Thank you for the hats Ezekiel and also for taking care of my brother with the purchase.
2021 Toyota Highlander review
We switched from 4Runner to Highlander! Many years of Toyota loyalty in our family. Camrys to Tacoma’s we have had them all. I stole my wife’s 4Runner away from her and replaced it with a 2021 Highlander XSE. It’s been awesome. Bought it brand new. We just hit 65k. We drive from northern Idaho to Scottsdale Az all year and at anytime. Yes, anytime. AWD Snowmobile. It’s awesome in the snow! 22-28 MPG on the Hwy. For those worried about driving a wagon looking vessel around that does not have the great looks of the 4Runner? Don’t worry about it. The XSE has a great looking front end. The XSE Model handles great and boogies. Yes, it’s quick and drives like a sports car. Well, it handles well not quite a sports car. Don’t get the regular Highlander. XSE looks different, has the JBL stereo and drives great. AWD with a Snow Mode. Oh, and it had a third row for little ones. Reliability - been amazing. Zero issues.

2022 Toyota Highlander review
I bought a brand new Toyota Highlander platinum hybrid, 2022. I’ve owned Mercedes and a whole bunch of other cars but the noise from this literally hurts my ears. Really sucks because I wanted to keep this car forever but now I wanna get rid of it because the low bassy vibration is absolutely terrible. I have seen some people talking about a foot to radiator seal, hoping that might help. I want to fix this but its some serious xxxxxxxx. I like bass but this suckd toyota… 😢

I had a new vehicle ToyotaCare inspection and service for my Tacoma. Casey Elliott was in contact with me from start to finish. Service was efficient and staff were courteous and helpful.
2026 Toyota Highlander review
Like the Highlander. I purchased a platinum and got a lot of little extras, except for the one I really need. The easy exit and entry was taken out of the Highlander (at least the platinum). Because of my height (short), I have the seat very high, so I can see the front of the car. When I get out, I hit my knees against the steering wheel (because it doesn’t go up, just out). And getting in, I hit my head most of the time on the doorway. So I do not recommend this car for anyone 5’6” or shorter. If you are taller and can see the front of the hood without lifting the seat, then this is your car. Unfortunately, when I purchased the car my salesman and the dealership manager both thought that this car had this feature, they were wrong. The rest of the car is fine, nothing that I’m not used to in a Toyota.

2026 Toyota Highlander review
The 2026 Toyota Highlander is a solid contender in the midsize SUV market, offering a blend of comfort, practicality and modern features. Its standout qualities include a smooth ride, a spacious cabin for up to eight passengers and a suite of advanced safety features. The 2.4L turbocharged engine delivers 265 horsepower, paired with an 8-speed automatic transmission and standard all-wheel drive, ensuring a confident driving experience. For those prioritizing efficiency, the hybrid model achieves up to 35 mpg combined. Inside, the Highlander impresses with its optional 12.3-inch touchscreen, wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, and available leather-trimmed seats. However, the third row remains cramped, making it better suited for children. Cargo space is adequate but not class-leading, with 16 cubic feet behind the third row and up to 84 cubic feet with all seats folded. While the Highlander excels in comfort and reliability, it faces stiff competition from rivals like the Kia Telluride and Hyundai Palisade, which offer more engaging designs and slightly better value. Starting at $47,840, the Highlander is a dependable choice for families, though it may not excite those seeking a more dynamic or luxurious ride.

The overall experience was fine but I was just not used to this business model. I bought a $70,000 used vehicle and after having dealt with the Land Rover and Mercedes dealerships for years, the customer service at CarMax is just not up to their level. But I guess that was how I paid $2500 - $5,000 less than what other dealers were charging for the same car.

2012 Toyota Highlander review
Bought the '12 used with 30k miles on it 9 years ago. It now has 187k and is running great. Regular oil changes and typical maintenance, brakes, tires, etc. The AC did go last year and was fixed. Car is plenty cargo spacious and has been used to move many items, furniture, building materials etc. The only thing I'd like better from it is brighter headlights. If a HIghlander has been maintained I'd not hesitate to pick up a higher mileage used one and expect many more miles.

Driven Auto Sales review
We bought our 2011 Ram 1500 in December 2018 from Driven Auto and are more than happy with our purchase and experience with this dealership. Their prices are beyond fair and the vehicles are in great shape. They care about the quality of vehicle they are selling to customers. In our business, we deal with alot of dealerships in and around Austin and these guys are the best! We looked for over a year for our truck. We wanted a good truck at a good price and Driven Auto was the absolute best. We have recommended our family and friends to them and everyone that has purchased a vehicle has been happy with the vehicle and experience. We will be customers in the future as well! Thanks Driven Auto!

