We weren't planning on buying anything yet and were just looking. Everyone was friendly and helpful without being pushy and/or just looking to make a sale. Bill K. worked with us, asked questions, really listened to what we had to say and respected our opinions - meaning he didn't try to change our mind about what we liked or wanted in a car. He also understood that I was still hesitant to give up my 15-yr-old 2002 Outback. It was in good shape but due to age would eventually start needing expensive repairs, which is why we were starting to look around. He was very knowledgeable and found us a car similar to what I had. On one question we had he got someone else more knowledgeable about it to speak with us. We did a test drive - sweet ride. We asked for time to talk and think some more. He left us alone. When we came back in to talk, he made us an offer we couldn't refuse. Finance also found us a warranty we couldn't refuse. Bill has checked in with us a few times to see if we had any questions and how we liked the car. We couldn't figure out how to set the clock - the manual wasn't helpful on that - and we brought it in. Bill was with another client but had Guy come out to the car and set it up for me. Guy was a sweetheart and patiently went through everything on the dash with me and set things up the way I wanted them. LOVE the car!! I've had it two weeks and already took it to Maine and back. Very sweet ride - like floating. Bill is a great guy and we highly recommend him and the dealership. It was a refreshing change from past dealership experiences where they only cared about selling a car no matter what or how, and getting as much money as they could out of us. Paul Kapij was friendly, responsive, answered all my questions and was honest throughout the process. Hes not your typical used car salesman. He is thoughtful, honest, and I never felt like I was trying to be tricked or sold on anything. I bought a CPO 2016 Subaru Legacy and they got it ready for me in under a week. On top, they gave me a remote start, detailed it, and put a gloss finish on the paint, all in under a week. Then, I really needed the car for a trip up to my lakehouse on a Friday, and they sent two people to register the car in MA, and they literally delivered the car to my residence in MA, which is 90 miles away. I love the car, I thought I got a good deal, and the experience overrall was way better than I expected. Most people told me buying a car is stressful. This wasn't. Part of it is that I knew the exact car I wanted, but even so everyone at the dealership was happy to answer ALL of my questions, they were responsive, and executed it through all the way to delivering it to my home. I would recommend Paul Kapij and Bertera Motors in Hartford CT!! Also, know that this review is being written from someone who demands excellence, pays attention to every last detail, and asks a lot of questions.

My husband and I visited two local Subaru dealers in our search for a new Outback, my second Subaru. At the time we were not sure whether we???d be purchasing or leasing. We were pretty satisfied with our initial experience with Dealer 1, but our experience at Bertera a few days later was so positive???from the initial appt set-up to the first sit-down to the test drive to the Q&A to the negotiations???that we decided to go with Bertera. We felt extremely well taken care of by our salesman Joe Boughton, who spent 3 hours with us during that first visit. Joe is very personable and friendly, yet completely professional. There was no question he couldn???t answer. He knew the Outback line inside and out and could answer all our questions about the newest safety features and amenities. He made the whole experience quite entertaining, in fact. And at the point when we had settled on s particular car and we???re negotiating price and whether to buy or lease, we felt he did a good job of helping us get a deal all parties were satisfied with. I would definitely work with him again and refer friends to ask for him at Bertera. When we came back yesterday to pick up our car, do the final financing paperwork, and get a final demo of the new cars features, Joe again made himself available for as long as we needed, then took us thru the Service Dept before we left. We feel we were very well taken care of at Bertera.

Original equipment tires wore out at 20,000 miles. Replacement Uniroyal Tiger Paws went 42000 more miles. Was unable to meet factory specs for wheel alignment. Despite that replacement set of tires wore evenly. If you purchase a new Subaru require that dealership align and show you results are at factory specs before taking delivery. The radio controls are difficult to use. touch screen is insensitive in cold weather. Radio knobs taper away from you so are difficult to grasp. Overall electronics are way overly complicated. Handling is very good. I like the CVT trans. It matches the power curve of the engine. Very secure car at highway speeds. Great traction in wet/snow. Zero mechanical problems. Great carrying capacity. I am at 62000 miles and will keep the car for several more years. Remarkable fuel mileage of 34.5 MPG overall.

I have been very happy with this car over the past year and 10,000 miles. It is surprisingly fun to drive...even more so in the winter with tires one can trust in ice and snow (OEM tires wouldn't stop the car on wintry road and I replaced them). Great city car and good interstate road trip car too, sometimes getting high 30s mpg at 70 mph. Engine always willing. Handling is great. I can load my bike in back without its front wheel, seats down, or a mower with the handle folded down. Infotainment center is bland, but I have a newer Honda where I find the same to be aggravating. The Impreza is quite low to the ground, so I need to consider that around snow berms and rutted roads; the Crosstrek is the answer to that, if you drive in rural and rougher roads. It is always a treat to get in the driver's seat and go for a spin.

