I just picked up my new car at CarMax of Hartford and, I have to say, this was the best car-buying experience I have ever had. I had found a Ford Explorer that I wanted to see on their lot. I put a hold on the vehicle on their website, very early in the morning. By 9am the same morning, I was contacted by Rocco Toce, the most awesome sales person around. I have bought many vehicles through the years and he is the top of the list! We went to look at the truck and he had it clean and ready for us to test drive. We loved the truck but it just didn’t have all the options that we were looking for. I found the exact Explorer we wanted in New York and Rocco jumped right in to help us transfer the vehicle to Hartford. I have to admit, it IS a leap of faith to pay the transfer fee upfront before even seeing the vehicle in person. Rocco jumped in and took over. He spoke to the other CarMax and had them check every part of the vehicle out. I felt very comfortable after he called and told me the truck sounds good. My Explorer made it to Hartford very quickly and Rocco immediately checked it out and let us know it was perfect! I went to see it yesterday. It was beautiful and in the best shape. Rocco took us through the entire car and never rushed us through anything. He sent our Explorer to detailing while my 2009 Silverado was appraised. I received a fair price for my trade and the deal was smooth and handled professionally by the staff. I’m pretty sure I have not had a better car buying experience. Rocco and the team at Hartford CarMax could not have done more to make our experience the best. I did a ton of research about CarMax like I’m sure everyone does. I drove over an hour to work with them and I am so glad I did. We walked out of there with a great, shiny Ford Explorer and the greatest car buying experience!
I was working with Al, stopped by to check out a car, within 7 days I was on my way in my car. very good buying process, very good no BS dealer. received a 60 warranty and Al was very proactive about getting on some of the work done before I'd even requested it. This is a good place to buy a used car.
I met Tyler when I was looking to buy a Honda civic in June 2018. I had some idea what kind of car I wanted to buy but really no idea of the specifics and how to go about it. Tyler was really helpful and patient with all my questions. He was really good at following up with me, keep in touch with me via text and phone calls and it really seem like he was in my corner to get me the best deal possible.He calmly first took the time to figure out what exactly I wanted and then curated the best possible car with all the features that would work for me. He went above and beyond what I expected a salesman to do for me and continue to follow up even after I got my car to make sure everything was working well for me. I met Tyler in the Spring when my CRV was in for service. At the time we were just in the thinking stages of a new car strategy. Without being a pest, Tyler stayed in touch until we were ready to make a purchase. We changed our minds several times about make model color etc. Tyler stayed with us and helped make a good decision with us. He is patient and persistent and tried to accommodate every wish. He even sent a car back due to a defect rather than push it on me. We appreciate his professionalism and will do business with him again.
A friend of mines told me about this dealership because her son brought his Audi from them. I decided to go and check them out after work. Believe it or not they actually have some very nice high end vehicles. I did not think that I was going to buy a car that day! The lot at Carite has a vast selection. I came there with a one track mind and was only going to purchase a Rav4 but ended up with a Nissan instead. So much to choose from, the cars appears clean and well taken care of.
I would not hesitate to shop here again.
