2024 BMW M240 review
I did careful reviews of this model as well as the 4 Series. I was really looking at the 2023 4 Series 2Dr Coupe. I decided to go with the 2024 M240I because ... 1. it's a two door. I liked what I was seeing with the professional/owner reviews for the 2023 model year. And 2. I bought this as the last new car I will buy and as a reward to myself for a life well lived and jobs well done. I got the Portimao Blue Metallic Cognac Interior. I didn't pay for the add-on's that dealers like to charge. I only paid for what I had too. Do your homework on this. Will save thousand if you do. Some emails, couple of phone calls and the deal was done. Now, down to my opinions of this car.... I didn't really think I would like the run flats ... but, not bad at all. Like any tire, depending on the road surface, they can either be loud or quite. For the most part, quite. Add to that the build quality of BMW and I have a quite riding car. When the door closes, it does it with a solid "this door is closed" sound. Only other thing I will add about the tires ... I will get a donut spare. Don't like not being without it, run flats not withstanding. The interior is very well done I think. Everything is right there for you to get to without having to stretch for it. The IDrive 8 is very easy to work once you get it sorted the way you want it. Seats are very comfortable. Heated seats warm up nicely in cold weather ... so does the steering wheel. Sound system is great. I really like the fact that BMW kept the control wheel for the IDrive 8 system and didn't go full on touch screen. Same with buttons on the steering wheel. Real buttons. Another thing that I thought I wouldn't like was the toggle for the gear selector. Not a issue at all. Given the small interior for the 2Dr Coupe, the toggle works out well. A stalk selector would have been like a black eye. Engine response when you put your foot on it is right there. I've not noticed any turbo lag at all. Maybe due to the M240I being a 6 and not a 4. Power is there when you need it. My MPG so far has been about 26.5 in town. Was over 30 mpg on the highway/interstate. Having to use premium is not a factor for me. Knew that going in before I bought the car. For the cost of this car, spend the money and use the premium grade. Visibility hasn't been an issue at all. The tech is great. Works very well and is easy to set up the way you want it. The back up sensors were at first a bit annoying, but I got used to them fairly quickly. Loving the heads up display. So far, I've got no complaints.

2024 Ford Mustang review
I just purchased the 2024 rapid red turbo. I love the mode change and it has that great sound as you pull away from others. Great take off and smooth ride. The only negative and it is very slight-- it that it is difficult to change the temp, and my Sirus does not have all features. This is my 4th mustang, with my first being the very small box shape. 2024 Ford Mustang review
Definitely a drivers car, very comfortable and easy to drive. I have the manual transmission and shifting is a breeze. I bought all the premium gadgets and interior along with the sports package. Plenty of power in this vehicle everywhere. Nice long gears so makes traffic with a manual tolerable. Only complete, its a big mustang. I have a 2011 and it is a slimer design. But plus side of case feel like you are in a NASCAR! Can't wait to hit the Kancamagus and spring into next summer.

They successfully located the necessary parts to address a lingering problem I had been experiencing with my classic Alfa Romeo (and expertly resolved the safety recall). Many thanks to the folks at Alfa USA and to the Boston Motorsports team in making this happen. I'm very happy this this experience introduced me to Seth and the folks at Boston Motorsports service. They gave my car a full checkup, in addition to a routine oil change and the recall repair. This included thoughtfully sending an email (including a video recording) with a thorough report of the health of the car. And although they provided me with a very helpful list of suggested items I might want to address in the future, I was never pressured to make these repairs at their shop. Of course I'll be back regardless, though - because this place is simply amazing. Their love for their work, extensive knowledge, enthusiasm for the cars they service, and deep respect for their customers is extremely evident. And though my particular car may have a bit of patina (at least compared to many of the beautiful vehicles in their showroom) I was treated like royalty by the staff. For example, when I inquired about the location of the nearest bus to get home, they immediately insisted on scheduling for a driver to give me a ride instead. In a world where bottom lines often eclipse customer service, these folks shine brightly with a uniquely impressive combination of honesty and excellence. Thanks so much, Boston Motorsports - you are an asset to the community and a friend to everyone who loves cars. Thanks again.
2021 Porsche 911 review
992 C2S. Best performance car I’ve ever drivin. Can’t think of any negatives. People complain about the price but 100,000 for a suv or loaded pickup is ok. Took years to finally acquire this car , happy it finally became a reality.