Wonderful and laid-back experience, Lance our salesman was wonderful and very knowledgeable and financing was fabulous. All in all I would say it was five out of five stars.
2022 Toyota Highlander review
I bought my 2022 Highlander SE in November 2021 when selections were limited. It was not my first pick after researching and not my preferred color. I financed outside of Toyota and received a much better interest rate and my credit union said I was paying more than a reasonable price. But I was desperate and needed to new vehicle. I will see if the resale value keeps up with current value. So far it has performed well with a slight exception for the all wheel disk brakes. Sometimes I hear noises from the rear when backing out of my driveway when applying brake pressure. Also braking while driving seems a little soft and squirrelly. Just doesn’t feel quite right. The technology options are too numerous to mention and still learning but love the blind spot notification features. Fuel mileage is good compared to my V8 but performance is lacking even with sport drive feature selected. And in reference to one of the other reviews, the console storage is deep but too narrow. Overall I am enjoying my Highlander very much. I haven’t made a road trip in it yet so we will see. I can say it is a great family vehicle for short trips around town where a lot of start stops occur.

2015 Toyota Highlander review
It’s been a very reliable car the past 7 years. No issues mechanically speaking. Body style is great Mine has no safety warning features. My dislikes are the huge side mirrors and window frame. I’m 5’1” and they are a huge blind spot issue for me. Even my 5’10” son has issues. You cannot see the curb on a curve and you have to be extra careful to watch for pedestrians at thr crosswalks. And the nav screen/system and back up camera are USELESS during a sunny afternoon. The angle they installed it and without something to shade it makes it impossible to use. Actually dangerous at times. The only other thing is the road noise. It’s not terrible but next car I’m going for will be a quiet ride.

2017 Toyota Highlander review
I've always loved the look and feel of a Toyota Highlander. But I never thought I could afford one. I found my Highlander at Alton Toyota, Alton, Il. and fell in love. I asked about the price and I couldn't believe it was right in my price range. I test drove it and it was love at first drive. Everyone from the Sales-person, finance and even the Technicians. were friendly, helpful and answered all my questions. They even went above and beyond making sure I got the best loan that fit me. I love my highlander and just got back from Myrtle Beach SC, driving round trip. It is so fun to drive and all the room is unbelievable. I highly recommend both the highlander and Alton Toyota dealership!

I traded in my 2016 RAV4 Limited for the Highlander XLE. Primarily for the ride. We had to give up some features such as seat positioning and closeness sensors available on the Rav4. The 2019 Highlander has a V6 that is well reported on and gives us the performance we need. Our ride has definitely improved on the Highlander.

I had a great experience buying a new car! I was incredibly stressed out when I realized that I needed to enter the car buying arena again after 10 years. I was able to send information via email to Roger Salmeron to request the best out the door price and he rose to the challenge. He then introduced me to Willie back in the finance room who worked with me to get the things I wanted for my new cars warranty. If you need a new vehicle I would suggest getting to San Marcos Toyota and asking for Roger!

I think as long as you change all fluids at by or before 90 k miles as milage it will continue to goFor 300,000 miles crossed finger . The dealer offered me 19k to trade in at this stage. Toyota value unmatched. I want the new twin turbo 3.5 they just added

2015 Toyota Highlander review
We bought this car new in March 2015. It currently has over 205,000 miles, and I am selling it to buy a Grand Highlander next week. I still drive it back and forth from Iowa to Florida 3 times a year, and never worry about it making it. It handles great in any snow Iowa gave me, and last trip to Florida I averaged over 25 mpg traveling about 75. I have done all my scheduled maintenance at Cedar Rapids Toyota, changing the oil every 10,000 miles, and 1 tune up with spark plugs at 120k. Total repairs, (not maintenance), was under $450. 1 rubber seal for sunroof, 4 tire pressure monitors, and 4 sets of lug nuts, as they were rusting on. Truly the best and most reliable car I have ever owned. One reason I am trading up to a Grand Highlander is to get all the new safety features. My oldest daughter is buying this, because they know it surely has another 100k + of life left in it.

2007 Toyota Highlander review
We have owned our Highlander since about 42K miles, it now has 136k. The car has been wonderfully reliable and the batteries (now 16 years old) seem to still be working quite well. We get about 25mpg, maybe one or two less than when we first got it. While maybe not sexy, the first-gen Highlander Hybrid is a super well-engineered car. Our years in this tight, quiet, comfortable, spacious vehicle have been great. Biggest problem is we can't find a modern car we like enough to replace it!

