2011 Ford Edge review
I have owned my 2011 Ford Edge for 8 years now! This car was my first and only car from 15 to now the prime age of 23. Since owning the car it’s had a few issues brake booster (recall replaced) and the nav system the black screen of death with a few minor things over the years. What I can still not get over are the features the 2011 limited package had, this car was ahead of it’s time, back up cam, rear radar, full pano sun roof, remote start keys, ambient lighting through the entire cab and much more. Don’t get me wrong this car has had its down moments but they are minuscule compared to the value I’ve gotten out of it. Also I’m not sure if this is an all Edge thing from that time period but they are ALL over the road even the 2010’s This car is great for anyone that want a great size that can fit almost anything but still go anywhere and mechanically it has been nothing but perfect. The Microsoft sync system lacks to be honest I had to replace my entire dash screen because one day it just glitched and went to black, after salvaging one out of a wrecked edge I was plug n play back in business. Overall : this car good

2016 Ford Edge review
The 2.7L Ecoboost engine in the Sport model is phenomenal. Powerful, smooth and reliable. I love the adaptive cruise control, air-conditioned front seats, panoramic sunroof, and power lift gate but its the engine that makes this stand out from the competition. I own 2 of these Sport models now.

2015 Ford Edge review
I bought my Edge when it was three years old and had less than 20k miles. I saved almost 20k from a new titanium models. The rear trunk light casing has a water leak that needs fixing but otherwise I have had zero issues w it. Power seat w Lumbar support makes a huge difference on long drives.

2013 Ford Edge review
I have had minimal problems after my 5yr extended warranty paid for itself. The only downside of this vehicle is the avg 18mph and its navigation which changes the radio when I try to change it. Also it interimentiltly has issues with trying to put an address in it as well.

Used sales was great. Very professional and upfront. Good experience. Finance (additional sales) was a bit extreme, typical of every dealership whether I buy new or used. I realize its part of the dealership’s job, but kinda annoying. Also, pulled 7 credit checks! Disappointing. Instead of making me wait in the waiting area and searching 7 different banks/credit unions they could have come out and asked me. I would have got the loan from my credit union without the hits on my report. In total, typical process at any dealer. Just way too many credit pulls.
2017 Ford Edge review
We purchased our 2017 Edge used from our favorite Ford salesman and dealership. This was after having leased several new Ford Edges over the years. We elected to purchase a used Edge due to our outstanding experiences with them. We’re retired and drive very little these days so we couldn’t see a need for another brand new leased car that sits 95% of the time. We’ve had our 2017 V-6 for just over two years and it’s just over 87,000 miles. The car looks great, runs great and we plan on keeping it for the foreseeable future.

2017 Ford Edge review
I purchased this vehicle used, with rust issues. And made the dealership paint the under belly. I did have to get a brand new motor due to some issue but it was under warrantee so no cost to me. Other than that I haven't had any major issues with the vehicle and I have owned it for 5 years now and love it! I'm not sure why they stopped making this vehicle it's so much better than the escape

2018 Ford Edge review
I have the Sport Edge model with 2.7 twin turbo. I love it! Do your research. With any turbo you must use premium gas, full synthetic oil and let your car cool down after short rides for at least a minute or 3 - 5 minutes if you drive more that 3 hours. The turbo engine runs hot and cooling down lets the oil drain for the turbo. If you don't the engine could overheat. Look it up for yourself.

2018 Ford Edge review
Such a nice car. A.C. and heated seats,great climate control,great seats with adjustable lumbar support, sky roof, a big get up and go boost, fabulous indoor and outdoor lighting, non cheap leather seats and the dash computer is very doable for me ( being such a Luddite!)!Just absolutely a happy gal having picked this titanium Edge! Will love it until the wheels fall off.

2017 Ford Edge review
Gelreat car for the most part. I got it used with 125k miles. So far so good knock on wood on engine coolant leak issues. But the only downside and i've never had major bad luck with ford. Except on those junky focus transmissions 2012 to 2018. Well I got 170k miles on it and my flex plate is bad or cracked. My understanding is the issue is cause by torque converter weld stud bolts not welded properly from factory. I have been confirmed by my mechanic that it is flex plate rattle. Whats crazy is there is a csp on it for that same flex plate rattle but im over the 120k mile mark. But other ford edges with my same 2.0 engine on the 2017 year model have a recall for torque converter welds and recalls are unlimited mileage. I think thats what caused my flex plate issue. I understand normal wear and tear but 170k mile when i have taken care of it, that dont seem fair.

