2023 Mazda CX-5 review
I bought my 2023 CX-5 Premium Plus back in March and haven’t regretted my choice since. I love this car! Took awhile to acclimate to the infotainment selection dial, but now that I have, it’s easy to use. The interior design and component selection are impeccable. The handling and acceleration (for a 4 cylinder) are also very impressive. Only con is the limited cargo space.

2023 Mazda CX-5 review
We looked at Honda, Toyota, Nissan, Hyundai, and Mazda and selected the Mazda CX-5. Honda and Toyota have priced themselves out of the middle-class budget, and Nissan’s Achilles Heel is their very brittle CVT transmission. Mazda is by far the best-looking, has AWD as standard equipment (a $1,200 to $1,500 option on other brands), easy-to-read gauges and dash, nice sound system, soft-touch dash and doors usually found only on “premium” brands, the best price, and the most beautiful factory color on the road: Soul Red. Our family has owned vehicles from all 5 companies, and have been totally happy with our problem-free CX-3. Anyone looking to buy a compact crossover should consider the CX-5.

I went to Carmax on 4th of July. The place was not super packed, so that was great. We had a little 9th month old on tow, and were nervous that it would take us all day to shop. The only thing that took a lot of time was waiting for a sales man. Apparently, the new young guys at the front were more interested in flirting (yes flirting) with each other and playing around than realizing that we needed help or just plainly asking us if we were being helped. That really bothered me, as we wasted 30 mins just sitting dumb. The front desk girl was no help.. she was the one to tell us to sit and wait and then no where to be seen. Finally someone professional and extremely courteous walked by ... the service manager. He quickly apologized for our wait, and brought along Daniel Claudio. I am SOOOOOOOOOOOooooO thankful he did. Danny was professional, kind, humble, hard-working, and just all the way a pleasure to work with. He represented Carmax the way it should be. He took the details of what we were looking for and walked us around to cars that would fit our needs. The second car (nissan pathfinder) was a recommendation from him... and that was the car we bought. Danny if you're reading this... THANK YOU! They even provide courtesy rides within a certain distance from the shop so I ended up not having to get a rent a car. The car was fixed that afternoon & drove better than it has in a long time. They told me they do all kinds of work, even inspections. Their garages are air conditioned & very clean too so the mechanics can stay to finish your vehicle & not leave early due to temperature changes. The charges to fix my car were better or equal to other garages & the quality of work was amazing for the money. Most of the time they can take you the same day as you need them so no rent a car costs. I am surely going back to the CarShop in Glen Mills for future work. Also the staff is wonderful too; I spoke a lot to Eric, and also to Lisa & Morgan. They are all very helpful & kind.

2023 Mazda CX-5 review
I am delighted with my 2023 CX-5 Signature in the hard-to-find Eternal Blue. I've had it about one year now and it's more than adequate for my driving needs. No, I don't need a rattle-prone pano sunroof. The six-speed non-CVT transmission is just fine. Never need or use(less) the paddle shifters. Performance with regular fuel is just fine. As an "early senior", I don't need huge cargo or passenger space. Only complaints are the Apple CarPlay isn't wireless; and miss the power tilt/telescope steering wheel and power memory exit seat that I had on my unbeloved '20 Lexus NX (which I was glad to get rid of!). All told, I'm a Mazda believer and buh-bye Lexus!

2023 Mazda CX-5 review
The CX5 is a great vehicle for a great price!! I find this SUV to be very comfortable to drive and it handles great on the highway as well as the back roads! The simplicity of the interior design is a welcome change for me. I found all the touch screen technology of my other vehicle was very distracting while driving and it was just more to go wrong!
