2022 BMW M3 review
Given I ordered the car with a cool optional paint color, it gets much attention wherever I go. In addition, the overall look, sound and performance enhance the attention. I have owned many performance cars over the years and to date the 2022 M3 Competition is the best car the I have owned and the most exciting and rewarding to drive.

2018 BMW M3 review
BMW's, specifically M series can sometimes get a bad rep for reliability and the markup in service cost if out of warranty. This couldn't be further from the truth...I've owned two f80 M3s and these things are extremely well-engineered and other than the random crankhub issues (typically caused by loose crankbolts from the factory or bad tunes that on-ramp torque too quickly) these cars are bullet-proof. I've put over 70,000 miles on this chassis and have had ZERO headaches, zero mechanical surprises and nothing but a xxxx eating grin from ear to ear each and every time I drive one. BMW did a knockout job mechanically and cosemetically with this generation F8X M3 and they've prooven to hold-up against the test of time. With petrol engines being phased out, this car is sure to continue to hold it's value!!!

2015 BMW M3 review
Car is typical BMW M, plenty of power great brakes high end interior, it was difficult to find one with a 3 pedal manual and sunroof, this M3 did NOT come with cockpit adjustable suspension and it was scary to drive at the limit, I put fully adjustable coil over suspension on which lowered the center of gravity, improved the stance and made it handle more like an e46M3, still not perfect but much better than stock!

Salesmen and all staff were helpful and worked with me on a great deal for the Gladiator.
2011 BMW M3 review
The E92 BMW M3 competition introduced in 2011 is a magical sweet spot in sports cars and the M lineup in particular. THREE circles overlap. ONE. The S65 engine is bespoke, only introduced in the 2008-2013 model. The normally aspirated 4.0L V8 weighs less than the inline 6 it replaces from the E46 and revs to 8300 rpm with 100 more hp. Literally the international engine of the year during every year of its production. Importantly it has no turbos. 8 separate throttle bodies, and a lightweight fly wheel. It will teach you what throttle response really means and overlaps with.. TWO. In the ZCP competition variant of the E92 this mates with a Getrag dual clutch. A manual lover, this made me switch religion. Odd/even transmissions and millisecond shifts with no gap in power pair perfectly with the race revving v8. And THREE.. sublime MDM traction control. All newer M models with turbo engines and comparatively sluggish throttle response include this. This is the final overlap. Instant throttle plus instant transmission plus instant handling equals the car dancing in and out of its performance envelope like a trained show dog. Buy one and good luck. I have several Ms. Not selling this one. Oh.. Minuses: Eats expensive tires like popcorn, sell your clutch foot to pay for brake platters. Head gaskets ooze around the 100k range. Worth it.

2002 BMW M3 review
BMW E46 M3.. while many cars can out perform the older M3, this is my favorite, for classic, gorgeous BMW coupe looks, the last of the non-tubo 6 cylinder, and elegant interior with more than enough technology underlying the simple cockpit and controls and yet outstanding performance when you want, and docile enough to enjoy around town. Really, just an all around sweet package!

Had a wonderful experience buying by 2016 Mercedes AMG G63 from Chicago Motor Cars. Seraj “Raj”Abughoush was an amazing sales representative and cares for me start to finish. I was an out of town purchase and Raj walked the car with me twice, did a road test and even fixed an issue he saw with the windshield during our drive together. His manager was very great with his customer service and I will definitely be back to buy another car with Raj and the whole team at Chicago Motor Cars. Was an amazing experience!