This is my second vehicle purchased from Vroom in the last 12 months, and I can't imagine ever buying a used car from a brick-and-mortar dealership again. Vroom offers a terrific selection of late model used vehicles. The pictures really make it easy to know what the car looks like. I purchased a 2015 BMW 5-series, and the Vroom price compared to a similar make/model/mileage vehicle from CarMax was $3,000+ cheaper. I selected my vehicle over a few weeks of looking at photos. I filled out a credit application online, and they immediately called me to finalize the app, discuss rates and payments, and to get my $500 deposit. I am a car enthusiast! I spend way too much on cars ??? but I work 24/7 and it???s my only hobby. This review will be a bit on the long side, simply because I have so much to say about my experience with Vroom. My wife gets frustrated with me because I talk so often about how amazed I am with Vroom in every aspect! I bought my first car in 1968. Back then I couldn???t afford much, but since about 1979 I???ve purchased some very cool cars. I even bought a brand new Rolls Royce back in 1985. I???ve owned: exactly 10 Mercedes, Jaguar, Ferrari, Audi R8, BMW, Range Rover and several others. So when it comes to dealing with car dealerships, I feel like I???ve become rather expert ??? AND a huge skeptic of car dealerships!!! When you buy a high-end car, you lose SOOO MUCH money, as soon as you drive it off the showroom floor. So the last time we purchased cars, we decided to purchase nearly-new cars with very low mileage on them. We bought an Audi R8 and a Mercedes SL63. And it turned out GREAT. No regrets. So now it was time to sell those cars and buy two more. I happened across Vroom.com in my Internet search, and found the perfect cars for both my wife and I at the same place ??? Vroom.com. The cars are nearly identical to the same cars we???ve been driving, but just newer. A 2014 Audi R8 and a 2014 SL63 ??? both with about 3,500 miles on them. Even the same colors as our previous cars. I got bids from several companies to sell our cars to. Vroom offered the highest amounts on both of our cars!! And it was FAR easier to sell to them than any other company. Unbelievably simple! And the prices for the newer 2014 cars was extremely fair. I flew out from South Orange County, California to Vroom to look at and drive both cars. Vroom picked me up at the airport and brought me back to the airport. I was extremely impressed with Vroom and their showroom. And without exception, every single person I???ve spoken with and dealt with at Vroom has been not only helpful and enthusiastic, but GENUINELY concerned about making me happy. Even after the sale they keep contacting me to see how I???m doing and to ask if there???s anything that I need. They got me great financing! Less than 3% interest rate. I had no clue that you could do that with a ???used??? car. No other buying or trade-in experience I???ve ever had comes even close to how great, simple and fast this was. Oh???and they shipped the cars from Texas to us at NO CHARGE, and picked up our two cars at the same time. And the nice young man who delivered the cars was fabulous. He was so very, very careful with our cars. And not only do they have their guarantee ??? I believe you have a week or so to drive the car, and if you don???t like it, they will take the car back. They even told me several times (even after I???d purchased the cars) that if for some reason we decided we did not want the cars, they would come pick them up and truck them back to Texas at NO COST to use. Unbelievable!! Well, my wife is now also so impressed that she no longer is frustrated with me for talking about Vroom so much, and telling all my friends. In fact, I???ve already asked Vroom to look for a car for my daughter. I now would not think of getting her car anywhere else than Vroom. I mentioned before that I???m a skeptic when it comes to car salesmen and dealerships. So if I was you reading this, the first thing I???d wonder is, ???Why is this guy writing this review? Are they paying him???..???? Well, I don???t know any of the people at Vroom. I spent so much time on this review simply because I believe that when people deserve credit, and they treat you so nicely, you should reciprocate and sing their praises. My name is Dr. Rod Kurthy. Today I purchased (leased) my second MDX from Schaller Acura!!!! I bought my first MDX there 4 years ago. I loved that car, but then I met the 2019, and we were meant to be together. From the moment I walked through the door 4 years ago until the moment I walked out the door today, I have been treated with nothing but kindness, courtesy and respect. I have the utmost respect for every member of that team. Every single person has a smile on their face, is so pleasant to work with, and goes above and beyond to help their customers. In the last 4 years the service team has been out of this world amazing. I have worked with Dave, Joe and Brian the most, but they are all great. Katherine and the other helpful women who have answered the phone and booked my appointments are always so cheerful and kind. And the great guys who drive me a courtesy car every time I have my car serviced are so wonderful and accommodating. Craig even knows my crazy morning routine as a single parent and accommodates his day to work for mine! The service team is top notch and I would never have my car serviced elsewhere. They are trustworthy and honest, they???re not out to get your money. The sales team is also top notch! Big shout out to Jeff Norwood for today! Never an ounce of pressure, always providing you with all of the options. They treat you as a person, not a sale. They take the time to teach you every detail of how your car works and all of the features. A huge applause to Brian Savo in financing! What an amazing guy! So helpful. Explains every step. Deals with the DMV/RMV (has to be awful), and all with a smile on his face. After purchasing a 2006 Subaru Forester regrettably from another dealership who would not address a service issue on an advertised feature. I came upon your dealership from Subaru parts ct on the web and saw that your location was convenient to my home so I ordered the part I was looking for on your website. I received notice the next day that the parts was available for my pickup. When I went to the parts counter I was greeted by people who knew what I needed and were able to supply me not only with the part but with the drawings and information necessary for me to painlessly get the parts changed and functioning properly. I also ordered another part special order and again the part came join on time and with all the information I needed to perform the installation with no issues. And the parts from Suburban Subaru are over 10% less expensive that the other Subaru dealership who wouldn't help me out fixing the problem that they sold me. Thanks to Suburban Subaru parts and service personel I now know the way to the best Subaru dealer in Connecticut. Thanks guys

