2014 Toyota Sienna review
We purchased the 2014 sienna SE right off the show room floor. It’s very reliable. It sat a lot the first few years as we each hod our own cars. This was a wedding gift to each other. If it sits to long the battery drains easily. It’s comfortable and faster than some sports cars. lol 0-60 7.2 seconds. That’s muscle car territory from the 1960’s. Outside body integrity is only fair. We have 90,000 miles on it. It runs like new. It’s hard on brakes. Maybe it’s my driving style. It’s good in my opinion for 300.000 miles. The v-6 engine is one of Toyota’s best long running engines. Gas mileage on a road trip is 24-25 under 70 mph. In town 18-20.

2022 Chrysler Pacifica review

2023 Toyota Sienna review
Traded our 2025 Toyota Hylander Hybrid awd because the seats were so uncomfortable and was told there was nothing they could do about it for a 2023 Sienna. We were looking for a road trip vehicle when we bought the Hylander but both Toyotas Got great gas mileage 36 mpg drove good but the seats were uncomfortable and a little hard to get in and out of because the roof line has been lowered. Didn’t have the room inside as our grand Caravan and you couldn’t remove the second row seats they wouldn’t even lay down flat just lean forward. Was a bigger car outside than we wanted but not as roomy inside. After 9k miles we traded it. Would be a good car for someone

2025 Kia Carnival review
I traded a 2021 Telluride for the Carnival because it was more practical and versatile for transporting young children. Although they had the same trim levels, the quality of interior materials - seats, door panels, etc. - in the Telluride were superior to the Carnival. The "ride," handling and comfort of the Telluride also far exceeded that of the Carnival. I miss the Telluride but appreciate the functionally of the Carnival.

Amazing space inside, yet good road manners - sure footed in bad weather, good handling and sublime ride quality - and everyone smiles when they see it. People coming to an EV for the first time may have range anxiety, but charging is seamless and quick. Controls take some getting used to but still far better than a Model Y/3 with just one screen and two scroll wheels. More than enough room for my very large dog.

2001 Chevrolet Express 1500 review
I have a 2001 Chevy Express van. 5.7 v8. Great van and have only had to do minor repairs. I did have to replace the fuel sensor and EGR sensor. I have had this van for years and have probably spent $1200 to 1600 in repairs including brakes, and to find a miss in it when running. The miss was found in a wire cluster inside a wiring tube by the oil dip stick tube that had been rubbing against something and was fixed by repairing the wire. This cost me $300 which was a very minor but costly fix. Otherwise it is a great van with over 200k and still going strong. I change oil and filter at 5k and flush coolant every 3-4 years, and put new sreering , brake and tranny fluid every 40k. My friend has a deisel van but the maintenance costs as simple as an oil change and glow plugs are way higher than my maintenance costs. He gets more MPG but his fuel is a dollar a gallon higher, so all needs to be taken into consideration when fuel milage is only a small part of costs of operating a vehicle.