CityWerks MotorsportsReviews
CityWerks Motorsports review
I recently purchased a 2018 Jaguar F‑Type R from CityWerks Motorsports, and I can confidently say this was one of the best vehicle-buying experiences I have ever had. Steve went above and beyond throughout the entire process and proved himself to be an honest, professional, and extremely knowledgeable seller from start to finish. From the very beginning, Steve was incredibly thorough with every detail about the car. He took the time to explain the vehicle’s condition, history, features, performance upgrades, and maintenance without rushing or avoiding any questions. It was obvious that he genuinely cared about transparency and wanted me to feel completely comfortable and confident in my purchase. That level of honesty is hard to find in the automotive world today. One thing that really stood out was how much effort he put into providing photos and videos. Steve sent an extensive amount of high-quality pictures and detailed walkaround videos that covered every angle of the vehicle, inside and out. He made sure I could clearly see the condition of the paint, interior, wheels, engine bay, and every important detail before making my decision. It honestly felt like I was inspecting the car in person. The shipping process was also handled flawlessly. Steve stayed on top of communication the entire time and helped coordinate shipping in a very timely and professional manner. Everything moved quickly, updates were consistent, and the car arrived exactly as described. There were no surprises, no hidden issues, and no stress involved. Overall, CityWerks Motorsports is an incredibly professional dealership and easily one of the best around. Steve’s customer service, integrity, attention to detail, and passion for quality vehicles truly separate him from others in the industry. If you are considering purchasing a vehicle from them, especially a performance or luxury car, I would highly recommend doing business with Steve. He made the entire experience smooth, trustworthy, and enjoyable from beginning to end. -Blake Nathan

I bought this car a year ago because I drove one like it in the Black Forest ten years ago and it was a blast I never forgot. This convertible's inline naturally aspirated 6 is the best sounding and revving engine ever! It has a Dinan exhaust which completes the package. With 19s al around it sticks to the road like glue!!I can't wait to drive it every time I can and hate storing it over the winter!!

Stopped in not expecting much from the way my search had been across the country. To say these guys are way better than most would be an understatement! My whole experience with them was great! Hopefully this car lasts me for years to come, but if I decide to do something else they will be my first stop!
2005 BMW M3 review
The 2001-2006 BMW M3 (chassis code E46). This generation of M3, like others was and still is and icon of sport and spirited diving. When new, this set the bar and was the measuring stick by which other cars were evaluated. Sure, it doesn't have all the current tech, even seeming Spartan compared to all the comforts of a large high-end luxury sedan or SUV, but that's never been why we love M3s. Now the E46 M3 is between 14-19 years old and it's performance on paper is comparable to that of a new Civic Si, but it still has something that very few cars have. Dare I say it at the risk being cliche? Soul. The M3 wasn't supposed to be the fastest in a straight line but a well balanced alround touring car. Its the perfect balance of handling, power not too much power, and class while still reasonable enough to drive everyday or just on those nice spring Sundays. It does "fun" VERY well and that is why it still is one of the most pleasing cards to drive. The looks are before a lot of the more controversial later BMW designs. It has that work of art, screamer of an in-line 6 cylinder S54 motor (2001 engine of the year winner and winner of the 3-4 L category for six straight years in a row 2001-2006). Though SMG had begun to increase in popularity, some E46 M3s still came with an honest to goodness manual transmission. This is what makes the E46 M3 one of the best of what seems to be a dying bread of cars and values should hold (or even increase) through the years like most other M cars have done historically. Cost of ownership isn't cheap. It's a BMW, no surprise there. However, failure and repair costs increase when considering SMG equipped M3's. Another thing you should consider is how much money you'll spend washing and waxing it then time sitting there and staring. That's one of my hobbies too... when not driving it. The E46 M3 is in an icon in a lineage of special cars and had become an instant classic.

Beautiful to see, beautiful to drive. Not necessarily your everyday car. It is low, it is stiff -- but that is the characteristics of a sports car. Lots of quality features in addition to its performance.

Great experience! They listened to what I was looking for, and helped me to get it! The test drive was perfect, we must have driven it for 30 minutes for me to make sure it was what I liked. Easy transaction after I decided to pull the trigger. Trade in was easy, and was never "pushed" into buying anything. I think we were all done in a matter of 3 hours, which I've never had that experience at a car dealership!!

Staff is very knowledgeable when it comes to specialty collectible vehicles. I ended up building a relationship and purchasing multiple cars they were able to ship them directly to my front door step. I own a business and consistently change out of cars. This company has been accommodating in helping me get the right cars for my collection they have sources and connections throughout the automotive industry.

