It runs great and plug in makes it environmentally sound. I recommend it highly. It will give you approximately 75 miles a gallon after you learn how to drive a hybrid.

2019 Subaru Crosstrek Hybrid review
I leased this car in March after 12 years of being a Prius owner. My Prius was involved in a head-on crash, and although it performed amazingly, I wanted something a little more solid. This car fits the bill for a robust crossover option that also reduces the carbon footprint. The Crosstrek Hybrid is the perfect car for me. I live in an urban environment where I drive short distances for errands or to work. If I go further then the hybrid kicks in. Granted, we have been driving less during stay at home, but I have had this car 4 months and have only used 1/2 a tank of gas which is incredible. I charge it when I get home and at work also. The fact it can charge from a regular plug is amazing. I have not noticed my electric bills go up particularly, despite driving this car almost exclusively on the electric battery. If you do short drives close to home then this car is a great bet. If you drive longer distances routinely then this car might not be worth the extra money over the regular Crosstrek. The interior is roomy and comfortable. My only gripe is there's no wireless charging point, which is offered on Toyota's. You have to connect with a wire which is okay, but in this day and age you'd hope for more. The car handles very smoothly and has a nice 4 wheel drive capacity for mountains, hikes etc. There isn't tons of trunk space as the battery takes up a lot of room, but sufficient I'd say unless you need to frequently carry large loads. The car feels solid and safe, and my insurance premiums went down from my Prius as Subaru has such a great safety record. Finally, this car qualifies for the orange Access OK sticker, which enables you to use the HOV lane and park for free at meters in certain towns (such as Santa Monica.) Overall I am really thrilled with this car!

Frustrating when you’re looking for a specific model.
2021 Subaru Crosstrek Hybrid review
We have owned this car for about a month and a half and have not yet refilled the tank. It is very convenient to run around and do local errands and shopping with just using the electrical battery power that costs less than half the price of gas. We roughly get 15-17 miles on a single charge. This is more than enough to get us around locally and perform everything that we need to do.

2019 Subaru Crosstrek Hybrid review
This vehicle is by far the best one I have ever owned. Because most of my driving is local (=/< 20 miles/day) my average miles per gallon went off scale when it reached 99.9+ miles per gallon (not enough number windows to go higher values). That is so sweet! The hybrid (electric/gas) combination is perfect for my needs. The car has an amazing set of cameras and radar that function in an accident avoidance capacity. The design and engineering and technology are truly amazing. There are far too many wonderful features to discuss here. If you can afford this vehicle, buy it!

2019 Subaru Crosstrek Hybrid review
We really like the car a lot. We also own a Prius Prime (plug-in) so between the two of them we seldom buy gas. These cars have the same electro/mechanical setup as I understand it. I wish Subaru had also borrowed the Prius Heads Up Display. The only issue we’ve had is that a tire totally shredded as we were going down the road. Any other owners have this problem?

I couldn't have asked for a nicer easy going no pressure salesman to assist me than Kris Parker at Dewey Griffin Subaru. He answered all my questions and offered to take me for a test drive when I didn't feel comfortable getting behind the wheel. He stayed in touch and kept me updated while waiting for my vehicle to arrive. On day of delivery he was thorough going over paperwork and again there was never any pressure. He went over everything in the vehicle often explaining it to me more than once and helping to set up some of the new technology for me . He followed up with me the day after on the phone and in person to show me a few more things. He reassured me I could call him anytime and he was always happy to help. Everyone there from the door greeter to the management staff are super friendly and helpful and you really feel like they care and want you to have the best experience. I got the feeling that they loved what they do and took pride in making sure you had an excellent car buying experience and are happy with your new vehicle!

Nice. Should be a good deal when gas gets to 6.00/gal. Little noisey. I am sure we will like ir after we get it. Need to know more about battery life and warrenty.

I was able to get the Forester Wilderness that I wanted/needed because of its expanded towing capacity. Because of the issues with my ‘19, I would’ve been without a vehicle. Caleb was able to make sure I had a loaner vehicle, until my new car was ready for delivery. Tom Wood Subaru really treated me great! I would recommend Tom Wood and Caleb Baker to anyone looking for a Subaru!