San Marcos Toyota review
We recently purchased a 2022 Subaru Outback from Devon, and we couldn’t be happier! After a nightmare day dealing with dealerships in Austin, we reached out to his shop—and immediately felt the difference. From start to finish, Devon was honest, professional, and genuinely helpful. There was never a moment where we felt pressured or misled—just integrity and transparency all the way through. We’re absolutely obsessed with the car and feel confident we got a great deal. I’d 100% recommend anyone in the area to reach out to Devon when looking for a new or used vehicle. I’m already planning to use his services again when I’m ready to buy a Prius!

2026 Toyota Highlander review
The Highlander Platinum is the best vehicle in its class. The ride is exceptional. The driver's seat is multi-adjustable. Very easy to sit the way you want. Great storage in the front cabin space. Great storage behind the second row seat. Exterior paint(pearl white) is above its class. MPG in the Hybrid model is fantastic. This is my 10th Highlander.

CarMax Jackson (TN)Reviews
CarMax Jackson (TN) review
I just wanted to comment on how much I like Carmax customer service as a company. I bought me car from Carmax in Nashville Tn about 2 years ago and had great experience. Then few months later I my car started making a noise on the front end. Took back to Carmax in Nashville They put me in a rental car till the next day till they got it fixed... Which was great. They repaired my car free and payed for the rental car. Then April 6th I was traveling thru Jackson Tn and my car started making a terrible noise. I was very concern. Called Carmax in Jackson Tn took my car there they worked me in pretty quick. When they pulled the wheel off the found a pebble had past the dust cover and was rubbing between breaks and rotary. They removed the pebble and all was good. Thank God there was no damaged. Tech put my tire back on and sent me on my way. They didn't charge me nothing.. Thank you

Round Rock Honda review
I recently had an outstanding experience at Round Rock Honda. From the moment we walked in, the staff were welcoming. Salesperson Trish Scheffer took the time to understand our family needs and offered valuable insights without being pushy. They were knowledgeable about the vehicles and provided clear, honest answers to all my questions. The entire process, from test-driving to financing, was smooth and efficient. Trish went above and beyond to ensure I felt comfortable and informed every step of the way. I highly recommend Round Rock Honda for anyone looking for top-notch customer service and a stress-free car buying experience.

Toyota of Cedar ParkReviews
Toyota of Cedar Park review
We bought a 2025 Rav4 for my wife, a car she had saved up for over a number of years. It is our cross country vehicle for our retirement road trips. Everyone was helpful, with a special shout out to Damian Denova. While the dealership did everything right, Damian is the reason we purchased what we did, where we did. This process took about a year, we considered several makes and models from several dealerships, and ONLY Damian and Cedar Park Toyota stayed in touch over that timeframe. Being a retired salesman, I was very impressed with the job Damian did. He was a true professional in every aspect. He stayed in touch, let me know when a car came in he thought would interest us, without a hint of pushiness. Damian has the heart of a servant, and the gentle persistence it takes to succeed in Sales. As I told him in person, I was buying from him as a professional courtesy. Well done!

Covert HuttoReviews
Covert Hutto review
We recently purchased a used King Ranch Ford truck from Covert Ford Hutto and had a terrific experience. Travis Etie, our sales person, was professional, courteous, and diligent in making sure the car buying experience was enjoyable. Although we had a slightly higher offer on our trade in from a national online dealership, we felt shopping local was a better option. The local companies like Covert employ many people in the area and its important to keep our local economy vibrant. The Covert price point on our King Ranch Truck was unmatched. We are thrilled to have gotten such a great deal! Covert Ford-Hutto has definitely earned our business from now on. Shop confident, shop local, shop with the best in the Austin area, shop Covert Ford-Hutto!

They were very thorough and explained all of my options. They have a great deal on three oil changes! They also matched the price for an alignment that I had from another repair shop. This saved me a trip. Erick Garcia was a great help!
2018 Toyota Highlander review
Large doors and front seats. Easy to get in and out. You have to pull past the protective bollard at the gas pump as to not ding the edge of the door. A lot of safety bells and whistles for an older car. Can tow with the best and high enough to take fishing and hunting. Good power. Feels safe in winter driving with in reason. If it gets icy or the snow gets over 5” I stay home. Operational noise is not annoying even when pulling into traffic or down shifting going up a steep hill. It gets almost 21 miles per gallon. I have no intention of spending thousands more on a vehicle to get better gas mileage. It’s paid off. I’m retired and put about 8000 miles a year on it. It still runs like new. I would love to keep it as long as I can. It also can haul pretty much everything I need.