2013 BMW M3 review
I'd been driving 328i's for over 10 years but always wanted an M3. I only wanted an E92/S-65 version and took my time to find the right one. I found it two years ago (in 2018) at a dealership 900 miles away from where I live: It was a 2013 with only 27,800 miles on it. I flew down to check it out. It was Space Grey and had the competition package and cold weather package. Another interesting feature I discovered when I got there, was that it also had the Dinan exhaust system as well. The dealer never mentioned that and the web pictures never showed it. He had no idea of the added value. The car was spotless and I was impressed. The test drive sealed the deal. What a machine. I felt I stole it for $34,000. It has the 7 speed dual clutch tranny. I've always driven sticks, and my previous 328's were all sticks, but at 61 years of age, and with the idiot drivers in NC, I actually preferred a slushbox at this point. The dual clutch tranny is outstanding. The shifts are tighter than anything I could ever do with the manual, but if I want to go into sport mode, I can do it grabbing the console shifter or by tapping the paddles. While the M3 is more known for its speed, it is also incredibly comfortable to drive. The leather seats are well cushioned and just hug you from the side. I have a bad back, and driving this home from Miami to NC straight through, I had no additional pain at all by the end of the trip. The interior trim is fairly simple but well appointed. Mine has the wood grained dash, and also has the rear window power sun screen. Also has the recessed GPS and the premium sound system. This car is the last of a rare breed - a naturally aspirated V-8 with a sound that is simply glorious. It has three tones: a low smooth rumble at idle, a growl with normal acceleration, and an absolute roar if you jump on it. According to my 21 year old son (who owns my previous 328i coupe), I drive it too gently, though he's not always with me. :-) I let him drive it a couple of times and his face lit up as he put it through its paces in sport mode. I probably do drive it too easy most of the time. I don't track it, but I've certainly had some fun with it. It is nice to know I have the power there when I want it, especially on the interstate. Going into "M" mode is a real treat. The car just takes off like a rocket and it pins you to the rear of the seat. It's handling is firm, but not uncomfortable, and it takes corners with ease. Beyond its power and handling, this is simply a beautiful car with incredible lines, my favorite being the flared rocker panels. I originally figured I'd keep it for a couple of years until I "got it out of my system". I still haven't, and can't imagine I ever will. I still look forward to driving this every day. The newer M3's are admittedly even faster, but they sound like crap. I rarely even listen to music in mine. The sound of the S-65 engine as it goes through its paces is like a symphony to me. It now has 55,000 miles on it, and those are predominately interstate and back road miles to and from work. I'm getting ready to retire, so the yearly mileage will be even less now. I don't plan to sell it. It's just too much fun to drive. I recommend this car wholeheartedly. As the last of the naturally aspirated M cars, is destined to be a classic and I believe it will hold its value very well.

Autohaus BMW review
Josh Gould and Larry The Tech Genius are an awesome team. I purchased a used 2017 BMW x3. My experience was great. Both gentleman were helpful and super nice.
2023 BMW M3 review
The M3 has gotten very luxurious while losing nothing in performance. Choices abound. the car starts in comfort/efficiency mode, if you are just going to the supermarket. But two "M" buttons on the steering wheel (you set them up yourself) can quickly change that. I have M1 set up for sporty and M2 for "to the max". The seats are a bit firm. I can ask the car to cool itself via a BMW app 10 minutes before I arrive. Many things like that. The manual transmission is standard BMW, similar to my 14 year old 1M. Many options are via virtual buttons, menus, and submenus, but I got used to it faster than I expected. Through the app I can check how much gas I have and what the tire pressure is and where I've driven (you can turn that off). It can connect to the dealer for regular maintenance. It's amazing! I'm not crazy over the electric clutch, but I'm getting used to it.

Overall really solid salesman Joe was a great guy very knowledgeable and humorous made the time a little less stressful. I really enjoyed how they were able to fit around our weird situation co-signing they work with u and put out any options available. The car was in beautiful condition other than some minor cosmetic issues the car drives like a beauty. Only problem I had with the whole experience was the finance rate it was originally at 17% don’t judge our credit isn’t the best lol but when they sent the Docusign it was at a 18% with a higher monthly payment we were able to figure it out and the only thing I suggest when shopping here is to make sure ur Docusign is correct cause it was a odd ball for sure but it isn’t enough to throw it off a star they handled it and made sure we weren’t feeling like they up charged or scammed us it was a overall good experience would suggest them to other buyers

