2026 Volkswagen Atlas review
While sales noted it has cameras, it is only for backing up, not when parking and looking for a forward camera. Not having either auto fold in mirrors or memory for seat (only available on their most expensive model) turns out to be quite inconvenient. Car is quite comfortable and roomy, especially the 3rd row.

2026 Mercedes-Benz GLC 350e review
Just leased a 2026 GLC350e coming from a 2023 Mercedes EQB300. The EQB was by far the worst and least dependable car I've ever owned. In one month of driving, my initial impressions of the GLC350e are very positive. First of all, from just the cosmetic aspect, it is so much more "Mercedes like" than the EQB, having also owned earlier GLC as well as GLE models. It is far more like a GLE than even my previous C class. Materials, fit and finish, luxury and ride are superb. There is a real advancement in MBUX and electronics. While I like pure EV, it alas just isn't terribly practical now. The GLC350e is rated at 54 miles pure EV but in the first month in albeit warmer weather I'm seeing range up to 70 miles. Everything about this car is smooth, comfortable and attractive. The Verde Silver Metallic paint elicits lots of complements. I cannot yet speak to reliability since the vehicle still only has 500 miles on odometer and I'll revise this review as appropriate. In ICE mode, the 4 cylinder is a bit sluggish but at 77 years old, so am I. I don't see the 4 as a real issue but I did prefer my 6 cyl GLE. So, very positive initial review.

2026 Honda Passport review
I've had the vehicle for 2 weeks. I like it but it's ridiculous the AC is not cold enough because it automatically keeps switching to "woke" mode. Meaning, Economy Drive mode. No way to switch it. Honda needs to fix this. The AC sucks in the 2026 Passport top model

Going through the Costco Auto Program helped in saving a couple hundred dollars, and a quicker than usual purchase. To top it off, there's no markups on the vehicles. I would definitely recommend Capitol Mazda to everyone, and would definitely return at some point in the future for a second purchase.
2026 Mazda Mazda3 review
Bought 26' Mazda 3 hatchback Premium 6spd. While this car occupies a niche segment, a manual transmission car (not a CUV), it is a practical daily commuter car that also brings some driving joy to my enthusiast side. This model has been around since 2019 but still looks like it could have been a new model release. The interior is one of the nicest in the segment. All places touched frequently are covered in soft plastics or leather. The options include a complete host of safety and driver aids, headup display, lane departure, and adaptive cruise are actually helpful and not intrusive. I enjoy the Bose 12spkr system while rowing through the gears. The transmission is smooth and precise. This is not a fast car but it is a joy driving with spirit. The back seats are snug but our young children fit comfortably. The rear hatch is deep and fits enough for getaways or Costco runs. The handling is confidence inspiring that keeps you grinning even well within the car's limits. Having owned other Mazdas including Mazda6 6spd v6, CX 5 twice...the Mazda 3 hasn't disappointed. The Mazda 3 is a fun car that delivers a rewarding experience, decent fuel efficiency, adequate practicality, and an interior that feels premium. 2026 Nissan Rogue review
I’ve only had my Rogue Platinum for three weeks so not much history, however, I am very pleased with my purchase so far. The comfort level is terrible, the ride is smooth. Personally, I also think the exterior has a really good look. As for the interior, we specifically chose the Chestnut color and it is exactly what I wanted.

I thought I had a loan pre-approved thru my credit union. He set me up with a computer to go online and finish up with them. They were a disappointment. Johnny my rep has such good dry humor that I’ve got to stop for a minute and actually think as he takes the time to make me laugh through all the paperwork. The team always takes great care of my 2025 Mini SE Ive named Chase. They have even on occasion began calling my mini by the name I gave him. Waiting in their lovely lounge full of complimentary snacks and an automated espresso machine makes me forget I’m waiting for my car. The engine light was on in my Mini Clubman, and the car had a shake during idle. Turned out the warning light was because of heavy contamination on the Venturi valve. It was essential to fix this, required waiting a day to get the part, and the fix was done by 9am the next day. The shake was because of a loose engine mount. Not critical yet but noticeable. We decided to wait on this while I decide on my next steps - fix, or get another car, which I have been thinking of anyway. Meanwhile they loaned me a Mini convertible. Real fun for a whole day!

They had me in and out in less than 3hours and they were easy to work with, were very straightforward, and had very little bs to drag you around and keep you there forever. Overall, great experience buying my first car.
2026 Lexus IS 350 review
I needed another car because my car was on the outs and I had been googling and reviewing cars for about 6 months and Lexus really caught my eye. The ratings and comparisons to like cars was what made my decision for me. I've had the car now for about 3 weeks and it is a joy to drive. There are some safety additions I have to get used to but overall, I'm pretty happy with this vehicle.
