Brought my ???15 Suburban in for a recall on electronic power steering. Mentioned that my rear electronic gate was not going up all the way and asked for assistance. Service rep said more or less ???that will be $109 for us to diagnose it???. The whole approach turned us off as our other vehicle is an Audi, and that service team is always talking to us about the ins and outs of the features and how to use and maintain various things...in other words its always a conversation at the Audi dealership...not just people looking to charge us. Over time this approach has built amazing trust, loyalty, and desire to perform our service there because we know they know their product. So we said no thanks on the peoposal at Luther. For $100 we can google it and learn a ton.....and guess what...some random dealer salesman???s youtube was the first search result reviewing how to use and program the electronic rear gate on a 2015 suburban. Thats all it was...button was turned to 3/4. Luther needs to train their people on the basic features and maintenance of a complex $60,000 product instead of coming across as shallow and desperate for service tickets.
I am astounded with the Merit Service Department . Our Equinox is now 2 years old. This is our 2nd Equinox from Merit. I didn't think I would go back for Service but my Equinox says "let's go back to Merit for Service, I like it there!". After my last Service, I called Brock about a mistake made with an adding machine and he took care of it with no hesitation.
I started shopping for a new Silverado pickup equipped with the new High Desert package in mid April. After having had a less that positive experience shopping at my local Chevy dealer I ended up giving Merit Chevrolet a shot, and I'm very glad I did. From my initial visit when I first started to gather some information on choosing the right truck to taking delivery last week of our factory ordered truck I left impressed and completely satisfied after every visit. Jason Wolske, our salesman was outstanding in his efforts to help us. I had a lot of questions in purchasing a new truck and in addition to dealing with Jason I also dealt with Ron Hogan, Chad Dubois, and Shane Axel. Every one of them took the time to answer all of my questions and offered great advice in choosing the right truck for our needs. When it came time to finalize our deal Glen Orehorsky did a great job of helping us with the financing. We would highly recommend Merit Chevrolet to anyone who is shopping for a new Chevy. Chris Rinkel has put together an outstanding team of employees who really know how to treat their customers with respect and put your trust in.
Sent an email inquiring about a vehicle and got a response. Responded to dealers email asking about hours of the business to possibly schedule a test drive and received no response. Recommend calling or just stopping by to look at a vehicle.

I put in an order for a 2018 Toyota Highlander without AWD. It had all the other features I wanted, especially the color and trailer hitch. I thought I could live without AWD. After a few days I called back to cancel and get a refund of my deposit. The salesperson asked why and I told him the car did not have AWD and I decided not to buy because of that. He said ok and forwarded my call to the person who would refund my deposit. I got the refund in 3 days.
Very easy to purchase, the entire thing happened over email and the papers were signed via overnight FedEx. Less than 1 week later, the car was in my driveway. It does take longer than a traditional dealer, but you don't have to sit there for hours while the paperwork and financing takes place. The car came in immaculate condition, no paint chips, no scratches. Interior was perfectly detailed and cleaned. Good price, low mileage, clean history report.
