2016 Nissan Altima review
I bought my 2016 Altima SL new with 2.5 motor. The SL model has some great options on it! I love this car! 39-47 highway (usually on trips 40 and up, 36 around town. Better than what it said I would get! Very comfortable, great acceleration. Not very many 2016 SL out there. Everything I wanted and with only 51,000 miles. Got lucky with this one!

2018 Nissan Maxima review
I bought a 2018 Maxima SL brand new. Have owned it over 6 years. Very comfortable, fast and fun to drive. Great brakes and safety suite is excellent. Adaptive cruise control has spoiled me. Have had no issues whatsoever with this car. No repairs. Just oil changes (synthetic) and new tires in the 6 years along with air filters.

2023 Nissan Maxima review
This is my 4th Maxima. I have the SR version and it has four things that I don’t like. The CVT, cheap paint, “too light” steering in corners and the harsh ride. The CVT is actually not bad but I prefer a true automatic or manual gear box for more spirited driving. I had my CVT fluid changed at the dealer at 23,000 miles, I’m gonna keep a schedule to change it every 20,000 miles or two years to be on the safe side. The paint job is probably the cheapest quality paint I’ve ever seen on a car. It scratches easily and I’m sure with the Vegas heat, it will probably be prone to fade in 3 years so I got it treated to prevent that from happening. The steering is fine in straight driving and changing lanes but when you hit a curve, it feels so light that it’s like being disconnected from the road. This is the first car I’ve ever had that felt that way. Lastly is the harsh ride. I like a vehicle that has a firm but composed ride. It’s composed but too firm. I think I’m gonna buy some Continentals, the rubber is softer than what I have now. I bought this car as a collector item I want to fix up that I drive only a few times because they don’t make them anymore. It’s a nice ride but Nissan should have let it go out in style. They should have made it all wheel drive and a 9 speed automatic. I may look into getting it converted but it’s gonna cost a lot to do it. It’s a very nice car, gets good gas mileage and is trouble free so far. Nissan should have kept it around and just updated it.

2025 Nissan Sentra review
This is a well put together vehicle. Interior fit and finish, even for the base S model, is splendid and many newer safety features come standard. The seats on the base S are very comfortable on long drives. Ive read a few "pro" reviews that mentioned the engine being underpowered, especially for highway passing. I have found the opposite out of this beautiful 149 hp CVT. I mean it's 149 hp, not 189; not sure where any complaint of being underpowered comes from? And, the CVT has wonderfully placed mimick shift points that make you feel like its a non-cvt transmission. Besides being ahead of the others with the interior, it's a well insulated cabin which deafens quite a bit of road noise. If your thinking about a Nissan Sentra, don't listen to these "professional" knucklehead reviewers. I believe they're not as accurate as the average Joe like us and have lost sight of what a great entry level sedan is.

2021 Nissan Altima review
The 2021 Altima is a good but not great car. I have the SL trim which comes with more interior comfort and 1 of 2 extra features. I like the sporty style and tech features but the CVT transmission sucks sometimes. If I had to buy a sedan again I would choose a BMW 3 series instead cuz I like excellence in cars. But overall for anyone who would like to have something good and basic pros, yes the Altima can make it.

Surprising power on the highway. Great gas mileage. Very roomy interior, and the dash and radio buttons and components are very easy to see and use. We chose this over an Accord, initially because the local Honda dealer is crazy, but we like everything about it.

2022 Nissan Sentra review
Great car for commuting. Have high safety scores which I tested on March 30th. I was hit from behind at 50mph and I walked away. My 2022 Monarch Orange/Black Sentra SR was shortened by 3 feet front and back. I just bought a 2023 Gun metal/Black SR Premium to replace the 2022. Best small car I driven to date.

2025 Nissan Sentra review
This car does exactly what I needed a new car to do. I bought mine in July of 2025 and now 7 months later I have not had one issue with it. It gets great gas mileage, is very comfortable and I love the info system and stereo, For the money you cannot go wrong, this is my first foreign car and now I am done paying a arm and a leg for anything from Ford or GM.

