I like the fact that Mid-Illini stocks quality cars that are in demand. They allowed me to take my prospective car to a local mechanic to have it looked over. I appreciate the honest upfront discussion on price and the care that they had for me as a customer and balance that with their needs to make money on the vehicle.
I bought a 2007 Chevrolet SS and I'm in love with this car very clean inside and out, but what stood out the most was the friendly staff particularly, Jessica she was awesome she made me feel at home very professional, and got me in and out efficiently, with that thank you so much and will recommend anyone I come across to come see you guys.

I bought my Chrysler 300S a month ago at Ray Dennison and it was the best car buying experience I have ever had. Chris Kamp was our salesman and he let us know he was there but gave us the room we needed to look and decide. He even sat with me in the new car to review all of the awesome features and answer questions. He even checked to make sure everything was going well some time after my purchase!!
I had an Auto Shop do the repair on the wrong side of the car. It was a minor repair but they still charged me.
I took it to Scherer Mazda and told them about the experience and asked them if they sold the auto shop the part. They did but the Parts employee was fantastic! So, while I went to schedule my routine maintenance appointment in Service, he actually called the auto shop and made sure they are not going to make me pay for their mistake. I am getting the car fixed again next week.
It is stuff like this that makes Scherer Mazda stand out from the rest. I have never had a bad experience with these guys. I will definitely be back.
I was in a lease with a 2015 Kia Optima, and I had gone over my miles. Not good, but I traveled a lot for work. Upon arriving at KIA in Bloomington, I was greeted by TJ, the GM. We discussed how I need to get out of my current lease and into a new one before I get into a bigger hole! TJ explained in detail how the process works and got me into a new lease! He then passed me to Jordan, probably his top salesman! He was very nice and easy to talk too! He knew the ins and outs of all the vehicles and got me into a 2019 Kia Optima! A week later he had me come in and he detailed my new Optima and went over all the new functions in the car! Very happy with my purchase and the overall experience! Thank you O’Brien Kia!!
Jason Williams did a very good job finding us exactly what we wanted (a blue Kia Niro plug-in hybrid - not easy to find in the midwest!) for a great price. This lets us drive in EV mode (no gas) for all city driving, plus gets great gas mileage when in hybrid mode on the highway. Plus with the federal tax credit, total price is no different from Niro hybrid without the plug-in feature. Great car, great dealership.
Was in a VERY stressful situation. Came across O'brian Kia in Bloomington, Il. I talked to Allison. She was amazing! She helped me through EVERYTHING!! Thanks to her I'm leaving with a new car!

I was a hundred miles from home and 200 miles from my starting point when my BMW blew a tire. It was a holiday and I was in the middle of nowhere with all service closed. I called the BMW 800 number and thankfully they towed my car to BMW of Bloomington. I received a call Tuesday morning and learned I had to get new tires and they also performed the regular maintenance. I was concerned and surprised because my car had just been in my BMW service center for maintenance in July. I never thought once that my tires were bad. BMW 800 service got me a LIFT ride home, 110 miles with a wonderful BMW driver that told me Bloomington BMW was the best.
I had no idea how I would get my car home. I asked Jeremy for ideas when he called me. When my car was complete with new tires, break service and who knows what else, Jeremy called me with a plan. Ed Jackson drove my car to my door over a 100 miles away followed by another driver who drove them both back to Bloomington. I don't know much about cars and I rely on my dealer and the service to guide me and keep me safe. I'm so grateful that my catastrophy happened near Bloomington. You haven't seen the last of me.
