2024 Mazda CX-5 review
I absolutely love my 2024 CX5 Preferred. It's my first SUV and my first Mazda (after 3 Cutlasses, 2 BMW's, an Audi, an Acura, and 4 Lexus sedans) and I couldn't be happier. The interior is luxurious, the ride is powerful yet smooth and quiet (equal to Lexus) and the handling is great. I test drove a RAV4 and a CRV and there was no comparison. It's fun to drive and I recommend it whole-heartedly.

2024 Mazda CX-5 review
Very impressive mid sized SUV. Very solid handling, great on gas, and looks solid. Very happy with the purchase. I don’t write many reviews, but Gabby absolutely earned this one. I started with an online inquiry and received a quick response from Napleton Mazda. I shopped several Mazda dealerships before making my decision, and working with Gabby is ultimately what brought me to Napleton. I had my heart set on a very specific CX-70 in Zircon Sand Metallic, and they were surprisingly hard to find. After test-driving one at another dealership, I knew that was the color I wanted. I called Gabby, expecting to hear, “Sorry, we don’t have one.” Instead, she immediately started searching dealer inventory and told me she’d do everything she could to find one. She tracked down several possibilities, followed up with other dealerships, ruled one out after learning it had been damaged, and then located another one that was exactly what I was looking for. She and the Napleton team went out and got the vehicle for me. That level of effort meant a lot because she wasn’t just trying to sell me what was on her lot—she was determined to get me the exact vehicle I wanted. I’ll admit, some people might see a young salesperson and make assumptions. Don’t make that mistake. Gabby is incredibly knowledgeable about the Mazda lineup, answered every question I had, and never once made me feel pressured. She took the time to listen, explain my options, and made sure I was comfortable every step of the way. What impressed me the most wasn’t just her knowledge—it was how much she genuinely cared. Her communication was outstanding. She always responded quickly, kept me updated throughout the process, and followed through on everything she said she would do. In today’s world, that kind of customer service is hard to find. My wife and I left feeling like we were treated with honesty, respect, and appreciation—not like we were just another sale. 2024 Mazda CX-5 review
This is my first CX-5. I love it. Previously I drove a mazda tribute which was a 6 cylinder. I was reluctant to purchase a smaller vehicle with a smaller engine, but I’ve been pleased. My only negative comment is regarding the leg room in the back seat. It’s not great but workable for most average size adults.

I was very pleased with my experience. I started at CarMax to "try on" several cars from several manufacturers. The salesman (Jack) was happy to oblige, despite it being cold and rainy. We walked the lot and I sat in ~20 cars. I went home and researched them some more, scheduled a few to test drive and came back on Jack's day off. This time, I worked with Brandon for a few test drives and discussed other vehicles at nearby CarMax locations. They found a vehicle that fit my requirements and transported it in for me to test drive. A few days later, I was back for the final test drive, loved the car and purchased it. Communicated with John Leno from the Schaumburg facility online. John understood my needs and responded quickly with Jeeps to review - after a bit of humming and hawing on my part, I changed my mind to trucks. I found a truck at another facility, John had it tranferred and within 2 days my soon to be truck arrived - and it is a beauty. John was training Matt and they both demonstrated immense knowledge throughout the interaction and I appreciated the ease of communication (not pushy). I cannot comment on the financing portion of the transaction, but closing went just as smoothly with Hubert and his supervisor. WHile impressed with my transaction I was also impressed with the amount of time that was placed on the training of new employees, or employees transferring. While yes my truck need a repair on the fog lights, it is covered under their warranty, I am highly impressed with my experience. From walking in the front door, to having John take my picture of me and my truck with a giant yellow ribbon... every individual at Carmax truly made the buying and trading experience a wonderful experience. Team Schaumburg, keep up the great work, each of you understand the true meaning of Customer Service, and that is important to some customers like me who still cherish old school values.

Just wanted to mention that I had a great experience buying my F-Pace from Patrick Jaguar of Naperville. Dale was just fantastic and went above and beyond helping me during the the whole buying process. The rest of the team (Finance & GM) was also excellent in their interactions with me. I initially chose Patrick Jaguar because they were one of only 2 Jaguar dealerships in the area that were not marking up their vehicles over MSRP, specially the hard to get ones like the F-Pace SVR which I bought. I've only needed to use their service department for a minor cosmetic issue that was sorted out in one day. Great job all around.

2024 Mazda CX-5 review
This is my follow up review for 2024 Mazda CX-5 Carbon Edition. I have zero complaints or nits. With just under 3k miles I am now avg 31 mpg mostly on country roads and some city driving. No highway miles yet. Do not hesitate to buy this car you will not be dissapointed. I do wish this trim came with wireless carplay and android auto but I knew that when I purchased the car. The fit and finish is amazing.
