The sales experience – from test driving four different Porsche SUV and sports-car models, to the calm negotiations – was the most professional in 31 years of car-purchases. In short, my tires were defective and there was a battery issue. After I talked with a closer dealer who tried to upsell me roughly $3000 in repairs, I reached back to Downtown L.A. Porsche. If you can afford this beast, you will fall in love in no time at all! It's fast, handles like a true sports car, and turns heads like you wouldn't believe (regardless if whether you're into that sort of thing or not). Positives: it's a (rare) manual, it's low and sleek, it's luxurious, it has two trunks (one of them a frunk), and you won't see many GT4's out on the road. Negatives: it's really low to the ground making it hard to get in and out of, it's quite expensive (mine was $135K used), the trunks are small (ie. it doesn't carry much), the gas mileage is mediocre, and maintenance costs are on the higher side. For a car enthusiast, however, this car will get your juices going just thinking about taking it out for a drive!

This is a head turner...a 2-seater above all in its class. If you are looking for a sport car you cannot go wrong with the GTS trim.

I researched 911 vs 718 for almost two years. I drove a Carrera 4S at PECATL and loved it, but I wanted to keep my budget lower. A base 911, while a great car, just did not live up to the 718's nimbleness with its mid-mounted engine. I was lucky with my find - a GTS 4.0 It drives perfectly. The storage is ample enough for a large check-in suitcase up front. You also have the rear trunk. This can be a great daily driver with next-to-nothing for maintenance aside from regular oil changes and routine maintenance check-ups. I've put close to 4k miles and it is a special occasion each time I get in.

I was driving an Audi TT RS, but decided to test drive a used Cayman R. I was so impressed that I traded my Audi for a new Cayman. I decided to buy a base car rather than an S since the 300 hp engine provides excellent performance, making spending $10K more for an S absurd. If you can, buy one of these cars. They are special.

Fun car to drive, a eye turner and the fastest Ive own. A little tight if you are taller than 6 foot. Interior a little outdated but for the most part I still love it.

Like the Color combination and constantly get compliments on it. Traded a base model 2018 Cayman 718 which was very fine car but this car is just that much better; I wish I could have kept both. PDK with paddle shift and console shift makes me wonder how I even drove a car with clutch peddle. Sounds good, like the fuel economy and ample trunk in front and back. No more words it’s time to drive, enjoy your Spring and Summer!

Bought this baby used with just 4700 miles on it. Mine is the 6-speed manual version, 4.0L NA flat 6. I LOVE IT!!! This car is so much fun to drive. I work from home so don't have a daily commute, but it's a blast around town and on weekends. Not sure I'd love it as a daily, with a longer commute or in traffic - but that's not my situation - and we have 2 other cars in the family for daily commuting and road trips (Tesla 3 & Audi Q7). Get one as a 2nd or 3rd vehicle and it'll put a smile on your face every time!

Making update to my review below. Porsche Downtown LA contacted me directly and agreed to pay for all repairs and make the situation right. They were very apologetic about the entire situation and are willing to go above and beyond to make things better than right. I appreciate their response.

Extremely repsonsive although I purchased from another dealership. If I were 2 buy again I’d definitely consider buying from them