We looked for a smaller SUV, and the Subaru was a pleasant surprise. Aside from the fact that it comes with known Subaru reliability, it's fun to drive. The standard equipment is almost TOO much!! The safety features are incredible ( especially vs most American vehicles ). I would definitely recommend this vehicle to others!?

I like the sporty look and the interior is sleek. the car is easy to handle and the trunk hold what I need. Its not so complicated which makes it easier to use all the devises it has for electronic convenience. it's a perfect fit for my 6 foot husband and my 5 foot height. 7/1/18 When we first walked into the Bertera showroom every staff member was busy with a client. However Dan Leary immediately made time for us. Dan brought my wife and I to the Forester we found on Bertera's website. Dan knew most of the history of the car even though it had been in the lot for a few months. Dan then introduced us to Rich Santoni who knew even more about the particular Forester we asked about. Rich answered our questions and he immediately set up a comparison test drive for us in both a 2015 Forester and a 2015 Outback. Rich left mid week on a well deserved vacation and introduced us to Joe Bucko over the phone to help with any further inquiries. Fabulous car, some downsides

To be honest, the car is great. It looks and feels great in and out. The seats are stylish and the dash is sleek and has a large touch screen (mines a Sport model). However, there are downsides. I love how cool the screen is, but not having buttons feels dangerous. I have to look down too much to hit the buttons since I can’t feel then like a regular radio/whatever. Secondly, whoever thought it was a good idea not to make he cup holders round is crazy. Half is curved, but then it’s straightens out to look like a short bullet shape. What this means is that no cup is secure and the drinks bounce around and when you learn about it it’s from spilling coffee all over in your brand new car cuz you went over train tracks. Third, the transmissions jerks sometimes when you let off the accelerator. When it downshifts you can feel the car since back as the transmission starts to stop the car when it should be saving energy by coasting. These I’m told are normal traits in the car. Lastly, the 28mpg city rating is false. I get 20 in the city driving like a grandpa. Apparently these things suck when the engine is could and my 2 miles commute sees the worst efficiency I can imagine for a brand new 4 cylinder with such a good rating. All in all though, I like it and it’s a sexy car.

I wrote a review a few days after purchasing my new vehicle. Somehow it didn't get submitted. I will try again from memory. A good friend of mine recommended Quality Subaru for the purchase of a new car. I was actually not in the market to buy one, but my friend always steered me in the right direction. I traded in a 2011 Subaru Forrester, for a 2018 Subaru Forrester. I am 72 years old and bought my share of vehicles over the years. NEVER! Has it been so easy, (no pressure no judgment). Nicholas Hammond met me at the front door, with his with and good nature. Mike Ward was very friendly and easy going too. One of the things that impressed me the most,is when I saw Nick washing my old license plate front and back with soap and water. The plates had special meaning to me, they belonged to my late wife. I would definitely recommend this dealership to anyone.

