Purchased 2010 ES350 with 65000 miles 4 years ago. I did my research in advance and now fully agree with the “bulletproof” qualities often used by owners who describe this vehicle. I have adhered to factory-schedule maintenance, however, not performed by a Lexus dealer. Rather, an ASE-certified shop who know Lexus/Toyotas. I now have 125k on the clock and have spent about $1,200 in non-maintenance repairs. Specifically, oxygen sensors et.al. 31 MPG highway, 25 around town. Drives like my wife’s much newer MB sedan without the anxiety of potential repair costs.

In my opinion, the 2020 Lexus ES is the best midsize sedan on the market. Featuring a 3.5L Naturally aspirated V6 making 302 HP and 267 (not 266) pounds feet of torque, it’s 195 inches long with a wheel base of 113 inches which makes this drive like a boat, it drives a lot like its bigger brother, the LS—luxurious and composed— but that’s more of a yacht compare to ES. Firstly I’m going to highlight my experience with the car daily driving it. I absolutely love this car, on start up while the engine is cold it is a bit jerky, I’m referring to the Asian 8 speed tranny, it doesn’t like cold fluids what so ever, the engine is loud as it use direct injection instead of the port injection (D4s) while cold. But after it warms up it’s like floating on a cloud, even over bostons worst roads, wind noise is minimal, road noise is non existence and the ambiance of the cabin is amazing, I love driving it, dry smooth, I doesn’t hunt for gears as much as people say but it does jerk at times at low speeds especially if your coming to a stop and you let on the gas instead of hitting zero, it shocks the car and the tranny jerks you into 2nd, turns are very bubbly you feel like your on a bouncy castle, I also need to highlight the personality of ES, 302 HP.. this ain’t no itty bitty 4 banger, ain’t no civic, this is an ES, its own world, it’s fast.. it has no forced induction so from a roll yes you are slow but highway speeds? Man the linear power delivery, it’s so smooth and fast, I can go 120 no problem, I love it so much, but that’s not what the cars about.. but I can be.. it has its limits. The FWD system is fine, 0 torque steer.. I mean there’s a bit but it only becomes prominent if you don’t know how to drive lol, the unibody construction is very planted and structurally intact. It can take an emergency panic steer at 45 MPH easy & hard breaking is done like a champ. The triple beam head lights are amazing the way they follow the direction of the wheel at night. I don’t really have any complaints about ES, besides that jerky tranny but it’s only on cold starts and only when you don’t know how to drive it. The safety systems are lovely, I really like the Lexus touch pad, I love seeing my screen on a sunny day finger print free!! Makes it look elegant, never been a touch screen fan to begin with, I just don’t like how Lexus stops you from being able to interact with the touch pad while the car is in motion but it’s a safety feature. It’s not a perfect car but xxxx is it a great one.. I had Lexus’ my whole life so maybe I’m biased.. I encourage reads to look up the downs sides.. you’ll see people always say the tranny is jerky.. nothing else beside that. And the maintenance? Can’t beat 90$ at the DEALERSHIP I love it, it’s cheap to run and oh it takes regular!! Huge win!! People turn heads when in drive in.. because I have THE Lexus ES, guys skip the base get the triple beams and it elevates your car, the ultra luxury package is amazing, I have every available option you could of speced back in 2020, it’s just such a nice car I love it!!! Please guys buy an ES if you want a smooth reliable comfortable sedan, if you wanna go go go, or something cheaper get a BMW. Or a Honda.

I bought a 2006 RX400H because I didn’t want a car payment anymore from a 2021 Toyota RAV4 XSE. Even though this car is older - it’s 100x more smoother than my 2021, and the ride quality outshined the RAV4 by a landslide. I can’t recommend this car enough!

I picked my '99 up a few years ago for $1600. After some suspension work, a manual transmission swap and a rebuilt motor, it was better than new. Here's what I like about it: -It's punchy. The 98-2000 model has 300hp, it's about as quick as most much newer v6 muscle cars. 0-60 is in 5.5 seconds out of the box. -It's comfortable. Almost too comfortable. It feels dead to drive, like you could be driving 90 on the freeway and fall asleep kind of comfortable. -The sound system is good out of the box. -It's a fully loaded luxury car, which means power headrests, ashtrays in the back, woodgrain, nice looking dash that looks way newer than the car, very nice quality seats. -Steering is effortless at lower speeds, and stiffer at higher speeds. It's vacuum assisted. -Engine and transmission are very well built on these cars, but that doesn't mean that the accessories and bearings around it don't fail. Things I don't like: -Even though the engines are bulletproof, be wary of valve cover gaskets, timing belt replacement, cam and crank seals, vvti gear o rings, starter usually goes out at 150k and is kind of a pain. -Out of the box it feels very numb. Lots of body roll. Almost feels like driving a giant quick SUV. You could be doing 120 miles per hour, and still feel like you're doing 40. It's like driving a cloud, which is great to some people but I would highly suggest aftermarket suspension to remedy this.

i bought a lexus gs300 from this dealer. the process was easy and did not feel pressured at any point. they let you take the vehicle to a local mechanic as well. i left a deposit on the car for 3 days so it did not sell while i was waiting to get there. the deposit went to the purchase price. I purchased my 2001 LS 430 in 2007 with only 28000 miles . It’s been great. Can’t keep my wife out of it. She drives a ES 350 2014. It’s great also. You can’t beat this vehicle. Very low maintenance. Great power at 202,000 miles, and still runs great. I don’t think I’ll ever get tired of this car. Stil has the same great look of a new car

She is one in a million and I can't give her a high enough rating for the experience I have been provided on the many trips for service on my vehicle.

