Grieco Honda review
I am 77 years old and a Vietnam Era Veteran, I had a 2002 Ford F-150 pickup truck that I used in my business until I retired and still drove it after that until it got to a point where it just wasn't feasible to repair it anymore so I scrapped it, since I am retired I don't really drive that much anymore and I used Lyft services and my wife's car to occasionally get here and there. But my wife works part time and needs the car about 4 days a week. Then I decided I wanted to get myself another vehicle, not necessarily a new one but a recent late model, but then the ordeal of deciding what I wanted to get started. Did I want a small car a big car a truck, and SUV and if an SUV which one? Since I am a veteran I use the VA Health Care Center in Providence and I am provided Lyft services to and from the hospital for checkups and what have you. During my car search time I happened to have an appointment at the VA and when I called Lyft services to schedule a ride they sent over a beautiful Honda Pilot which I rode in and was very impressed with, and as luck would have it, when I was through with my appointment and called for another ride, Lyft sent ANOTHER Honda Pilot to take me home and I was very impressed with that vehicle as well. I searched for Honda Pilot vehicles online and came across a beautiful looking 2020 EX model, it was burgundy, loaded with a lot of features, had very low mileage, and was very reasonably priced. It was for sale at Grieco Honda on Hartford avenue in Johnston. As a lot of people , are I was a little hesitant about going into a car dealership having heard stories about various bad experiences some people have had with some. When I went into Grieco Honda I was introduced to a young man named Chris Matarese who was a very pleasant individual. He brought the vehicle around for us to go for a test drive, was extremely polite, very intelligent and exceptionally knowledgeable about the vehicle, answering all of my questions in an instant. After a brief time of asking my "20 questions" about the vehicle and financing I decided to buy the 2020 Honda Pilot. Since the vehicle had just been taken in trade it had not been inspected by the service department as yet, and Chris had the vehicle taken in immediately to have it inspected, the service manager noted that the driver side sun visor was not functioning properly and hung a little bit low having apparently been sprung over time, and it was decided that Grieco would put a new visor in for me which I thought was a very nice gesture. So to end this story, I've had the vehicle now for a little over 2 months and I cannot be happier with it and also with the excellent and outstanding service and courtesy which was extended to me by Chris Matarese, you will find him exceptionally honest, devoutly professional, and eager to earn your business. The services provided by Grieco Honda including sales, financing, and the service department were all excellent in quality, if you're looking for a vehicle go to Grieco Honda on Hartford Avenue in Johnston and ask for Chris you will not be disappointed I can assure you. Purchased a new car for my Grandmother here. I have never had anything close to the experience i got here. From the initial hello when i walked thru the door, to the final handshake, these folks are top notch! I personally worked in the car business for over 10 years and have yet to be treated better in any dealership. They will continue to have my business for years to come.

2025 Hyundai SONATA review
I had a 2025 Limited hybrid as a loaner and was extremely impressed with it! Quite frankly if I didn’t love EVs so much I would be getting one. My spouse has a 2025 Lexus ES and there are just a few features it has that the Limited Sonata lacks, but the Sonata has a LOT of features the ES doesn’t have, and the price difference between them is a brand new Nissan Versa. It’s very quiet and even when you floor the accelerator it’s really not bad for a 4 cylinder. The ride is every bit as good as the ES, if anything better probably due to the fact that the rims are 2 inches smaller. The driver assistance features work so smoothly. Really the only thing I was disappointed with was it doesn’t have power folding mirrors and my 2019 Hyundai Ioniq does, so that was surprising but it’s kinda an unnecessary feature anyway but I like it cuz I know if the mirrors are folded the car is locked. Also I wasn’t getting the MPG on the window sticker. Granted I only had it for one day and 65 miles, 95% interstate driving 75, but it was a struggle to reach what it’s rated at for the city driving. I feel like the city and highway numbers should be reversed, because it definitely prefers city driving. I also had a 2025 SEL AWD as a loaner for my last service visit, and it was fine but honestly nothing stood out to me. It was like a random rental car, nothing good but nothing bad either.