I had the pleasure of working with Tray at Murgado Ford of Chicago while looking for a 2024 Lincoln Nautilus Reserve AWD for my wife. From the moment I reached out by phone to inquire about the vehicle Stock: 24L117, Tray was incredibly personable and transparent. He took the time to provide me with all the information I needed, making me feel at ease about the purchase. With a growing family, including one child and another expected in May, it's important to make the right choice, and Tray made the entire process smooth and stress-free. His professionalism and genuine care for my needs were evident, and I truly appreciate his efforts in helping us find the perfect vehicle. I fell in love with this car the first time I saw it. Arctic Silver over Black Leather , with the sunroof open I think it's the most beautiful car on the road. Threads into corners like a race car - engine note subtle but sweet- if you can find a well cared for low mileage example you won't be disappointed.

Murphy was great! Very helpful service was quick and easy. Definitely would recommend to a friend, great prices and good cars available to purchase great.
1998 BMW M3 review
Cars, much like many other components of modern life, are showrooms for all the latest technology the modern consumer needs. In many ways this is great but at a certain point they lose their car-iness and become tools for abstracting the driver away from the driving itself. I would guess car manufacturers are responding to what the customers are asking for. But I fell in love with cars long ago not because their a tool or a means to an end. I like cars that are meant to be driven and that create a relationship between you and its interfaces. The E36 M3 is a performance car from an era where this relationship still mattered and this is part of why it lured me in in the first place. No WiFi, no Bluetooth, no color touch screen, no digital instrument cluster, no rear-view camera - mine doesn't even have a CD player. But BMW's iconic straight six engine mated to a five speed manual transmission is glorious to drive spiritedly and this is the reason I bought it. There isn't an abundance of assists getting in between you and the driving experience and correspondingly there are less electronic bits to go wrong. The E36 era of M3 is going on 20 years old - even for its youngest model - so a budget for maintenance is something to consider if this car is on your list of possibilities. There used to be chatter of a "$10k rule" on the enthusiast forums, meaning that regardless of whether you buy a $5k E36 M3 or a $8k E36 M3 you'll have to spend the difference between that and $10k to get it into reliable shape. Based on my experience that sounds about right. Problem areas are well documented on the enthusiast forums as are their solutions which make this platform alluring if you're interested in tackling DIY-level maintenance tasks yourself. The E36 M3 isn't for everyone but if you're after an unfiltered driving experience at a somewhat reasonable price it's a strong candidate. Going into it with proper expectations, ownership can be a gratifying experience.

Laurel BMW of Westmont review
I recently purchased a used Mazda from Laurel BMW of Westmont, and I couldn’t be happier with the entire experience. The customer service was excellent from start to finish, and I never felt pressured to make a purchase. What really stood out was the straightforward approach. There were no unnecessary upsells or attempts to pressure me into buying additional products or services. Everything was explained clearly, and the communication throughout the process was excellent. A special thank-you to Vesna, who was fantastic to work with. She was professional, responsive, and made the entire buying process easy and as stress-free as possible. I truly appreciated her honesty and communication. I would highly recommend Laurel BMW to anyone looking for a vehicle. Even though I purchased a used Mazda rather than a BMW, I feel I was treated with the same level of attention, professionalism, and care that I would expect when purchasing a brand-new BMW. The entire experience was excellent from start to finish!

The Autobarn Volkswagen of Countryside review
I thought Josh was wonderful. Not only did he take care of the items I had asked him to, but he also reattached a piece of trim that was loose. I was very pleased!
2012 BMW M3 review
I traded in a 2015 Acura TLX with advanced package, AWD for the 2012 M3 beast. I was first skeptic thinking of tire noise, why I need it, it seems immature, why in the world I would want one, why I would not go for a later model, why I need to get this specific V8. Then I test drove it and feel in love in less than 10 seconds - that's it. Flooring the beast in M mode was the blast that I had NEVER experienced from ANY vehicle (bear in mind I have owned a 2011 550i, own a current X5 50i, and have driven many cars which claim to have the best in class performance (including the Porche 911). I can attest that this car gives ANYONE the confidence that they are a race driver. Now I now how race drivers begin their driving skills - they get into the best car which GLUES to the ground and they portray confidence. It's the car which bestows confidence - the driver just experiences the little nuances and is deft in navigating the unknown. What an experience. What a vehicle!