Bought my first car here in May 2015. Everyone was helpful and honest. My car is a 2003 Hyundai Sonata and was pleased to see it had been washed and detailed when I went to take it home! Very honest about the value of the cars and what's wrong with them. I was overwhelmed deciding what car would be best for me but they give enough space to not feel heckled into a certain car and they are very fair with prices. I have a 2007 Lexus ls460 didn’t really have a problem with it just the torque converter In transmission. I had the extra $ so I had my mechanic rebuild the whole transmission and put new torque converters he did my engine seals starter and other things while he had transmission out

I assumed the hype was a bit over the top, I had high expectations and it still exceeded those expectations by many magnitude. The LS430 is as good as a car gets, and feels much more luxurious then many new BMW’s or Mercedes all while being dependable. Not much more you can ask for

Saw the car online as I was looking for a gently used Yukon or Suburban. Checked it out in person and fell in love with the color. Went back a couple of days later and was able to work out a great deal with Jeff. He took care of everything. Everyone should have such an easy time buying a car! We own a 2001 Lexus LS 430 and it’s a great, reliable car! Not a race car, but luxurious, fun and a great value! A good amount of bang for your buck!

The service rep. Ish Edun was very helpful and efficient. He was courteous and professional. The waiting area was very clean and comfortable as i had 2 hour wait. Also coffee and snacks were provided.

It is unique to have those three characteristics in one vehicle. Reliability: I had 11 years RX350 with zero problems. Just regular maintenance. This was a reason I purchased a new one. Luxury: It is very quiet and comfortable ride, perfect ergonomic seats and suspension, really luxury filling. Spacious front and rear seats, adequate cargo volume and driving assist features. 4-cylinder engine is maybe loud above 2000 rpm, but normal drive do not reach this number. Fuel Efficiency: Car computer was showing 45 MPG for city driving, but brochure shows 37MPG. i decided to check this discrepancy in reality by counting mileages and fuel gallons on gas station. Results were 46.02MPG! I checked milage accuracy comparing to navsat and gallons with weight method. Both measurements were accurate. I even reached 50MPG with city drive, slow acceleration, long braking distances and gliding ride! Conclusion: I lost refinement of V6 but increase fuel efficiency for 100% and earned many features that absolutely make sense to get this car. It is not for someone who ask for sporty style driving, but has sufficient power to easy overtake any vehicle on highway.

Routine service was fast efficient and friendly. Appointment time was made so car was taken into service and received routine service that included tire rotation and returned quickly.

Overall, I love this car. However, I have yet to figure out how the intermittent wipers work. Why did they put a cheesy clock that doesn't work in such an other wise fine car?

I bought my GS F about a year ago and have been enjoying it ever since, adding about 12,000 miles already. What a great all-around sports sedan that can be used for everything from commuting to work to track days to road trips! The power from the naturally aspirated V8 is plenty of fun, especially when you put the car in it's various sport modes, while in "normal" mode the car drives like any other Lexus sedan. Handling in the twisties is phenomenal with the TVD (torque vectoring differential) which comes standard on the GS F. Mark Levinson audio is a must; this system blows other manufacturer's "premium audio" options out of the water, including B&W, Burmeister, and other "high end" brands used in Mercedes, BMW, and the like. One thing to look out for if you're buying one of these cars used is the carbon fiber trim on the interior likes to start delaminating. It is a fairly common issue with these cars, and it seems like the hotter climates tend to cause it to happen more frequently than not. This is a very expensive fix if you want to use the OEM parts through the dealer. Summary: if you're considering a GS F, just do it, or at least go drive one. You likely won't be disappointed. This car is a great value for the money and it can feel like you're driving something much more expensive than it is.

Never a "have to have it" kind of car guy until I saw, researched and drove this car. It's a solid, powerful, and super slick cabriolet that only catches the eye of the passionate. It has a beautiful saddle leather interior with gorgeous wood details and a really good stereo that rivals todays' car stereos. It has strong and silent 4.3 V8 that is top of the list reliable. I bought my 2002 in 2023 and fixed a few things with the audio system and is now a low-mile like-new car. I love driving it when I can and will til I can't drive anymore.

I recently bought a 2007 Lexas LS 470 and so far I love it. I would not recommend it for a bigger person as its hard for me to get comfortably in and out. It rides amazing and seems to have been well taken care of, it almost feels like a new engine, very quick and powerful, feels like it has a turbo, with no lag in response. The only real thing i don't like about it is its hard for me to get into and out of and it requires premium gas. I also think look wise they are absolutely beautiful cars. Im not sure how long I'll keep it as I don't keep cars very long.

Searched high and low for a nice vehicle for months. I visited tens of car lots and God just did not see fit for me to purchase from them. Either they jacked the prices up tremendously from what the vehicle was actually worth or when you would start the car, it had several code lights on. I took my time and I found swerve auto. Listen, when I spoke with Zach over the telephone, he was very confident in his vehicles and stood behind them in a way that made me want to come and see for myself. When I arrived to his lot, not only did he have great cars, trucks and SUV’s, but the prices was reasonable asking price to pay cash for. Zach was so nice and professional! All of his vehicles were cleaned up immaculately, I was afraid that I was over budget for the suv that I really wanted. Listen, Zach made a way for me to take my dream car home and listen it’s mine!! He was so passionate about making sure that I was happy, It was unbelievable. My truck was so clean it looked as if no one even ever drove it. Miles were low and again, the price was fair. Just a spectacular vehicle. Quiet, comfortable, a joy to drive. While I am not knocking American auto workers, I like the fact this one is only made in Japan, I think their reliability is even better. Whenever I get in another car, it's ride pales in comparison to my LS460L.
