2023 Hyundai ELANTRA review
After getting 284K from our 2003 Elantra GLS and Currently 108K trouble free miles from our 2019 Elantra SEL so far, I just bought a Certified (Passed 173 Point Inspection) 2023 Elantra Limited (Scarlet Red) with 19K miles. It is the most beautiful and Safety Rich (Accident Avoidance) "High Tech" Computer on Wheels Car I ever bought (I'm 65 Years Young!). The Tesla Phase 2 "Highway Driving Assistance" is "Best in Class". Also, The 46-48 MPG average per TANK full (Non Hybrid) is simply amazing! I like the 8 Speed Manual Performance Mode when I want a more spirited FUN to drive ride! Infotainment system and Bose sound system is also very good. The only nice feature NOT including until 2024 Elantra is 360 degree camera monitoring. I might purchase & install an aftermarket 360 camera setup from a Stereo shop in a couple years if I really need it?

2020 Hyundai ELANTRA review
I recently bought a 2020 Elantra with very low miles (39k). It looks great, like new, and drives like a large sedan should. And the gas mileage is great! Driving around town yesterday it got 37 mpg in normal traffic, when the spec is 30. And on the freeway I was getting well over 57 mpg on a very slight, non-visible decline at 77 mph. It "feels" comfortable. My only knock so far is the information on the center console could be brighter and I haven't figured out how to make it yet. The owner's manual was not included in the sale.

2009 Chevrolet Cobalt review
I bought a 2007 Chevy Cobalt LT with 89000 miles roughly every light you can think of on the dashboard was lit up to the guy just want to get rid of it so he sells me for 500 bucks I bought it cause my niece also had the same make and the same year but her car only had 79,000 mi but she didn't think it was I don't know fast enough or what the color maybe cuz hers was yellow so I bought it off her for $1,000 cause she had the money for the car that she wanted and she really didn't care about how much she could get maximum for her car so she said $1,000 I said so plus you know all the closing fees and all that so what I did was did an engine swap I did I'd say about 40% of the engine swap and my niece's husband did the other 60% and swap and it worked out perfectly the 2.2 ecotec engine that's it Chevy made was a very easy swap and they easy to work on and everything like that anyhow I drove that car from 79000 MI at the age of 20 to roughly 256,000 MI I never had a serious engine transmission breakdown I had to get a new exhaust because I hit a rock and it punctured a hole in my old exhaust so I had to buy a new one but I changed the oil on it every 3,000 miles with synthetic high mileage Pennzoil every 3k miles cuz that's what the handbook said I should ever see something on I should change the engine oil in my car I definitely spent more money in engine oil and filters cuz I do my own oil changes on all my vehicles held I think a little less than 5 quarts every time I just had to buy a 5 quart borrow a pennzo and oil filter change a couple of times and find out that this oil phone is better than anything and all that so it wasn't always the same but I never had an ending problem transmission problem or anything the car ran perfect for the time I had it until the time I saw it to buy a 2012 Toyota Camry I bought it was the most reliable midsize car and it was in my price range I basically paid $1,500 for the Cobalt couldn't tell you how much for the exhaust repair the brakes calipers the bigger meeting you in the car but I got $2,500 for the car from a guy I was asking for $3,000 because it never had a problem I told him everything about it he said no problem how about 2500 I said you got à deal. We took the car to the thing to change ownership and all that other crap you know that cost a couple hundred dollars to do and that same day I went and picked up the Toyota Camry roughly 3 hours after I sold the Cobalt at 10:00 in the morning and I have not had any major issues with the Camry so far it has 179,000 MI no lights are on shifts good drives good can't complain just like I couldn't complain about the couple I still talk to the guy every now and again he still owns the car it has 393,000 MI I asked if he had any major issues except for you know normal stuff like changing the oil brake pads calipers stuff like that and he said nope he said it's been smooth never had a problem it's just right now I'm not driving it because I don't have a license cuz I ain't got a DUI in it but parade Chief and a compact car sure had a nice 393,000 MI no major breakdowns just your everyday upkeep I think I did pretty good for $1500 and I think he did pretty good for $2,500 I paid $7,500 for the camry and I just must be looking except I've had no music phones at either and I use it everyday for work and for if I need to go to the store or something like that but that's my story and that's why I give it a 5 out of five I've heard so many horror stories about to come off I think it's mainly because people don't keep the car correctly by you know changing the oil change in brake pads caliper struts all that stuff when they go to bed the reason my niece is cars agencies that was good she never changed the oil in it she drove it like 28,000 miles without ever changing oil in it and it seized up her engine that is but I had a good deal in the end.

2009 Audi TTS review
My experience with the TTS is fantastic. Overall great daily driver, gets good gas milage all the while getting decent amount of performance. The rear seats fit smaller people or can be lowered to have more trunk space. I’ve fit a full set of wheels with tires inside the car without a passenger.