Best car buying experience. The staff was friendly and helpful. There was no pressure at all. We had the deal closed and I was driving away in no time. I car was ready when they said and it was spotless. Detailed clean. They went over all the options with me. They made sure I understand what everything did and how it worked. They even helped me connect my phone to the Bluetooth in the car. Thanks John and Bob. I will definitely be referring my friends and family.

I was in the market for a Pontiac Fiero when I came across their dealership that had one. When i went, I dealt with Matt, who was easy going and therefore I felt no pressure. Granted I was considering a vintage car so a perfect car was not expected. He answered all of my questions regarding the car and even offered limited information on the previous owner which helped give me a sense of continuity with the history of the car. I purchased the car and although early in my ownership, the car seems to be as described.
2023 Hyundai SONATA review
Purchased a 2023 Hyundai Sonata SEL. The car had 27000 miles on it. It met my requirements for power, ride, comfort, and options. I've had it for about a month now and it is everything I was hoping to have in a good performing, comfortable, reliable car. I especially like the interior cabin space and the display screen, Nice big, clear backup camera, and the some of the options for driver assist are great including the variable cruise control, the blind spot warning alert, and the lane departure warning alert.

2017 Hyundai SONATA review
I have a 2017 Sonata SE that has been a very good, reliable vehicle. I spend alot of time on the road for my job and it had never given me any issues; very comfortable, gas mileage around 30+. As many others have said, the engine conked out at around 124,000 mi. The dealer replaced it with a new factory engine 2 mos ago. A week after I got it back, the accelerator something or other broke so I took it back and had to pay $500 to repair it. (they swore it was unrelated- I dont think so) Other than that, it has been a great car.

2024 Hyundai SONATA review
The hyundai Sonata is my very first brand new vehicle!, and I am loving! It is so far. The car is so amazing, so smooth and comfortable to drive. It does indeed turn a lot of heads. I have the N-Line model which has lots of performance and style, but for the reliability I just have to wait and see, I know I have all the warranty on it just incase but I want it to last without using warranty. So lots of oil change is eminent for this type of car. Overall, I love the vehicle!!

I’ve premium Auto version of 2014 Hyundai Sonata. Purchased in 2024 with very low Kms of about 65k but had an issue with starter motor when it came to 70k, other than that, it now runs lit. Been servicing on every 5-7k, it tops comfort & luxury & can challenge any modern car with similar features.

The initial day we went to look, we were very happy leaving. We found something we loved, and Deb was amazing! We went back to do paperwork a few days later with Roger, who was also great to work with, and were told we could pick it up 24-48 hrs later. Friday came and there was a slight mix-up, but Eric and Deb took full responsibility for this mix-up and worked with us to fix it. Deb came in on her day off and we drove our car home the next day. Cannot say enough great things about the customer service here! Thank you for making our car-buying experience a good one!

Grieco Hyundai of Johnston review
The entire process of buying a used car was excellent. Everything went smoothly and the sales rep, Donny Chakoian, went above and beyond the call of duty for the entire experience. Although they seemed short staffed that evening, he was able to help me and several other customers in a very polite and seamless effort to answer all questions. When you need a car, go to him!!

Nucar Hyundai of North Kingstown review
I recently had my 2017 white Hyundai Tucson painted due to peeling in two small areas. Jeff, a service representative at Nucar Hyundai of North Kingstown, was excellent in helping me. He brought me to the rental desk for a car. Jeff also kept me informed as to when my painting was completed. It took a little over 2 weeks. Any question I asked him of Jeff he gladly answered for me. I would highly recommend working with Jeff. Harriet Wasser
2021 Hyundai SONATA review
I drove 3500 dually diesels for 25-30 years and then went to a Honda ridgeline 2018 new, love it until I drove my wife’s new car and decided I needed a car. My best friend had a Hyundai and loved it so I did hours of reviews Hyundai vs many others. All factors considered I decided to test drive a few. All things considered the Hyundai won and a low mileage 2021 caught my eye and I got it. After apps 1000 miles I am so glad I got it. Pros and cons Honda (H) push button start Hyundai (hy) key start, H remote start hy no remote start, H good ride hy better ride, H noisy hy less noisy,H electric keypad with gloves on more user friendly for me, hy parking easier, hy cornering better, H acceleration a bit stronger but hy smoother, both get the job done, I am 74 yo so I understand knobology better than the slow digital control for heat radio etc.,hy wins there- breaks equal, dashboard info hy wins, seems to love Google maps tolerates Waze, I prefer Waze. Pros and cons about not locking keys in car - can’t dash out start it w/o leaving key in ignition, physically gettin and out of the vehicle is harder, in a nutshell the things that matter more to me the hy wins so far.The salesman, Lamar was exceptional, a young family man earning a living by hustling but not rushing! Remember Lamar at Southern Auto Group in Newport News VA. Oh and the warranty was winner!

