After my husband left me, I can no longer afford to lease Acadia’s. Dave and Michael were great. They were very low pressure and offered for me to have a local mechanic of my choice take a look at the van. After the mechanic inspected the van, he noticed that there was a minor leak in the radiator. Dave and Michael went above and beyond for me. They ordered the part for the van and 3 days later it was repaired and ready for me to drive home. I drove my relatives Pontic Vibe while my 2002 Honda Accords transmission was being worked on. Now my transmission in the Honda refuses to work on the highway. So I am buying my relatives Pontiac Vibe. I need something reliable to drive from Longview TX to Fort Worth TX many times. I have to park my 2002 Honda Accord from now on. The Poniac Vibe has plenty of get up and go. I drove it to Fort Worth a week ago and I'm happy with its performance. It does use more fuel than my Honda Accord though. The Pontiacs engine bay is real clean. The Pontiac handled the rough I 20 very well. I have the check written out and ready to purchase my first Pontiac. Good by to my Honda. I have heard mechanics call the auto. Trans. On the 2002 Honda Accord GLASS . Because they break so easily. My sister said they have driven the Vibe to Arkansas many times and it still performs well. The AC and the heater works well in the Vibe also. The cruise control works very well too. I'm hoping to find an owners manual on e-bay. I have no idea what year model the Vibe is yet. But I do know it has 16 valves. Somebody has put tinting on the back window over the rear defroster, so I'm not bothering it. The paint job has seen its better days. I'm planning on repainting the Vibe, but I will continue with the Maroon color. This isn't a Firebird, but it will do.

Moe and Sam were great, friendly, honest and stayed after hours in order to meet with me. I had been looking for a vehicle for months in and around where I live (Pittsburgh, PA). I purchased this car in December of 2008 from the dealership. Besides a water pump and brakes, I have replaced nothing else besides regular maintenance. This car, when purchased, was the best priced car, with all the safety features one would require, that could also be used to carry significant cargo. At the time, a comparable Matrix model would have cost $6,000 more than what I paid. Since, it has currently driven only 160,000 kms at this time, I should have many years of dependable service ahead of me. The bones, spine and muscles of this car is a Toyota Corolla, which is why it's the most dependable. The engine is not a power horse, but the 1.8 liter is the extremely dependable Toyota engine that is rated to outpace most engines in its class. This is a very dependable, affordable car that has never failed to impress me since day one!

I have been searching for a few months for a car. This is my first car purchase and it was a very simple and easy transaction. The two people running the lot/shop are very nice and honest people who seem to actually take care of the cars they get. They also have a carfax for every vehicle on their website. Also with cars not on the site but you'd have to visit the lot. They helped me with everything I needed and I would defiantly purchase another car from them! Highly recommend!!

Oh my goodness...best car I've ever owned. It was a 2003 and I just sold it. Was running perfectly, and had 250,000 miles on it. Heavens, the odometer only goes up to 300,000. What more could you want from a car? I'm out shopping for another one right now.

I've had mine for 5 years now. She has her issues but every car does. Cheapish fixes. Love the ride and the gas milage. Will literally cry when she no longer runs.

We found mine sitting in the back of an auto repair shop. All we had to do to get it to start was swap in a new battery, then it ran and drove like we drove it there ten minutes earlier. Mine does not have ABS, traction control, or cruise control, but those are just minor inconveniences. After we changed the tires, brakes, filters and fluids, it drove like a dream. For a mid-2000's hatchback, it is peppy for the 126hp it has. Little body roll when cornering, excellent throttle and brake response, and the steering is tight and responsive. Even just having the 4-speed automatic transmission is fun, although I'd prefer the 5-speed stickshift. Roomy interior, while being a nice compact car at the same time. Doesn't take up much space in a driveway, and if you have the right color(Wave blue, salsa red), it'll stand out in a crowd. All in all, great little car.

(GT) Good news is great value for the money. Basically a Corolla wagon with modded engine at a discount because the brandname has been disappeared. Bad news is that the GM emission parts are hard to find and expensive. Either non-compatible parts too. And the one-size-fits-all emission controls do NOT give the same power band as the 2003.

I liked the car! It drove great, it was loud, but that was minor. Easy to operate, great on the gas, never had to service it for anything unusual!

I've owned my Vibe for 2 1/2 years when I bought it with 60k miles. Changed the transmission fluid at 60k, which is the recommended interval. Transmission "clunks" when downshifting to 2nd, but still up and down shifts perfectly fine. Shifts so smoothly, sometimes the only way to tell it shifted is to look at the tach. Ride is average, little stiff sometimes. It just refuses to break down if you do the regular maintenance. If you're a gentle driver, the standard 1.8 engine will be just fine for you, stay away from the 2.4 from 2004 to 2009, as they were well known to be oil burners. Little trick - when starting, just flick the key, release, and the starter will automatically release when the engine fires up. If you use the remote to unlock the car, and you don't open a door within 30 seconds, it will automatically re-lock.