My 203,000 mile Hyundai Santa Fe blew a head gasket late Thursday. I got online and found a 2011 Rav4 with 58,000 that they were advertising at what I considered an excellent price. Called them from home at 9am and had a good talk with Philip(the CEO of the company). Got call back regarding the car in about 30 minutes later from Jordan. Limped my Santa Fe over to Walpole with my daughter and wife in a second vehicle. .just in case. Jordan met me in lot with the Rav4 running for a test drive and first thing he mentioned is that it needs a brake job that they will do. . .can leave car or come back with it early next week. Drove family alone in car to verify roadworthiness. Phillip stepped in and knocked another $500 off the already settled cash price while we were talking in their very small office space. They keep the space small to keep overhead prices down. I watched them interact with each other for about 45 minutes. They are basically Christian businessmen who are trying to make a living and give others a positive experience. I felt blessed by being there and drove off with a very nice Rav4 at a great price. All paperwork, including registration and new title in hand and they gave me a few hundred for the trashed Santa Fe(Fair). . . I drove to my insurance agent..paid my sales tax, then got it inspected. 6hrs and 45 minutes from first seeing the Rav to owning it and all paperwork done. I drove to my mechanic later that night. He checked out the car and kept saying I got a great deal and the Rav is in great shape for a 2011. My experience. Mark in Braintree, MA

I had the pleasure of purchasing a pre-owned classic Ferrari from the team at McLaren Boston, working primarily with Jonathan, Bob, and Corbin through the various phases of the deal. They are consummate professionals, and will go to great lengths to make a customer happy, as they did for me. Jonathan's assessment and description of the car over the phone and through email was accurate and honest, and the car presented better than expected upon seeing the car at their facility in person. Speaking with Corbin at length on their shop floor, it is evident that his expertise extends far beyond the realm of late model exotics, and is backed by contacts and experience with some of the finest classic and exotic names in the northeast. Negotiation on price and terms was a breath of fresh air. Very straight forward, and resolved within a matter of minutes without pretense to very fair terms, having been searching in the market for the past year with a more intensive focus the past six months. Jonathan also put forth the extra effort to locate and secure some invaluable original documents and historic records for the car, which was a most welcome surprise on the day that we closed the deal after a successful PPI. Bob made the deal easy, quick, handling all aspects proactively. To all of them, that I am thankful. I wish the McLaren Boston group much success in the coming years.

2020 Porsche 911 review
I used to own this C4S and it caused me freak out multiple times if I would take to the train station to get to work the battery wouldn’t work most of the times I got it replaced but it just wouldn’t work. Performance is great though. I wouldn’t daily it would though that’s why I switched the 2022 BMW M850i it’s luxurious it has decent power sound great stock an is very reliable and also looks pretty good. Overall get it if you have 2 or more cars don’t if this will be the only one.

2018 Ferrari 488 Spider review
After considering a change from the Cali T to the 488, I did it. Got a ‘17 488 Spider w 5k miles. Best move I’ve ever done. The 488 is a drivable super car that’s art work in motion. First let me say that I have purchased several vehicles over the past 50 years. I have found that negotiating an agreement with the management is always a nerve-racking hassle. My point is that I always do extensive research into every aspect before talking with a dealer so I am well prepared to "haggle" with the dealership to get my best deal possible. Because I am 6'8" tall and just don't fit into most cars made today, I have been purchasing full size conversion vans for the past 30 years. Unfortunately, conversion vans are almost impossible to find in New England. To make matters worse, unbeknownst to me, they stopped making the style of van that suits my needs in 2014. I now was forced to search for that nearly impossible to find used conversion van in great condition with low mileage. After months of looking, I finally saw a van on the internet at a Ferrari dealership in Massachusetts that looked interesting and just had a price drop. My wife and I decided to take the 45 minute drive to the dealership to see the van. I searched for a "friendly looking" sales person and asked if he could help me. Fortunately, Esmael Rodrigues was the person who took the van in trade and knew all the details. I explained my situation and he took my wife and me to see the van. We liked the van and went back to Esmael's office to discuss what each of us needed to make a deal happen. I asked that the sales manager be in on our negotiations from the start. While we waited for the sales manager we had a friendly conversation about our travel experiences. Somehow the traditional adversarial car buyer versus dealer conflict disappeared and it was friends talking about their past experiences. Somehow, whatever charisma we had going on increased when Chris Lozanski, the sales manager walked in. We didn't talk about the van; we talked about our interests and life experiences for quite a while. When we got back to talking about the van it was almost like we were old friends that had a shared problem that we both wanted to solve for our mutual benefit. Being a Ferrari dealership, they specialized in selling expensive, high end 2-door sports cars to a certain type of customer. Unfortunately, Chris acquired an 18' long "fancy passenger van" (that could probably fit one of his Ferrari's inside the van) as a trade in deal. The 4 year old van with 8 doors and a bed inside had been sitting on the lot for months and was not the type of vehicle Chris usually sold. Chris knew he needed to move the van that didn't fit into his normal inventory range. There was no haggling, no high pressure to buy this product or pay extra for some other service. Just friends helping each other solve a problem. We signed the papers and I gave them a certified check. Unfortunately the actual delivery of the van was a little more complicated because of differing state laws, the Christmas - New Years Holidays, and unforeseen mechanical problems. As part of the "dealer prep," they discovered a few problems that were fixed under the manufacturer?s warranty. In addition, they also replaced 4 tires and a wheel rim because they did not meet the Ferrari dealership?s exceptionally high standards for customer satisfaction. Our salesperson, Esmael Rodrigues, has to be the nicest and most considerate person we have ever done business with. We talked on the phone often (sometimes three times a day) as he explained a problem and how they were going to make sure that it was going to be resolved to their high customer satisfaction standards. Instead of sending a "runner" to perform the ordinary mundane tasks, Esmael personally drove the van everywhere to get whatever procedure needed to be accomplished. In fact, I was so impressed with Esmael that I actually designed and handmade a special gift because of his commitment to total customer satisfaction. Al Warwick, RI

