hated it, I've never had an all-electric car and the batter was dead. Luckily they sent someone to jump it. I was still thinking it was a mistake, until I actually drove it and got to know it and learn it. Drives totally different than my corvette. Now I like the Tesla better than my 650hp corvette. It hugs the road like nothing, takes off like a bat out of xxxx. I felt safe and comfortable hitting the pedal to the floor and feeling the rush of this thing taking off and just hanging on to that jet style steering wheel.

After much copious research I bought a 2019 Malibu LT from Diamond Jim’s, my first experience with the dealership. Joe and Perry were knowledgeable, fair, and easy to work with—no high pressure tactics. No need to haggle and browbeat the staff, either, for a deal. The price of the car was previewed on Carfax, given “a good price” rating for its overall specs, and proved so upon inspection with no hidden after-market products to jack up the published price. Too bad there was no Diamond Jim’s when I bought my first used car way back in the 20th Century from a different dealership that filled the transmission case with sawdust to make it run smooth for a month.

2007 Pontiac Vibe review
I owned one from 2007 until 2023. Probably the best car I ever had. I traded it in on a Corolla Cross, but if I could find a factory fres 2007 Vibe, I' d buy it. The only oddity was thst I had to replace two bad water pumps, and serpentine belt. The new Corolla has too much infotainment gadgetry, and a poorly written manual by comparion.

2026 Toyota Corolla review
So far so good. If had her a week. My only complaints and they're minor. One, there is only one cigarette outlet inside the center console so you have a wire going from the center console to your dash. The outlet should be somewhere on the dash. There is a usb outlet on the dash so you have to buy a new camera. Like I said minor. Two, no rear windshield wipers. The car is very quite so you don't have outside noise. Ride is very smooth. Seat is comfortable. The Ruby Pearl is stunning. For a 2026 I thought $24k was a fair price. I just filled up yesterday so jury is out on gas mileage.

Spectacular car, highly practical and great value for the money. Spacious and comfortable ride. The range is sufficient for my commute and errands I have to run. If needed it can go fast. Just be careful bc going 80mph or more will drain the battery quick. As long as you don't need to speed all the time it's a great car.

2018 Ford Fiesta review
Bought new at the end of 2018. Almost 8 years later and this has been the least problematic vehicle I’ve owned. In the past I drove a Camry, Civic, Volvo, and a Mazda3. 70k miles on my Automatic transmission SE sedan and the only issue has been replacing the actuator once. Other than that, all routine. Tires once, brakes once, battery once. Been consistent on oil changes/tire rotations, always between 4k-5k miles. Even drove from Florida to California and back without a single problem. Hoping for another 70k miles! 🙏🏼

2018 Hyundai Elantra GT review
Had this car the moment it was released in 2018 because I really liked the European “N” version. Had no issues except for a couple of sensors and a rubber engine mount going bad. Recently had the spark plugs changed to keep up the performance. No issues even after being modified either. Great car and probably going to be my “Forever car”.

2017 Hyundai IONIQ Hybrid review
Have owned it for 3 years and I think it is brilliant. The fuel economy is staggering, witchcraft! But the most surprising is the comfort, i regularly take it on 1000 mile journeys from the UK to the Med and it's really good. Quiet, the heated/ventilated leather seats are superb, and the gearbox is excellent. The only thing that could be better is the boot cover and the plastic in the back. I guess that's where they saved some costs to keep yhe price down and frankly it's not great but perfectly adequate.

I decided to take a chance and still test drive the car I wanted and Meagan was a great sales person. She did additional research on the car and was not pushy but very thorough. Luckily Chad was the manager on staff the day we came and he made the deal happen Rich said was not possible. The buying process was the quickest I have ever experienced and we didn't have to spend half a day waiting in the dealership. Overall I am happy with our purchase and sales experience but the initial disappointment is still a factor.

