I have a 5door '98 that I kept in fairly original condition with regular maintenance & part-time winter 4wd use (a '09Yaris for daily & an mr2-s for summer). Will qualify for collector plate status here (BC) come 2023 (soon!) meaning low insurance & can be covered all year round. 240k(kms) still going strong with just fluids, brakes & belts replaced. I loved it. When I got married and had a daughter, it wasn’t practical, so traded it for a Maxima. Same engine I believe! Mine was red with brown leather seats!

I wanted something more fuel efficient than my Yukon xl. Really wanted a convertible but had given up and decided to be "sensible". Then I found this. Plenty of open road power. Really a 2 seater, no room for an adult in the back seat...but it's really just for my husband and I so it's perfect. Back seat makes up for the "lack" of trunk space as expected with a hard top convertible.

The car itself is minimalistic except where it counts. Fast stylish and so much fun it aught to be illegal. It has everything a sports car needs without the fluffy extras. It doesnt need an ugly spoiler or GT stripes. When you floor the gas you will understand that this baby Mercedes isnt a baby at all. Its not for the fainthearted. Its a sports roadster with a pedigree miles long and lives up to its heritage. Yes there are faster cars. Then again beauty is in the eye of the person owning the keys to its 3 pointed star F1 style nose

Bought this car new and still have it 16 years later - it's so great. 6-speed shifts beautifully and goes like spit. Handles well. Looks like a luxury sedan but drives like a muscle car. Did I mention this car abhors rust? even in salty roads Ottawa.

Great spacious car. I was the second owner and it ran great in the 20,000 miles I added over three years. Only had a few repairs on the suspension and axis from bad roads. It also has a scratch from a fallen branch, but besides that, it's is in great condition.