This is a Toyota Matrix in a GM body. Came from a rare joint partnership. Family car for for almost 15-years. Almost 200k miles in Minnesota winters and it's never had needs beyond typical maintenance - tires, brakes, etc. Great car. Would recommend to anyone!

I have had my vibe for 5 years. Not a single mechanical issue yet! Gets decent gas mileage and there is lots of room. With the seats folded down I able to fit larger items. Everyone I know that has a vibe has over 300,xxx miles on it. These cars were made to run a long time!

A year later (nearly), the odometer sits at about 313,000 kms. I've had a no-start issue in that year, which was caused by a grounded wire that wasn't supposed to be. It was a bit of a tough find for the tech to pin-point but easy enough to fix. The Vibe has the exact same power plant as a corolla. So, essentially it's a Toyota, rebadged. (you'll notice the Toyota style steering wheel.) The 1.8l is a far cry from any 5L, let's say, but for what it is it does just fine! Wish I had the AWD and manual trans, but i'll settle. It'll definitely take a thrashing. Just keep your oil level topped, preventative maintenance up to parr and you should be able to get beyond 350 kms with the Toyota 1.8L. Canadian winters demand studded winter tires, and with such, you'll have trouble getting stuck!

Straight forward process and quality cars. Process took a little longer than I expected. 3+ hours for trade in and lease new car. I even applied for financing ahead of time.

Bought a 2006 Pontiac Vibe fwd, automatic new. It has ~ 350,000 miles on it (speedometer will only register 299999 miles). We keep up with the miles using the trip odometer. Have maintained consistent and regular 3,000 mile interval oil changes. Engine uses NO OIL (Valvoline 5w30) and tranny has given no problems. Replaced valve cover gasket & O2 sensor at ~ 330,000 miles; struts @ ~ 340,000 miles (yes, they were overdue!). Needs catalytic converter. Nose of hood is a rock magnet (the car has never been wrecked or had any body repairs or paint). Paint is beginning to show its age (I hate base coat/clear coat; give me acrylic enamel any day). Headlight lense covers are weathering (originals). Have replaced fog lights a couple of times (road debris takes them out). All accessories - power windows, door locks, AC, electronics, lights - work. It is still our daily driver plus it does double duty as our towed vehicle behind our motorhome. As such, I’ve taken it places in the mountains on steep (and I mean STEEP), narrow loose rock roads (most recently in Big Bend National Park and surrounding areas). To sum it up, if they were still made, I’d buy a new one today. One solid, reliable car. If I could improve it, I would add more ground clearance and selective four wheel drive with a conventional transfer case so I could flat tow it behind my motorhome. (As for use, we use it for “commuting, transporting family, and having fun”; can’t pick just one).

Good reliable car with easy step in height. Toyota engine and transmission with low cost parts availability. GT version has the 2.4 158hp engine that makes it really quick. Performance tires on GT version can be noisy on certain roads.

I was able to get my new car at a good price and it runs like a dream. My prior car needed some work due to the door being dented In. They offered me a really fair trade-in price. The only maintenance I have done is at 125,000 you change the serpertine belt and spark plugs. Did my self for $39. Parts from Auto Zone. I change the oil every 10,000 miles with synthetic oil. I see 2005 Vibes with over 300,000 miles with no problems. Take care of this car and it will last a long time. At 15 years my white car still looks like new. No dents. Put seat covers on seats when car was brand new. I highly recommend this dependable car.

I've driven a large range of vehicles, from the cheapest commuter you can buy new, to fully loaded Town Cars and Chrysler 300's and everything in between. To get straight to it: It gets the job done, and won't break while doing it. It gets decent mileage, it's a Toyota so you know it's going to outlive you, and there's lots of space so how can you go wrong? To be 100% clear, it's not very comfortable and there's no sound insulation at all, and it makes no power which means getting anywhere at a brisk pace means your foot is occasionally to the floor during regular driving. I don't see these as issues, this is part of the fun, overall I have a lot of fun in it and I don't worry about it's reliability at all. I also recommend sampling the symphony that is allowing your muffler to rust off, and giving it some redline as a treat. She's a racecar.

I bought a 08 Honda Accord in 2018, I still drive the car. I bought it with 79k miles and now have 203k on it. Nothing bad has ever happened with it. Except normal wear and tear. One rule about buying used cars, either know what you’re looking for, or have someone else check it out.

Yes, this is my 3rd Vibe. I'm addicted to the carrying space. As a sports medicine professional, there is room to carry anything I might need including several changes of clothes and numerous coats for any eventuality. I also like to thrift for furniture when I travel and I've carried some pretty big items. My 1st Vibe was a lemon meaning it needed a lot of repairs. Most owners say that aside from oil changes, they've had to do nothing. The 2nd Vibe had far fewer repairs and I met a guy in my travels who said his had 400,00 miles! The front seats go back enough that you can get in a comfortable sleep. Can't say enough good,

I have owned my 2003 Pontiac Vibe since 2004. I bought it new off the lot and the only thing I have had to replace aside from brakes/routers/battery is the compressor which I just replaced last year for $130. The car has 180,000 miles, burns no oil, and starts first time every time. I wish this car wasnt discontinued. What a shame!