2021 Mazda Mazda3 review
Purchased a 2021 sedan premium plus turbo AWD in 2022 with 11,000 miles. THE BAD: At 17,000 miles I discovered the front end would wobble when I applied the brakes. I was told by the dealer that I needed front and rear rotors and that the cost would be $1,000. When I asked why I needed brakes at only 17K miles I was told it was because the rotors must have gotten wet when I drove through a puddle when they were hot. Really? He obviously thought I was an idiot. It ended up costing me $600 to have a local shop do the work including an upgrade on the quality of the original factory rotors and pads. At 29,000 miles the car left me stranded in a parking lot when the battery died. A replacement battery cost me $280. At 30,000 miles the original manufacturer tires were badly worn and needed to be replaced (and yes I rotate them in fact EVERY oil change as opposed to every other). I purchased 4 Michelin tires which cost me $1,200. Also at 30K miles a rock came up from the road and cracked my windshield causing me to spend my deductible to have it fixed ($500). Nobody's fault I understand, just one more expense with so few miles.I have also noticed that I often get a "safety and driver support systems temporarily disabled" notice. It seems to be random but is annoying nonetheless. Shouldn't be happening at 32K miles. At 29K miles I apparently hit a pothole and the front rim was badly bent. The cost to straighten the rim was $140. The lane departure safety feature is annoying. Every time I even begin to leave my lane it violently pulls me back. Even when I need to go around an object in the road it pulls me back. Also, the tone associated with lane departure only works when it fells like it which is probably a good thing. Another issue is that it takes forever for the interior to get warm in the winter and cool in the summer. The car needs to warm up for at least 15 minutes before the temperature gets where I need it to be. The problem with that is that when using the remote start through the Mazda App, it only allows the car to run for 10 minutes. Also, you can't make any adjustments to the temperature from the app. ... THE GOOD: This vehicle is a blast to drive! It sounds great and it has plenty of power and I am still in love with the exterior appearence. The interior is done so well and as YouTube car reviewers say, "it's a great place to be". It has every option I would every want except for wireless Apple car play. It handles great and the AWD seems to work really well in slippery conditions. Currently I am at a crossroads. Do I sell my Mazda3 while the value is still high and get something else or do I keep it and hope nothing else goes wrong? I really like the car but I want to love it. One issue is the fact that when I purchased it I got 2.9% financing. I would be lucky to get 6.9% with todays rates. 2025 Honda Civic review
I traded in a 2017 Honda CR-V Touring because it was going to to cost more to fix the major issues (as a second owner I did not know the CR-V had that many things wrong). I put money down on the Civic Sport that I was going to use for the repairs. I do have to say it's a nice car and I hope it will last longer than I expect. That being said I didn't want to buy another Honda but I did go to a dealership that I trust more than anybody else. I will come back and further my review once I have 5,000 miles on it.

2018 Honda Civic review
I have had my car for a few years now. I have 102k on it now. I took it in for the A/C recall and Fuel pump. My injectors were replaced as part of the fuel pump recall. I have had zero other issues, all was paid for. I am as happy with it now as I have ever been. I get a constant 35MPG combined and it has 205hp with excellent handling. I’m old, I’ve had a lot of cars. This is truly an engineering marvel. How could you get this mileage and power for that price? Do your research. I drive it very aggressively in so cal canyons etc and it makes me smile.. that alone is worth the reasonable price. Mine is stock, but my warranty just ended at 100k so stay tuned……

2024 Mazda Mazda3 review
Previously we have owned a 2016 Mazda Hatchback with the 2.0 liter engine and manual transmission. Our biggest complaint with that car was the lack of power. We were not expecting a performance car, but the 2 liter engine in that car was just anemic. My wife didn't feel safe trying to pull out into traffic. We recently purchased a 2024 Mazda 3 Premium with 2.5 liter engine and manual transmission. While still not feeling like a sports car (it is not one) it does have considerably more torque than the 2016 we owned previously. Things we like about the 2024 model: - the bump in power - fuel economy - the interior. the seats are somewhat firm, but comfy. The dash is nicely layed out - the buttons on the console are useful - heater/AC controls are buttons and knobs - easy to use - the heater fan! We have had several Mazdas, and the fan has always been underpowered. the fan in this car is adequate - two driver settings that will put the seat in the correct position, as well as let you set the brightness of the heads up display - seat heaters Things we don't like: - auto sensing wipers. the only way to use the intermittent wipers is with the 'auto' setting, and it operates properly only intermittently at best - the door for the gas filler. it is not difficult, but if you don't know how to do it, you may need to google (what I had to do at the gas station) - Fully electric parking brake - I would prefer a manually operated brake. - The pedal area is somewhat narrow. I have somewhat wide feet, so I have to keep that in mind, as some shoes make driving cumbersome. The reliability question was required, which is a rather lame requirement when one has owned a car for a month. I gave it 3 stars as I have no idea yet as to the reliability.

2019 Volkswagen Golf GTI review
The quality of a MK7.5 is fantastic, even with a few years out the MK7 Platform does hold up great, people who take care of this car can see that this Generation whole from the MK7.0 to the MK7.5 design is on Peak, best designed Golf ever made. Driveability: the MK7 platform acomplishes it’s purpose depending on the model you get in my Case is the GTI, very sporty stiffer suspension than the Regular Goof it pays off the driving feel on spirited driving, confort mode comes with the vehicles with Dynamic Chassis Control (DCC) it’s pretty comfortable for what you get, it is not a Passat this is a Golf GTI inspired to be Sporty Manual transmission, it’s a great transmission, with practice you can have a very comfortable driving experience or a lot of fun on spirited driving. This is the best car I have ever owned since new, I don’t beat on it much and I do ALL my maintenances on time or before time depending by mileage or time from the Owners Manual. It is a lot of fun to drive And it’s highly modifiable as by just doing a good set up for the intake can make the car sound and behave a little bit different, with a short shifter kit can also change the personality of the car driving it. With some cool body mods such as OEM+ can really change the looks of the vehicle. I love this car and I’ll be keeping it for a long time.