I first owned a 2013 impreza. I totaled it at 103,500 miles and bought a 2018 impreza with 7800 miles. You would think after 5 years Subaru would get their bluetooth connectivity issues fixed. But obviously not. I'm playing music in my car get out of my car with it still running, get back in my car put it in reverse and my phone randomly disconnects and will not reconnect until I restart the car. And heaven forbid you take your seat belt off a split second before you put it in park because it will beep like crazy even after it's in park! So stupid! I feel like my 2013 impreza was a little quicker as well. My 2013 had all the recall/lawsuit problems so hopefully the 2018 is better build quality . Other then those small problems it's been a great car and I like it.

I have been looking for an affordable Remote Engine Starter for my Subaru Legacy 2016. All other Subaru branches sell the remote for a whopping $369.95. Fortunately, I saw this Quality Subaru branch at Wallingford, CT online, which sells the remote for only $277.46! What a steal. I decided to use my "Goodwill Parts and Service" voucher for $250. I encountered some minor problems applying the coupon code online, so I sent an email to the branch asking for assistance. I immediately received a response from Mr. Warren Smith, the branch parts manager. He applied the code and basically ordered the remote for me and had it shipped to my house. He went above and beyond his duty to help me out, and for that I am truly grateful. I have been to several Subaru branches, which, sad to say, lacked customer service and professionalism. This branch in Wallingford, CT is cut above the rest. They really give importance to customer service and satisfaction. If only I live closer to CT, I would make this my regular go-to branch for my Subaru.

I was looking for new/newer used cars priced moderately and felt like everywhere I looked online was out of my price range. My 2017 Impreza Sport has been flawless, The miles per gallon have been great, but 10% less than rates because I drive it aggressi. I love the new platform of a small SUV hatchback. There is so much space to carry loads of luggage.

My old car was my third minivan in 15 years. Now that my kids are older and leaving for college, I wanted something that could carry 6 or 7 passengers but was ... well... NOT a minivan. I did some research on late model used three-row SUVs, and found the 2017 Nissan Pathfinder. (My favorite of my three vans was a 2005 Nissan Quest, so choosing Nissan was easy for me.) Before I started browsing for cars, I applied for credit through Carvana, and was approved. Next, I entered in all of the information about the van I was trading for the Pathfinder. (Beware -- the trade-in amount is only good for 7 days, and it can change wildly in that time!) I was pleased with the trade amount, and it was great that I could shop for my new car and see my down payment and monthly payment for every car I viewed! My specifications were pretty clear -- AWD, less than 10,000 miles, and never a rental car. I found my dream car a few days later, and started the purchase process. It was quite smooth and the directions were very clear about what documents need to be uploaded. When I went to click on "finalize purchase" (or something like that), a red flag popped up...my trade-in value expired WHILE I WAS IN THE PROCESS OF CHECKING OUT! I got on chat with Carvana staff right away, and they were able to return the trade in value to NEARLY what it was before the expiration. This is something that needs to be addressed by Carvana -- once a customer is to a certain point in the process, those numbers need to be frozen. So we set a delivery time, and the Carvana rep was pretty much on time considering he was traveling 70 miles or so from the Chicago office. Everything was smooth -- signed a couple more papers, took my Pathfinder for a spin, Eric inspected my trade, and I left within 30 minutes with my new car. I would also like to add that I drove directly to my mechanic, so he could inspect the car and make sure I wasn't buying something with hidden damage. Mechanic said to me, "This car is perfect, like new." Just what I wanted to hear. Thanks Carvana! I am telling everyone I know about you guys. Good to work with you! Janet - 2017 Nissan Pathfinder

This car is an AWD car like all Subaru's and it also had phenomenal gas mileage. Recently went on its first long road trip and it got an average of 39 miles to the gallon. I have had other cars of it type and none of them feel as sturdy as this one. The only issue that I have with this car is sometimes the backup camera can have issues, but this is supposed to be fixed in an update.

This is a review of my SELLING experience to Carvana. I listed my car on Craigslist and was approached by an outsider buyer named Jan. She introduced me to Carvana, which I never heard of before, and it's process. She was very helpful and walked me through the process. The first deciding factor for selling to them was that they offered me the best price (vs. CarMax, Auto Nation, Trur Car). Then I realized the process was super streamlined. All I had to do was upload my documents and, after approval, schedule an appointment for the pickup of my car. Carvana sent a truck to COME TO ME to pick up the car. The driver (Lauren?) was very courteous and pleasant to work with, too. The pickup process, which included a one-mile test drive, took no longer than 20-30 minutes. Immediately after loading my car to their truck, I was handed the check, which I immediately deposited without any issues. My selling experience from being contacted by buyer to getting the check took just 10 days! (Would've been even faster if I was more timely with uploading my docs.) I'd highly recommend Carvana for selling your cars!
