2022 Mazda CX-5 review
We have owned our 2022 CX-5 Turbo for 10 moths and it is a great vehicle. Our previous SUV was an Acura RDX Advance. It too was great but this Mazda is of a higher quality and $10-$15,000 less when purchased new. Every once in a while the doors don’t lock when I walk away (I have it set up to do so) and that is the only issue I have had in 10 months and 10,000 miles. I highly recommend any Mazda product. We also own a ‘21 Miata RF, have owned several Miatas along with a Mazda6 Signature and a CX-9 Grand Touring. All have been great vehicles.

2022 Mazda CX-5 review
Have had our 2022 for 8 months now. It's been great, the fit/finish and ride are superior, IMHO, then my previous CRV and Rav4 vehicles. The only thing I would like to see is a touch screen entertainment center rather then the manual knob. The interior is well laid out with quality accents, feel and quiet, again far superior to our previous SUVs. So far it's been mechanically sound with no issues and we are enjoying it very much.

Was a bit put off by the fact that there’s one number for all Carmax is and. It’s hard to tell which location you’re talking to and if you’re talking to a person at that actual location. I understand they’re trying to consolidate things and make it easier, but I want to be able to reach someone, boots on the ground, at the location instead of talking to The call center. That said it seems even when talking to two different dealerships somehow the system sort out the messages but again it’s confusing. Overall, they were fast and friendly, we haven’t done a transaction yet but one thing that was surprising is the offer they gave me 10 days ago has now gone up by $1500. Much better experience than I had braced myself for frankly. So far the two cars that I was hoping to purchase turn out to be duds as they had some excessive wear and tear in spite of low mileage and otherwise good conditions. Maybe less discriminating on their inventory than the other dealers?

The Mazda cx5 Premium Plus Package includes easy to use center console-controlled display, heated steering wheel, heated and airconditioned front seats and heated rear seats as well as Memory controlled seats, mirror and Heads Up Display adjustments for 2 drivers. The Door and console trim is designed to match the Leather appointed seats with matched stitching. The 2.5 Liter engine offers the power and acceleration you would expect from a premium model. Sport Mode is available with the push of a button. The control panel for the Display are center console mounted to scroll through options with the touch of a Game Console type mechanism. Audio is fully customizable. The Mazda App alerts you of tire pressure, oil level and service warnings as well as a remote start and remote lock features. Front seat leg room is better than expected, though rear seat leg room is limited. Rear seats with a 60/40 split fold easily without removing the leather appointed head rests. Control your variable speed control, audio options and phone integrated into the heated leather appointed steering wheel. The Dash Board display includes your safety features, maximum mileage, current mileage per hour, speed and RPM displays as well as several other warnings including speed limit signs. Built-in Navigation is available as well as Android and Apple Play. Set your lighting options in the auto mode as well as adjust the rain sensitive windshield wipers. An awesome Premium Ride at a Moderate Price, with appointments typically found in omly Luxury vehicles. I recieve approximately 22 miles per hour city and 32 miles highway for a 28 miles per gallon mixed driving.

I recently had my 2023 CRV in for an oil change where it was discovered there was a oil leak from a bad gasket in the timing chain cover. Jim Boyd, my service advisor, quickly got me scheduled for repair as I only had four days left on the manufacturers warranty. The repairs were made in house and I have had no issues since. I was very pleased with the mechanic who did the repairs and with Jim, who made sure things were done in a timely manner before the warranty expir ation date. Good job folks!
