In the early stages of car shopping for a family-friendly SUV, we stopped by City Auto in Murfreesboro, TN while out there running errands. We were not there anticipating to purchase a vehicle that day. However, things changed.
Steven Ray, the salesman, was the first to greet us. He was not pushy, annoying, or anything like your stereotypical salesman would be in your head. He asked questions and let us talk more than he talked. He was very personable and made our experience outstanding. He provided a thorough answer to ever y question we had. If he didn't know, he made a quick phone call to get the answer we needed. He insisted a test drive in a few different models, just to get an idea of what we were looking for - even though we made it clear we weren't looking to purchase that day. (... I guess that's how they get you)
He walked us through what to expect in the buying process. Gave us little hints to get better pricing and APR.
After the sale, he called us numerous times to ensure that we were happy. A few days after the sale, a few weeks later, then a month or two down the road.
Highly recommend City Auto and especially Steven Ray.
I recommend the Mazda product and Sales rep, Elijah Taylor, great and great. Ben M in finance ruined the whole experience because he threw a tantrum when I did not wish to hear and or purchase extended warranty product. To the point of demanding why I would not listen to his whole sales pitch and confronting my spouse as to why she would not say anything. He has issues but I am choosing to give Elijah the 5 stars he deserves. The other guy is creepy and should never be left alone with customers.
Carol, my wife, and I stopped at the Nelson Mazda on Fortress Blvd to look at a family vehicle. We worked with Tommy Duncan who listened to our needs and concerns and provided options within our means. He understood what was important to us and what was not. By the end of the week we walked out proud owners of a new Mazda CX-5. Hands down the best experience we have ever had purchasing a car. We credit Tommy Duncan for that and would recommend anyone who is in the market for a vehicle to stop by Nelson Mazda of Murfreesboro and ask for Tommy Duncan!
Lonnie Stevens and the rest of the service staff were professional and friendly. I knew from talking to Lonnie that he was someone I could trust. I couldn't be happier with the service I received, and I will be recommending this location to my friends.
I thought customer service was a thing of the past until I walked into Nelson Mazda in Murfreesboro. I was treated like a member of their family. Tommy Duncan was absolutely great to work with. He listened to what I wanted and got me the perfect car. Randy gave me a great deal and treated me like a king. Trey in finance also was a pleasure to work with. The staff was so wonderful! Knowledgeable, friendly, patient, really wanted to make sure you were getting the best car for you and your family. Called ahead to schedule a test drive of an 07 fj. Levi met us at the door with keys and tags. He was very very informative and had all the answers to my questions. The salesman was extremely helpful and respectful. Many times going to a dealership can be an excruciating and intense experience, but our time there was delightful. The staff made us feel welcome and ensured that we looked forward to driving home in a new car without the sense of dread and uncertainty that comes with being pressured into a deal that wasn't right.

Tara was professional both on the emails and telephone exactly what I expected. I was super impressed with Tara need I say more? THANKS!! Also when I arrived Dave Mueller me us at the door and the entire experience was so much beyond my expectations I cannot explain how good it was!! This is the way car dealerships should be!!
Ty was very friendly, knowledgeable and professional in my transaction. I came in to see a spefic used Ram truck and he did not try to convert me to another vehicle. Got deal done in timely matter and very satisfied.
Everyone from salesperson, manager to finance was fantastic! I have always been so weary of dealerships because of the hassling the salesmen do, but Dave Mueller was absolutely amazing! He answered all of mine and my husband's questions, addressed any issues immediately and did everything he could to make our experience great! This was greatly appreciated because we drove over an hour and a half to get there. The sales manager, Patrick was equally as amazing, as well as, Scott in finance! I would recommend this dealership to anyone!
Buying a car can be a rough experience and my wife and I went in bracing for a long day and prepared for tough negotiating etc, but Nelson Mazda really made this a seamless and enjoyable process. Especially loved working with Levi our sales rep. Knowledgeable, funny and above and beyond helpful guy that made it the best car buying experience we???ve ever had. Oh, and we???ve been loving our new Mazda CX-5 too.
I both bought and sold a car here recently. My sales associate CARLTON BOWEN was fantastic.
SOLD: They gave me a very fair price on a 2003 Honda CRV with roughly 180K miles. The process was quick and painless. You do not have to buy a car from them to sell a car to them. I had done my homework before and knew what it was worth and I was offered a price higher than Kelly Blue Book.
BUY: Buying a used car was more complicated. It took test driving many and lots of time on their website before I found one that met the very specific details I was looking for. I decided on CarMax because I did have a very specific car in mind that I had not been able to find private seller in the two plus months I'd been looking. Also, my sales associate CARLTON BOWEN was fantastic.He spent roughly a month helping me look at cars making calls to other dealerships and coordinating multiple test drives etc. I know having him as a salesperson made a huge difference. I had looked at other dealerships and was treated only like a wallet from the moment I entered. He worked hard to help me find what I needed in a car and was pleasant and respectful the entire time. Not at all the experience I had at other dealerships. With all of the hidden fees etc other places have, carmax was not more expensive. I was glad not to give my money to sketchy people at another place.
Evan was awesome! We drove 3 hours after finding the car online. The Sonic Price made it simple - I knew it was a great deal and I didn't have to waste my time haggling to get the price where it should be. Because of the drive, we got in a little late but Evan, Kurt & Anita stayed to help us get everything taken care of. Everyone was friendly and welcoming and Evan was a pleasure to deal with. I could not be happier with my car buying experience!
I had a slight problem with the side steps for this truck but once it was brought to the attention of my salesman, Darren, it was dealt with and resolved promptly. I am very happy with my experience with Stan McNabb Chevrolet and would highly recommend them to anyone looking to buy a new or used car or truck. Ask for Darren. He will treat you right.
