My service representative was very informative about what they would be doing with my car to solve the problem. He stated they would have to keep it for 4-6 hours to discover the problem. Every step of the way he kept me informed of what they were finding.
I came to the dealership in hopes of getting a deal on a Honda Civic. I bought my current car from them and got a great deal. I couldn't get the car at the price I wanted so no purchase was made. I came here because they are up front with everything and the dealership doesn't load the car up with dealer add ons which increases the purchase price substantially. Even thou I didn't make a purchase, I appreciate their no pressure up front dealings.
I shopped various Bay Area Honda dealerships for an HR-V, and Auzy at Oakland Honda was by far the most straightforward and responsive sales rep I came across. He was not a high pressure salesman, but worked to get us the best price possible on an HR-V. In fact, his price was so good that a competing dealer advised me to jump on it. Also, as I was driving home from the dealership, I noticed what I thought was a scratch on the windshield. I emailed Auzy and Francis (Oakland Honda's technology specialist) about it, and they were happy to address the issue, which turned out to be a strand of sticky adhesive that was easily removed. All and all, we had a great experience.
The service is great! The online tool to schedule does not update the service records at Concord Toyota. Recommend that it not be used and call the service there. I have used it twice and been told I didn't have an appointment. Luckily they were able to still do the service.
Car shopping for my 18 year old daughter's first car and stopped by Honda Oakland used cars to see their inventory. Worked with Sky Zeng and his manager - both VERY professional. Test drove a sedan in great shape, very clean and fairly priced. We ended up buying an SUV from different dealership, but I would happily return to Honda Oakland because it was such a positive experience for both of us. We were treated with respect and without the typical high pressure antics that make car buying so miserable. THANK YOU, Honda Oakland. I have huge respect for how you do business! We'll be back next time we are in the market for a car!
Shopping for a used van, saw 1 for sale at EKE on the web, came by for a look and a test drive. Good van, a little bigger than I had wanted, and the sales folks couldn't have been nicer. Would have been very comfortable buying from them, if I had decided to do so. I
I shopped at a couple of dealerships and requested a quote at Honda.com and Glenn Scheffer responded with a very good price. I drove from Marin to Oakland and Glenn was excellent. He is very knowledgeable and low key. He was easy to negotiate with and we reached a deal I felt was fair. The whole process was very pleasant. About 3 hours after I arrive, Glenn gave me a thorough tutorial on the features of my Honda Civic SI and I I drove home in my new car.
