I was extremely satisfied with my experience for the regular maintenance i had performed on my Optima. Shaun was completely on target and was fantastic at communicating. The only thing that would have made it 100% would have been a more timely shuttle. I do realize that one person could be only in one place at a time but, more than one person could be picking up and dropping off customers. Other than that, 100%.
Had my first visit to Southwest Kia, such nice friendly people work there. I left feeling totally confident that my car is going to be taken care of in my new home state of Texas. Even the parts and service director John Scurlock took time out to visit and welcome me.
As most people do, I did not go in intending on buying a vehicle...just look! But they help me look at my different options, and was very patient with my wife and I. I'm not one who gets into a hurry when making any kind of purchase...especially a car. Joe Perez and the Kia team were very good at working to try to win our business. They were not pushy as some salesman are and once we made our decision to buy, it was probably within an hour of us signing the paperwork and were heading home. Great service. I had an appointment for an oil change, tire rotation and a software flash updat recall. My appointment was at 0800 and I arrived at 0745. Left the dealership at 0930. Seemed a little long but no big deal, they also washed the outside of my truck!
Megan and Daniel took great care of us when we bought a new minivan. Megan answered all the questions we had and had a great sense of humor, making things a lot more enjoyable- I hate car shopping. Daniel got us through the financing quickly and painlessly. We walked out of there with a good price based on my research. Overall, a good experience.
If you're buying, call Brian Giroux. If you're taking your car in for service, use Alan Solis. I've purchased two cars from BMW of Austin; both of which were great experiences. Brian was knowledgeable, helpful, not pushy, and was super polite to me, my wife, and daughter each time. Alan Solis in service is also amazing. He's kept me informed every time I take my car in, made sure I had a loaner if it was a longer appointment, and breaks down what can wait, and what needs to happen now. Both of these guys are phenomenal and I HIGHLY recommend them.