2020 Hyundai SONATA review
I have had nothing but a GREAT experience, from buying the car to owning it! I went to Auto Land of Accident Maryland to look at vehicles. I had no idea whatsoever of what I wanted but I knew it was time for a new vehicle. Kerri and Chad helped me find my beautiful red Hyundai Sonata, and I fell in love immediately. Chad had me in and out fast and was such a huge help with everything! I have had it for 3 months now and nothing to complain about! It drives so smooth, the steering handles great! The gas mileage is unreal. My son and I went to Florida for a week, and as a girl who loves road trips we drove it to Florida from Maryland. Then we drove all of the way back. A 16 hour road trip, 985 miles one way and I was getting 43.7 mpg. I couldn’t believe it! That whole trip took a little over two full tanks! This car has been perfect for hauling things around in since it has so much room in the trunk and back seat. The seats are comfy so my son didn’t mind the long trip in fact he slept through a couple of states. This is my dream car! Thank you so much Autoland!

Have a 2020 Sonata SEL with convenience package and it's now 11/24. 26 thousand miles and never had an issue. Car is comfortable reliable and my wife and daughter have our their feet down when I wanted to get another vehicle. My daughter wants it in a few years as I drive carefully, service the car every 4,000 miles. She wants a free car with under 50k miles that will last 200k miles. I have taught her well. She understands a good value. So glad I got the 2.5 non turbo as I believe the engine will be worry free for another 175k miles

Matt is Excellent. Outstanding customer service he is knowledgeable and quick and made the buying process a breaze. He went out of his way to make our experience the best it could be and stayed late to make sure my Wife could take hers home same day. I bought 2 cars in two separate trips on Saturday in the time it would take to buy one at other dealerships. This is my 4th car from AutoMax and have never had an issue with any of the vehicles or the experience. This is the place to go and I will be buying my next car there and asking for Matt.

I have the Limited. This is my 6th Hyundai/Genesis car and they just keep getting better. The technology is fantastic and equals many features in luxury cars at twice the price. In June I took a 3450 mile trip, hit 14 states and a variety of traffic conditions and it just kept chugging along with no effort. Features like HDA help on the long days of 700 miles. Used less gas than my previous car too, 95 gallons on that trip.

2020 Limited. Bought it new and I have 46,000 miles so far. Not a single issue yet. Traded in a 2018 Accord 1.5 Touring. The Sonata has more features, rides better/quieter, and feels more upscale. In the two years I had the Accord it was at the dealer numerous times for random issues. I have yet to have a problem with the Sonata going on 4 years!