A few weeks ago, I was hit by a stolen car. My car was totaled and I was injured. The ordeal was overwhelming! After looking at hundreds of cars, I was exhausted. I found several cars I could afford close by, but they didn't feel legitimate. I found a car online at Audi Hawthorne (the NY, not in NJ!) I e-mailed an inquiry, and Perry Snitkin in sales at Hawthorne answered. Perry was patient and understanding. We went back and forth with phone calls, e-mails, and texts, dozens of times, I even had a problem and couldn't show up as promised one morning. And he NEVER got aggravated. I realized he was a not a xx salesman, and I trusted him! All this for a car that was a trade in and he was NOT going to make a fortune on! Though there were similar cars much closer to me, I paid for an Uber, went, and bought the car sight unseen! I would give him and the dealership 10 stars if I could. 2024 Volkswagen Tiguan review
30mpg avg with the longest and widest roof rail base for outdoor gear at a price that made sense. 2nd row middle seat folds down individually for skis and paddles. Remote start on the vw app is great for cooling the interior down on a 100 degree day from a distance. Rear seat door opening and leg room is huge great for elders to enter easily and for parents loading car seats.

2010 Ford Flex review
The Flex has been an amazing car to own. Bought it new in 2010 and it has never left me stranded since. Got the Limited trim and it is still an elegant interior even to this day. The car has always ran strong and the 200HP is great power for the car allowing me to zip around the city pretty quickly. It is an easy car to drive even at it's large size and has the most comfortable ride.

2020 Mercedes-Benz GLE 350 review
Had two issues; Evaporator Core had to be replaced ($4k) and the drivers seat (Mtex) ripped two times and appears to be ready to rip again. The evaporator core failed when the car was 4 years old. It is a common problem. Recommend anyone with this vehicle purchase an extended warranty. Also, the front brakes only last for 25K miles. My wife's car was about 6 months away from end of lease and she decided that she drives too many miles and would like to buy her next car. So we decided to start looking. We first went back to our Mazda dealer and told them we were looking for a used car and gave our budget. We were basically told they didn't have any used vehicles (really?), and that we should wait and see if any promos run. I used to drive Altimas (I had 3 - last one in 2010) so I suggested she look at that car and we went to Rockland Nissan. We were immediately greeting by Michael, new to Nissan, but very nice and professional. After discussing what we wanted and that we didn't think we could get one right now, he looked at inventory andour budget, and found us a car we could get. So we agreed and filled out the paperwork - the only real hiccup was when we spoke to their finance manager - the monthly fee was higher than we were promised. The issue was my wife was over in miles on her lease so Tim O'keefe (the main guy there) came in, sat with us and in no time we had a deal at a price we were happy with.We got a 2017 Altima 3.5 SL with only about 35k miles for a very fair price. My wife LOVES the car and we couldn't be happier. Fast forward to the next day - she noticed some damage on the front bumper that wasn't disclosed. Perhaps no one noticed, but we took it back and without a thought, they agreed to fix it for free. Now I was so impressed with Tim that I told him (jokingly) I have about a year on my Mazda 6 and I'd love to get a new Altima. He asked me to come in the next day and he'd find a way to get me what I wanted at the price I was comfortable with. So i showed up early in the morning and Tim introduced me to Dave. A very experienced and excellent sales person - one of the best I've met in the industry. He was honest and patient and we went over everything I wanted. He showed me a few models and I fell in love with the 2019 Altima SL in Storm Blue (really nice color - looks almost black). We went back over to Tim and before I knew it, we had a deal. The only negative thing is I was there for six hours before I left with the car. They were very busy and I believe a bit understaffed. I have to say though, I LOVE this car and could not be happier with how I felt taken care of. This dealership treated me like I was their top priority (except when I had to wait for a while) and the overall experience was fantastic. 2 days - 2 Altimas. I'll be going back there for sure. Thanks to Tim, Dave, Michael, and the rest of the Rockland Nissan team!

2022 Audi Q5 review
Bought mine in 2025 with rather low miles on it (offerred by dealership as a CPO with 18 months left). It feels luxurious inside and is pretty quiet. I'd say it was really beautiful but the way the infotainment screed is situated on the dash it sorta looks like it was just stuck there. Still, it works really well and supports CarPlay which works seemlessly. I didn't buy this car to watch movies lol. Back seats are comfy but there is a raised floor channel which seems odd; you definitely would't put a fifth adult in the middle. Still, the rear seat pass-through is cool and accomodates my skis. With read seats flipped down the total cargo space is acceptable but by no means best in class. I'm no speed demon so the 2.0 turbo is plenty for me considering the weight of the car. It handles well but it's not an Ultimate Driving Machine experience. . Mostly I'm impressed with ride quality and interior cabin sound level. The stock stereo is so-so and I tried the upgraded B&O system and it wasn't remarkable either. I am impressed with highway fuel economy near 35mpg. I did not purchase addtl maintenace and strongly recommend you change fluids waaay more often than mfr's specifications.

