2021 Hyundai SANTA FE review
When shopping for our Santa Fe, we looked at many different models brands and sizes some smaller some larger and felt very comfortable with the size of this vehicle. The interior is beautiful and lacks the big TV screen that many of the SUVs have that I didn’t care for. After driving it, I was impressed with its cornering handling breaking an overall driving position. I now have 15,000 miles on it and I’m totally impressed with its comfort and all of the safety features. Some of the smaller SUVs we drove were noisy, and I felt every bump on the road, some of the larger SUVs were just too big. I was impressed with how quiet this car was and how it smoothed out lot of the rough roads that we have here in California. We have the SEL model with a 2.5 L turbo charged engine that has plenty of power and decent fuel economy. I get over 30 miles per gallon on the highway and 25 miles per gallon in town. This is an amazing vehicle that drove nicer both in town and freeway than many other SUVs costing thousand more.

On Sunday, August 2, 2026 my granddaughter and I had an amazing experience at Folsom Lake Nissan. I purchased a 2026 Nissan Sentra SR for my granddaughter who will soon be leaving to attend college at a university in the state of Louisiana. Go Jags! A brief note on how the purchase became a deal. My granddaughter made a phone call to Folsom Lake Nissan in order to verify if a specific vehicle was in stock, Sebastian Galaviz answered the call and informed her that it was in stock and if she liked to come by for a test drive he would have it waiting for her to see and drive. Upon our arrival, we were greeted by Sebastian with a big beautiful smile and firm handshake and a direct walk to the vehicle as promised. Sebastian is an outstanding salesperson—professional, he is kind, and very friendly. He worked as a team player with two other outstanding gentlemen Mike and Nathan. They all carefully listened to our desires and truly worked hard to remain focused on helping us get the deal we wanted with absolutely no pressure. The three gentlemen friendliness, professionalism, and honesty created a family-oriented atmosphere,and with that experience, it made the whole buying process smooth and enjoyable. 2019 Hyundai TUCSON review
I bought my 2019 Hyundai Tucson in 2021 from the Dealership as the second owner. It has not given me any issues. I get it serviced when required. It has never had any issues. I feel the interiors are comfortable. I love the butt warmers. I love the vibrant blue exterior. SUV has so much space. When I put my foot down it it definitely not my old 300CC Hemi Chrysler V6 engine but it eventually goes. It feels sporty and stylish. 26mpg on the freeway.

2016 Hyundai TUCSON review
I have owneed my 2006 Hyundai Tucson. Love it! Starts and runs like a sewing machine, yet has turbo power to accelerate when needed. 75,000 miles on it and very reliable. The drivers side window did stop working - the "regulator" - an inside panel that the motor, window guides, and speaker attach to, needed replacing - $100 labor, $50 part from Amazon.

2020 Hyundai ELANTRA review
I recently bought a 2020 Elantra with very low miles (39k). It looks great, like new, and drives like a large sedan should. And the gas mileage is great! Driving around town yesterday it got 37 mpg in normal traffic, when the spec is 30. And on the freeway I was getting well over 57 mpg on a very slight, non-visible decline at 77 mph. It "feels" comfortable. My only knock so far is the information on the center console could be brighter and I haven't figured out how to make it yet. The owner's manual was not included in the sale.

I admired the Salesman’s (Gerard) backbone to not only show me the vehicle. They had a knowledge of the vehicle beyond my own knowledge/skills/abilities. Their supervisor (Oscar) came to personally introduce himself even though they was busy with other work flow. The Sales Team as a whole brought a lot of experience/knowledge to the project. Buying a car without great credit is scary and they bridged that gap. The real honor to this review goes to Angel. They are my financial advisor that goes above and beyond the call of duty. I’m a blue collar guy that doesn’t know numbers like Angel. They completely answered all my questions about the extra components and honored my requests. I could appreciate the knowledge skills and ability from Angel I’m pretty sure they were a boot at one point as well. From Top-Bottom. 2023 Hyundai ELANTRA review
I own a 23' Hyundai Elantra Limited, it has 37,000 miles on it. For the Elantra being the smallest sedan that Hyundai makes, I have been surprised by this car. My 2 previous cars were a Sonata Sport and a Sonata Limited. Pros: comfortable ride - I drive 60+ miles daily to work and I have no complaints about the ride of this car. Sound System: This features Bose speakers, as it is a Limited model. For a factory sound system, it sounds very good. Fuel Mileage: I get between 35 - 37 MPG with some of my daily drive being in stop and go traffic. Maintenance: the only things I have had to do were the normal oil changes, filter changes, and I have replaced the tires. Cool feature is the BlueLink phone app so you can remotely lock, unlock, start the engine to cool down or warm up the interior of the car Cons: hyundai took away the ability to save music to the car stereo and replaced the feature with "nature sounds" Homelink garage door opener was not an option in the Elantra Limited. I would recommend this car to someone that has a limited budget and is looking for a car that is fun to drive and has been reliable.

