After being in accident over the summer I purchased a 2016 Kia Sorento. Unfortunately less than a month after purchase the engine blew. Any other dealer would have shrugged their shoulders and left me to my own devices. Chris and his team at Southern Motors not only went to bat for me with the warranty people but HE PURCHASED A NEW ENGINE FOR MY CAR AT NO COST TO ME. They even gave me a loaner car to drive while the engine was being placed. This could have been a tragic situation for me. I used all the money I had left to get this car. My situation must have been the most difficult situation ever at a Carmax, even though it was tough and the Managers and Myself got frustrated at times Ed, Dave, Eric, and Chris (Carmax Charleston Managers) never gave up on me and worked hard to make this thing happen. I came to them looking for my dream car, the Mitsubishi Lancer RalliArt or Evolution on a limited budget. They found the vehicle and brought it in, I bought the vehicle and there were a few problems with it, the guys took the car back no questions asked and found another one, even though there were some other issues that occured the Management staff at Carmax stuck by me and helped me make it happen. Anyone new to the car buying process should go see the team at Carmax, Charleston, as they will guide you through the process and explain it to you the whole way through! We had our oil change done yesterday. After getting home, we discovered we were leaking oil. Someone from the dealership called my husband this morning, BEFORE the business was opened. A technician was sent out to our home. He brought a loaner vehicle with him. He was able to quickly figure out the problem and get it fixed. However, there was oil all over the underside of the car. He took the vehicle back to the shop to have it thoroughly cleaned. He then returned the car to our home and picked up the loaner vehicle. We love our Subaru. We will continue doing business with the professional, friendly, caring staff at Crews Subaru.