I brought my 2020 Telluride in for recall work. The experience was excellent, from booking the appointment, to picking the car up. I dropped my car off the night before my appointment and the drop box was easy to use. The service department called me mid-morning to let me know they had the car in and when I could pick it up. When I got there, the car was ready, they had also done the inspection, which I had forgot was due, AND they had washed the car. Everyone I spoke with, whether on the phone or in person, was friendly and helpful. I definitely recommend Kia of Middletown!
2024 Mazda Mazda3 review
Previously we have owned a 2016 Mazda Hatchback with the 2.0 liter engine and manual transmission. Our biggest complaint with that car was the lack of power. We were not expecting a performance car, but the 2 liter engine in that car was just anemic. My wife didn't feel safe trying to pull out into traffic. We recently purchased a 2024 Mazda 3 Premium with 2.5 liter engine and manual transmission. While still not feeling like a sports car (it is not one) it does have considerably more torque than the 2016 we owned previously. Things we like about the 2024 model: - the bump in power - fuel economy - the interior. the seats are somewhat firm, but comfy. The dash is nicely layed out - the buttons on the console are useful - heater/AC controls are buttons and knobs - easy to use - the heater fan! We have had several Mazdas, and the fan has always been underpowered. the fan in this car is adequate - two driver settings that will put the seat in the correct position, as well as let you set the brightness of the heads up display - seat heaters Things we don't like: - auto sensing wipers. the only way to use the intermittent wipers is with the 'auto' setting, and it operates properly only intermittently at best - the door for the gas filler. it is not difficult, but if you don't know how to do it, you may need to google (what I had to do at the gas station) - Fully electric parking brake - I would prefer a manually operated brake. - The pedal area is somewhat narrow. I have somewhat wide feet, so I have to keep that in mind, as some shoes make driving cumbersome. The reliability question was required, which is a rather lame requirement when one has owned a car for a month. I gave it 3 stars as I have no idea yet as to the reliability.

2024 Lexus RX 350h review
Just about 19K miles on the car now. Early on battery ended replacing. There was a slow tire leak that we did not know about when we purchased it. They did not cover this and it cost me for a new replacement. Don't recommend the running board as they are useless at that height. Mileage about 34mpg in ECO mode. Safety features very good. Camera system good. Don't use the auto park ability. Too spooky for us at our age. This is the first Toyota/Lexus automobile we have owned and we highly recommend it. I will keep this car until Lexus comes out with an auto drive like the Tesla. Fremont Lexus is quite attentive. Salesman Connor is excellent.

2016 Lexus NX 200t review
I bought this gorgeous new design and plan to keep it for at least 10 years more. The seat belt is designed to touch the body without feeling it and strong enough to support your entire body. It feels like I'm driving on cloud. Last month I left it at the shop, and the company lent us a similar one from 2025. With the difference in updates, it drives no differently than the 2016. Before buying this car, I tested four brands comparable to the Lexus, and it was far superior in comfort and design.

2024 Lexus LX 600 review
We purchased a 2024 LX600 F Sport about 6 months and really enjoy it. While we are a Lexus family, we did an exhaustive search of all luxury SUVs before settling on the LX. What we like about the LX: it's a beautiful vehicle inside and out. We love the exterior styling and glad we ended up with the F Sport trim. The interior is gorgeous with impeccable fit and finish. The seats are very comfortable. We like the way it rides. This SUV is built like a tank. No question it is way overbuilt. As long as the Twin Turbo V6 holds up (see some of the issues on the Toyota Tundra), this vehicle should last a very, very long time which is rare these days. We also like how the LXs hold their resale value so much better than any other luxury SUV which will help with overall operating cost. What we don't like as much: smallish gas tank + not great gas mileage = frequent stops at the gas station. There aren't as many bells and whistles as you will find on an Escalade and X7 (more stuff to break in our opinion). While it is about the right size for us, it's does not have as much interior room as other 3-row SUVs. The price - is this (or any car) worth $106k-116k? Overall we love the LX600. It's not perfect but nothing else out there is.

2025 Toyota Land Cruiser review
Upgrading from a 5th gen 4runner and I couldn't have a better SUV. Plenty of hybrid power, very smooth transmission, great acceleration and super comfort features and excellent interiors. Premium package is well worth it, especially 360 camera, safety features, and ventilated leather seats. 5000 miles in two months and no regret at all. Toyota nailed it. If you are looking into an upgrade from a 4Runner and any similar midsize SUV, do not hesitate!

2024 Kia Telluride review
Have driven just over 20,000 miles so far. No issues. Drive between Clearwater and Gainesville regularly plus a couple other family trips and daily around town. Averages about 27 mpg at 75, quiet and pleasant ride. Trips were nice with good visibility front and back and plenty of room for stuff. Highly recommend.

2025 Toyota Land Cruiser review
I purchased this car at the end of June 2025 and currently have only 5,000 miles on it. So far I love the Land Cruiser. The interior is very nice, but not especially plush. It is comfortable. The LC handles well, but I haven't taken it off-road, nor have I had to deal with difficult weather conditions. The drawbacks that I see are that it requires premium gas, does not get especially good gas mileage, and the gas tank is small for the size of the vehicle. I have no regrets in buying this vehicle.