2020 Nissan Altima review
I’ve owned a lot of vehicles over the years, and this 2020 Altima SL truly stands out for its balance of comfort, technology, reliability, and value. The SL trim gives it a premium feel inside — heated seats, heated steering wheel, power driver seat, and a power moonroof make it comfortable year-round. The ride is smooth and quiet, and the 2.5 engine delivers excellent fuel economy while still having plenty of power for highway driving. What really makes this car special is the factory lighting package — illuminated Altima plates, ground lighting when the doors open, color-change floor lighting, and illuminated cup holders. At night, the car looks upscale and unique without being flashy. Safety features like front and rear radar, lane assist, and intelligent cruise control make long drives stress-free and modern. Everything works exactly as it should. The interior is clean, the body is in great condition, and it’s been well maintained. With two factory keys and remotes included, it’s fully ready for its next owner. Overall, this Altima SL offers luxury features without the luxury price tag. This was the best experience I've ever had with a dealership. My sales associate AJ, was truly an expert on not only the vehicle that he showed me, but on the company as a whole. He was able to demonstrate how to use all the fancy safety features and explain what they did, and answer any questions I had with confidence. He was so friendly with both my daughters, and went out of his way to make sure I was comfortable. AJ was very open and honest about all the different dealership fees that would add on to the total purchase price, and explained what they all were. He was quick to respond to any messages, and did a great job of keeping my needs and wants for the vehicle in mind when showing me different options. They gave me a good offer on my trade in, even though it was less than I owed on the vehicle. He and his manager Paul were even willing to come up on the trade in offer, but my vehicle has a bad accident from the previous owner on the carfax. Paul explained his reasoning for the offer which came directly from KBB (another dealership tried to offer me $2000 less with no rhyme or reason). I know dealership fees can be frustrating, but I think the fees at Volkswagen Brandon are fair compared to other dealerships in the area. AJ did definitely do his job as a car salesman and try to upset me, offering me finance options for New vehicles, but was completely respectful when I told him we weren't interested in financing or a new vehicle. He didn't keep pushing, instead focusing on trying to get me in a vehicle that fit our budget and that I loved. I absolutely adore my new 2023 Tiguan, and I 100% recommend Volkswagen Brandon for your vehicle needs.
2024 Nissan Versa review

Great mileage and very nice interior. Lotsa stuff but sadly only drivers window is auto. Wheels are terrible. They look great but very hard to clean. Good trunk space and nice seats. Having problems with backup camera it looks very foggy. Had it back to dealer twice, no luck. No CD player.. big downgrade.

2023 Nissan Altima review
Aesthetically pleasing. Awesome fuel economy!!! Handles well. I used to drive a 2018 Altima SV until a deer decided that i needed to purchase a new vehicle, otherwise, I'd still be driving that one which was totaled at 227k+ miles...190k+ miles by me (personally) in 4 and a half yrs. The front seats feel slightly smaller though....maybe it's just me.

CarMax Huntsville review
After checking all around for a lightly used Honda or Toyota minivan, I settled on CarMax since they had the ability to transfer several possible cars from nearby stores. I requested a transfer from Birmingham and it arrived earlier than promised. I test drove it, waited a week to make a final decision and made the purchase. The whole transaction was done professionally and without any extra sales pressure or tactics. This is the 2nd car in the last 6 years I've bought from CarMax and I'd certainly shop them again.
2023 Nissan Maxima review
I fell in love with the new bodystyle Maxima when it came out in 2016. I have it now for 7 years now with 99,212 miles and it is still drives smoothly. It's my baby. I am planning to put another 100,000 miles. I have no single problem at all but of course I am faithfully get it serviced. Sad that this will be the last year that they are making the Maxima. By the way, I named her Maxie.