2022 Hyundai PALISADE review
Just be aware that if you buy a white one that Hyundai had a problem with the paint just flaking off. On the roof of my car which is white, I have big strands and strips of paint coming off and the car only has 20,000 miles. They covered it under warranty for 10 years but it's just a hassle.

2025 Hyundai TUCSON review
I just bought it. How would I know how reliable it is? We're used to a car with a V8, but bought this for economy and the warranty. It' slightly underpowered but not a deal breaker. The Auto stop start feature is a royal pain. It's 95+ degrees, We're at a series of long red lights. The engine stops, the A/C is running, the engines heats up, the car starts for the A/C compressor, stops, starts, stops, stops, starts, stops, starts, stops, starts, stops, starts, stops, starts, stops, starts, (wasn't that annoying? YES IT IS!) and starts when I release the brakes. This goes on all afternoon. I've worked on cars for 65 years and you will never convince me it won't wear out the battery and starter prematurely. I want that mess disabled. We will put less than 6,000 miles per year on this car. I doubt we saved $,20 in gas compared to a $600 battery/starter replacement bill.

It was my first visit to Folsom Hyundai. They got me in for an appointment within a week and were able get me in and out in about three hours. They also gave me paper outlining my next PM visit at 60k miles with a list of tasks and approximate cost. All in all a great visit! Thanks
2018 Hyundai TUCSON review
Let me add to the engine problems. Overall I really like this vehicle. We have taken many trips and enjoy the feel on the road. Maintenance has not been a major issue until recently. It started using oil on a regular basis. About a quart every two to three weeks. At around 92k miles it is now in the shop waiting to see if Hyundai will honor their warranty. It needs a new engine. It runs ok now, for a sewing machine. Hopefully Hyundai will honor their warranty and I can get another 90k miles out of the vehicle.

On Sunday, August 2, 2026 my granddaughter and I had an amazing experience at Folsom Lake Nissan. I purchased a 2026 Nissan Sentra SR for my granddaughter who will soon be leaving to attend college at a university in the state of Louisiana. Go Jags! A brief note on how the purchase became a deal. My granddaughter made a phone call to Folsom Lake Nissan in order to verify if a specific vehicle was in stock, Sebastian Galaviz answered the call and informed her that it was in stock and if she liked to come by for a test drive he would have it waiting for her to see and drive. Upon our arrival, we were greeted by Sebastian with a big beautiful smile and firm handshake and a direct walk to the vehicle as promised. Sebastian is an outstanding salesperson—professional, he is kind, and very friendly. He worked as a team player with two other outstanding gentlemen Mike and Nathan. They all carefully listened to our desires and truly worked hard to remain focused on helping us get the deal we wanted with absolutely no pressure. The three gentlemen friendliness, professionalism, and honesty created a family-oriented atmosphere,and with that experience, it made the whole buying process smooth and enjoyable. 2025 Hyundai ELANTRA review
This is the first car I have bought brand new in Sept of 2024. It is an extremely nice looking car. I had bought the turbo, N-Line version because I wanted more power. For the almost 2 years I have had it now, it runs great. I have only had one issue of the ABS module going bad in it. That was an uphill battle with getting the dealership to take a stab at fixing the problem (claiming the manufacturer wouldn't allow them to make guesses on issues unless they experienced it firsthand). Thankfully months later (and from getting in contact with the manufacturer directly), the problem of the ABS kicking on briefly had been resolved. This issue was extremely sporadic so it was hard to identify. I now have 20k miles put on this car and I love it. It runs great, the turbo could engage a bit faster compared to other comparable cars I have driven, but besides that it is very nice. Interior is fantastic beside the weird passenger, center-console handle. I'd recommend this to anyone looking for a new, base model car. You can get the more expensive packages if wanted, but the price of the base model would warrant enough of a purchase out of me.

2023 Hyundai TUCSON review
I've had this vehicle limited fwd edition over a year now and it's still awesome as the first day I bought it. Smoother ride and quieter ride than the Honda CRV or the Toyota RAV4. I love that it has GDI and multiport injection which the competition does not. I also love that it has a regular transmission and not a CVT. This vehicle comes with all the luxuries my old Cadillacs had plus a lot more features. This car has plenty of pick up and go. You just have to learn to push down on the accelerator not punch it. I would highly recommend this to anyone in the small SUV class. Cause believe me I test drove them all, and this was by far the quietest smoothest ride and most comfortable car that I test drove.