2016 BMW 428 review
Car drives well. I recommend driving it in Sport mode. The Eco feature and start and stop will wear out the starter. Also, the braking is hard on this car. You cannot ease into a stop. It is like it does not want to stop and you have to press the pedal harder than normal.

What criteria do you have in shopping your next used vehicle? 1. You want to buy a used car that is believed to be absolutely trouble free (Equivalent to a certified grade). 2. You are ok to buy a car at a fair market price (You are not trying to find a steal deal or to negotiate a price). 3. You hate sales pitch. Then go to Carmax. This is my best advice based on my past car buying experiences with all sorts of car dealers. You can't go wrong with Carmax if the above three are your criteria. Carmax set an extremely high standard in their car reconditioning protocols. Carmax certification is as good as manufacturer's certifications. Meanwhile, you will be discouraged if you come to Carmax in hope to find a steal deal, because all of their cars are priced RIGHT, and they never give you a room to negotiate over the price. This means that they don't play games, and they don't let you play games, either. They are fair. You have to be fair, too. A good news is, they don't try to steal your money. So don't try to steal theirs. However, I have one serious advice: Get pre-approved by a local credit union before coming to Carmax. While Carmax too does offer financing, their repayment rule has a catch. Say your monthly payment was set to $100. If you put $500 at once, you expect that the extra $400 would automatically go to principal payment, right? Not with Carmax financing. Instead, the first $300 goes to the three upcoming monthly payments, and only the remaining $200 will go to principal payment. If you intend to pay off your auto loan quick, this repayment rule that they set up is a deal breaker. A good thing is, they will gladly let you use your credit union financing; they won't pressure you into choosing their financing service. Good luck, and never go back to liars that live in the rest of the world.
2021 BMW Z4 review
This is my first BMW product, and I am very happy with it. I was somewhat skeptical about choosing the turbo 4-cylinder engine, but I am now glad I did. Unless you plan to race it, the turbo 4 has all the power one needs for street use, and as a side benefit it get amazing mpg. The turbo 4 car is well over 150 lbs. lighter than the turbo 6 cylinder equipped model, and this allows the car to have a 50/50 weight balance; therefore, it feels like a mid-engine car. I have owned many sports cars, and some with very high HP, but that power is almost never usable on the street. My car has all the BMW handling options, so overall, I have to rate it as one of, or even the, most enjoyable sports car I have ever owned.

2022 BMW Z4 review
This car is really fun. Very nimble and quick. Purists will argue it's not a "real M car," and that's true. But it has more performance than I will ever need. Unless you are getting out on a track or you can drive on completely empty highways with no danger from the police, this car has more than enough. It is just shy of 400 HP. How much do you really need? Mine is the M40i configuration. One of the things that attracted me to this car was the appearance. I was looking at a used M4, but I could not get over the appearance of the front. Ugly as homemade sin. That left me looking at the last version of the M4, and there just are not that many around with lower mileage. But this car is beautiful. From every angle, it is just a stunning car. You can mark that as unimportant, but I look at the car every time I drive it, and I want a car that is visually pleasing. The current 4 series is downright ugly when looking at them from the front. My one gripe is the technology – too darned much! It becomes unwieldy. The settings are infinitely variable and the same thing can be done in many different ways, which makes it all the more confusing. Despite all of this superfluous technology, the one thing they did not add was a setting where the display panel would appear as a traditional dashboard with 2 main dials. It seems that that would have been simple given the amount of technology they built into this car. That is the primary reason for the 4 star rating. Another reason for 4 stars on comfort is the seatbelt. The seatbelt does not have that little xxxxxxx feature which enables you to click it into place so that it is not constantly pulling. As a result, it bites into my collarbone just a little bit. A first world problem, I know. I bought one of those plastic clips that prevents it from retracting the full way, and I use that from time to time. These are minor complaints. This is a really great car. It is not my daily driver, so when the weekend gets here, I am bending over backwards to think about places where I "need" to go. It is often too hot here in Central Florida to ride with the top down during the day, but dropping the top at night even during July and August will be great. This is just a great car and I am enjoying every minute behind the wheel.