2015 highlander limited. Its very smooth , the seat/mirror memory buttons are great , the auto high beams are awesome. Its easy to maintain, all the fluids and breaks etc are very easy to service right in the driveway. It has the 6 speed transmission that is known to be very reliable (unlike the 8spd trans that toyota came out with in 2017)

Very positive! Was helped by Jason Clark, who went above and beyond! He even took a video of him showing the car, sent me a cost estimate, and answered my questions. He and management agreed to take my deposit, pending my arrival in Texas from California later in the month! I'm looking forward to getting there and completing the purchase! Nice team at Georgetown Subaru! Thank you, particularly Jason! Also, knowing the Subaru had been looked over and problems fixed from a Subaru dealer was a big plus for my comfort level.
2018 Toyota Highlander review
The transmission failed at 112,000 miles and it costs me $8500 to repair. I expect Toyota Highlander transmission would last at least 200,000 miles but I found out that the transmission is not made in Japan like my old Highlander, but it was made in the USA. People who buy Toyota expect major components such as engine, transmission, are made in Japan with zero defects, but when major components are made in the USA, quality suffers.

Toyota of Cedar Park review
I am an out-of-state used car buyer and my experience with Toyota of Cedar Park in TX was outstanding. #ChooseMalia
2023 Toyota Highlander review
I waited months, purposely, before writing this review. When I initially bought the car, I was scared because the reviews made it seem as if I made the worst mistake of my life. 6 months, 7000 miles later, the car running great. In the beginning, there was the weird shifting and lag but as time went on, around 5000 miles it had mostly smoothed out. After I took it for the TSB/Recall for a software update, it has been running perfectly since, no lag or strange shifting at all. I haven’t had any trouble otherwise. It’s roomy and comfortable for long trips. The third row is really for short trips(no more than 1hr 1/2) and for people 5’8 and under. The MPG excels on the highway especially on ECO mode with cruise control. I’ve gotten it as high as 33/34 mpg at 70mph on relatively flat land. In the city, it does terrible. I average around 17-19 even with slowly accelerations. My DTE is 290-310miles, 95% City driving. I’m sure those who use it on the highway will reach much higher. Despite the new 4 Cylinder Turbo, it has quite a bit of power and was able to take off very fast with a car loaded with adults (even in the third row). As of right now, the engine has been nothing but reliable. If anything changes, I’ll surely come back and edit this review. But for now, this 23 Highlander Limited Non-Hybrid, is a fantastic mid-size SUV and I recommend it now with the software update taking care of the shifting problem.

Bluebonnet Chrysler Dodge Jeep RAM review
We had the easiest purchase with Jacob Plont. This isn't the first or last time we will use Jacob to purchase a vehicle. He always listens, makes suggestions and makes sure we are 100% satisfied. He knew from listening to my husband talk what he could WOW him with and he certainly did just that with this truck. He also listened to my 12 year old because he knew that in 3 years this truck is getting passed down to him. He took a true interest in a future buyer. And explained and answered all of his questions. THANK YOU JACOB!! I don't want to take anything away from Jacob and the outstanding job he did on this sale but I wanted to give a shout out to Colby Moore in the Service Department. Because of Colby and the great service he provided way back in 2004 we have remained customers of Bluebonnet Dodge Jeep Ram.

2022 Toyota Highlander review
We have the 2022 Limited edition. Love the heated and cooled leather seats, very comfortable. Overall vehicle is very quiet, except on concrete roadway surfaces. The rain sensing wipers don't function as well as the ones we had on our 2019 Rav4. I will say, the 3rd row seats are for young kids or very small flexible adults. Also, front doors need more of an arm rest higher up on the doors. The tri zone heat and cooling is great. I like how the adaptive cruise will even slow you down some when entering curves. The 11 speaker JBL sound system is very good. Overall, the negatives listed are fairly minor issues, because we really enjoy this vehicle and the features. I am disappointed that Toyota will not be offering the v-6 in 2023. I much prefer the smoothness and power and torque curve of the 6 versus the turbo 4. The 8 speed transmission is butter smooth, although the kickdown response could be improved. This is our 4th Toyota and will keep coming back because of the higher quality standards and overall reliability. Also, Toyota seems to listen to customers better and making adjustments or corrections better than a lot of the other auto makers.