2023 Hyundai ELANTRA review
After getting 284K from our 2003 Elantra GLS and Currently 108K trouble free miles from our 2019 Elantra SEL so far, I just bought a Certified (Passed 173 Point Inspection) 2023 Elantra Limited (Scarlet Red) with 19K miles. It is the most beautiful and Safety Rich (Accident Avoidance) "High Tech" Computer on Wheels Car I ever bought (I'm 65 Years Young!). The Tesla Phase 2 "Highway Driving Assistance" is "Best in Class". Also, The 46-48 MPG average per TANK full (Non Hybrid) is simply amazing! I like the 8 Speed Manual Performance Mode when I want a more spirited FUN to drive ride! Infotainment system and Bose sound system is also very good. The only nice feature NOT including until 2024 Elantra is 360 degree camera monitoring. I might purchase & install an aftermarket 360 camera setup from a Stereo shop in a couple years if I really need it?

2022 Hyundai TUCSON review
I have had zero issues with this car since I bought it in 2022. I only have one complaint that it has to do with a recall. The recall has to do with removing the wiring harness for the trailer hitch but the problem is, there is no replacement wiring harness.

I bought my Elantra new. Never had to take it in for mechanical problems just front end due to pot holes. The car gave me an average mileage of 5.3/100km. I finally traded up to a newer Elantra. My old car had 483000km, no warning lights or repairs to the engine or transmission. Keep up with your maintenance

2020 Hyundai PALISADE review
Bought car used in September 2026 w/65000 miles. Needed to replace my 2016 Escape which broke down catastrophically after 2 years of constant repairs. Also, my sister was facing knee replacement and we needed to fit her, her 300-lb husband, walkers, wheelchair, and groceries in our everyday vehicle! Two words describe the result: exceeds expectations! Lots of room even with all of us and our junk; More road power than my old man's driving style needs, but it translates to smooth as silk road behavior on the steepest of Pennsylvania's hills; Typical Hyundai reliability and dealer service : helpful, courteous, attentive, and informative. Not the cheapest, but worth what I pay. I was suspicious about putting all my eggs in a 6 year old vehicle ... but I think I just bought 250,000 of solid comfort and driveability that's better than new!

Ryan Meeker, my service rep took very good care of me and worked with the service dept. to bring the car into excellent condition, with minimum expense to me. It could have been quite expensive, but Niello took responsibility for insuring I was happy with my "new" used car -- quite a deal for me! I couldn't be happier with the attention I've received from Niello. My thanks to everyone.
2016 Hyundai ELANTRA review
I love my elantra. I haven't hardly had any problems with it at all. However I also experienced the paint chipping on my white hyundai. I was also told that it was a rock. Now reading others comments about their paint shipping I question it. I paid out of pocket because it wasn't worth going through insurance with deductible and everything. Other than that I have had absolutely no problem with my Hyundai. I also like the look of it on the outside. I thought about trading for a newer one but I also don't like the styles of the new ones. I wish they still made them like the 2016 exterior. I would love to have a newer one but I would like for it to look like the 2016 hyundai. The reason for that is you could look at the car and see it was a Hyundai elantra. Now I feel like the new launchers look like every other car on the road.

CarMax Palmdale review
Recently I had to get a newer car and believe me I was stressed because of the situation but when I went to CarMax which this is my second car from them it was once again amazing to work with them! I had the pleasure of working with 2 amazing sales associates. Helen Mayo who was my main sales associate and Cheyeene Toliver who helped out my wife and myself when Helen was off! They both were very kind and helpful and made the process an ease! I was thinking of other options but since they were amazing I went with them instead if your looking for a car I highly recommend you ask for either of these two women they are a great help!
2019 Hyundai IONIQ Hybrid review
We drove our 2019 SEL from CA to OH and back in July 2021. It was a perfect ride. Our cat even got to like it. The Ionic performed better than any advertisement we saw. The sticker indicates mpg @ 57. At best we got 57.6! We didn’t get 57 the whole trip, but our 5100 mile averaged was 54. I stopped leasing after 3 cars to buy this one. Best car I’ve bought in 40 years.

2020 Hyundai Veloster N review
I would recommend this car to someone who specifically wanted a performance-oriented car. If I had to do over again I may not purchase it. Simply for the road noise and harshness. And the 19-in wheels. The tires are very hard to find and of course the car comes without a spare. I've been stranded twice already.