Anthony Miranda and Eric are the best! They were very helpful with the Jeep and I am very happy with my new car purchase, thank you!
2024 Hyundai SONATA review
Hi All! I picked up my Sonata SEL w/ Convenience about 4 months ago and man is it pretty. I get compliments all the time. Anyhow, I have just under 2,000 miles on the odo. and figured it would be a good time to leave some first impressions and what it's been like to live with along with some good and not-so-good experiences I've had. First the GOOD: Like I said, it looks amazing. In my opinion, the best looking midsize sedan on the market and everyone seems to love the design. The refinement levels are amazing. Hyundai did an impeccable job quieting this sedan down from the previous version (I had a 2020 model prior). I notice a rather significant difference at highway speed and just cruising around town in overall noise levels. Super pleased here. The ride quality isn't as harsh as the previous version either. Overall, it feels softer over bumps and potholes barely make it through. Yet, handling is still great albeit maybe a bit less sharper around corners. I think this is a great sacrifice though. The prior gen. seemed to have a rather jarring ride in my opinion. In typical Hyundai fashion, the lane keeping/lane departure assist along with dynamic cruise control works flawlessly, so much better than both Honda and Toyota, and I've driven them all. Highway trips are an absolute breeze with the Sonata. Now, the NOT so good: The door handle sensor only works occasionally. Reaching behind the door handle with the key in my pocket should theoretically unlock the door, but it does so only about 50% of the time. I find myself reaching back and forth to and from behind the handle, and maybe on the 2nd or 3rd or 4th attempt, the door will unlock. Watching from afar, it probably looks idiotic like, is this dude afraid to touch his car, what's going on!? Odd. There's a rattle in the passenger door and is REALLY heard when playing music, even at low to moderate volume. I'll get this checked out when my 1st maintenance visit comes around. The Carplay screen is WAY too bright at night. Like, blinding bright. I can adjust it down to the lowest illumination level and it's still pretty bright, but it also dims the speedometer screen! Then, during daylight, it's far too dim, so I have to go in and turn it back up to max illumination. There's only one illumination level from what I can tell and it controls both the speedometer screen AND the infotainment screen. I wish there was a way to lower the brightness of the infotainment screen while keeping the speedo screen brighter along with greater variances between day and night levels. All in all, I'm extremely happy with the 2024 Sonata. I highly recommend it over Accord (lacking features, horrible road noise, pricy) and perhaps even the Camry, although the new 2025 version seems to be pretty killer.

2014 Hyundai SONATA review
My 2014 Sonata is my fourth Hyundai. I never have had a major problem with any of them. My current Sonata Limited has 70k plus on it. My only complaint on my current car is that the passenger seat sits too low and its a little difficult for the passenger to exit. Other than that I wouldnt hesitate to buy another Hyundai.

Brought my ‘24 GLE in for a check engine light and a rear window washer blockage. Service tech found exhaust baffle blocked due to icing, heated and greased with great success. Tech also found washer fluid line blocked and frozen. This problem was also corrected. Tech performed a complete vehicle inspection as well. All service work was accomplished with no charge. The dealership also provided me with a brand new 2026 GLC courtesy car for the day. Five Star ⭐️ service including my time spent with Tom O’Connor my service advisor!

2024 Hyundai SONATA review
Purchased a 2024 Hyundai Sonata N Line on April 1, w2024. It’s my very FIRST Hyundai purchase ever! So far, so good! I’m coming from a 2017 Buick Regal 2.0 turbo with a performance calibration from Trifecta Performance! It was fast, comfortable and handled pretty good. Enter my new N Line from Hyundai. I’ve owned late model Shelby GT500’s, Boss 302 Mustangs, and 5.0 Mustangs, and this car will move out as well! Certainly not Shelby fast. But, it’s a good performance sedan that’s extremely underrated, given its excellent performance, handling and tight steering, it’s one of the very best balanced performance sedans I’ve ever driven! I’m nearly 69 years old, and I can say unequivocally, it’s a very good performance sedan at a great price point with excellent safety, reliability, design and engineering for a very reasonable price point! I’ve also owned BMW products as well. I’ve owned a late model BMW 330i sedan, and a 2019 BMW X3 M40I! It’s not as fast as my previous M40i, but it’s pretty close compared to BMW’s legendary B58 inline 6 cylinder! Hats off to Hyundai and Mr. Albert Bierman for designing, engineering and producing such a dynamic sports sedan in 2024 when other manufacturers are ticking their tails between their legs and giving up on petro engines in favor of hybrids and electric cars! So far, im very impressed with Hyundai’s latest iteration of the Sonata N Line performance sedan! Go Steelers!!! It’s Lit!!! 🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥

Empire Pre-Owned Superstore review
It was my pleasure to work with Mike Rebola. From the moment I walked in the door, he greeted me cordially and with respect. We sat down and discussed my needs. Hehe came through with flying colors, I got what I wanted for the price I wanted to pay, they gave me a good deal on my trade in. Mike took me through the process step by step everything was done promptly and courteously and I could not be more pleased. I would be happy to recommend this dealership and this man if you're looking for a good used vehicle.