I bought 2015 used and am impressed with my edge. I had an explorer before the edge that was totaled in a crash. The explorer was a very safe vehicle to be in when unfortunately totaled and with the edge being the little sister I feel safe and secure almost. Just uneasy because of recalls.

2008 Ford Edge review
I bought my 08 ford edge sel used. I did tune up first week of ownership and regular maintenence as scheduled. Always reliable and comfortable. Only complaint is back interior. The light in the trunk was always covered as I always had stuff in trunk and back window did not open separate from trunk door like other suvs. Unfortunately after 7 years and 100000 miles plus from me I became unconscious while driving and destroyed her. She saved me though. Impressive safety in crash. Definitely would buy again

2011 Ford Edge review
I love my 2011 Ford Edge. I have over 250,000 miles . I drove from Beaufort SC to Ashland Ky every two wks due to my mothers illness. I have to say . I was never the least bit insecure with this trip while traveling. When I purchased my car it had 86,000 miles . I hope to purchase another in the near future. but , as for now mine is paid for . Still in fair condition. I was just checking on recalls because my car recently is coding system is shutting down.Such has my phone thru blue tooth due to low battery . But I had it checked because I had replaced battery . I thought possibly it may have been a default on it. It wasn’t .

Super employee of the year is "Carl" I wanted an oil change before I went on a trip and I always come to your dealership to get it but I couldn't get an appointment as fast as I wanted. Went to two oil shops and they said I need it full synthetic oil. So I called the man that knows all Carl and he told me that I needed a synthetic blend for my F-150. I got my oil and filter from him also battery wiper blades even changed the batteries in my key fobs. He then said his wife is getting a new F150 truck. Now I'm thinking I want a new truck just got a convince my wife! I have 2016 f150 with 80,000 miles on it. I'll probably call Carl to see how can I convince my wife! Lol! 2019 Ford Edge review
We have a 2013 Edge SEL AWD which replaced my wife’s older Explorer which she drive for many years and the Edge has been a real pleasure to drive. I had two successive Expeditions for business which I drove for around half a million miles. So, in late 2022, when we decided to sell the Expy and downsize, we decided to “upgrade” my wife’s Edge and I would keep the 2013. We searched for a good price on a 2019 Titanium and enlisted the help of a sales rep at Crossroads Ford in Cary, NC who had found the 2013 model for us. He found a 2019 Edge ST in Performance Blue with reasonable mileage and not even a scratch!! The interior was immaculate and the panoramic moon roof was the clincher. As an “outside sales rep” for 45 years, I have driven two million miles. During that time, we have owned Volvos, a Saab, Chevrolets, a Chrysler Concorde, a Pontiac, and a bunch of Fords. This ST is the best vehicle we have ever owned!!! Zero to 60 in five, great handling, quiet ride, and 29.7 average on the road at interstate speeds!!! I cannot say too much in favor of this car. 2011 Ford Edge review
The driver's side door latch is a known faulty unit and as it controls the auto locking mechanism is a safety issue. You are forced to drive your vehicle with the doors unlocked because the car does not akknowledg the door is fully closed. Leaving the the entire car unlocked while driving through areas where doors locked is a must for the safety of the occupants and driver. (You are vulnerable driving around with your doors unlocked!!!!!)

Also I’m not sure if this is an all Edge thing from that time period but they are ALL over the road even the 2010’s This car is great for anyone that want a great size that can fit almost anything but still go anywhere and mechanically it has been nothing but perfect. The Microsoft sync system lacks to be honest I had to replace my entire dash screen because one day it just glitched and went to black, after salvaging one out of a wrecked edge I was plug n play back in business. 2017 Ford Edge review
If you plan on buying a ford edge from 2017, or anywhere between 2015-18, I implore you to make sure that you buy a used one. Why, because if it has over 100k miles on it, there's a good chance it had a good gen 1 engine in it or already had the cracked gen 1 engine in it replaced with a new gen 2 engine in it that won't crack anytime soon. This is a known problem with the ford edges and other models that come with that specific first generation model inline 4-cylinder between the 80k-100k miles marker, Ford knows about it and a recall should be issued but they won't be doing that anytime soon. So, if you by a ford edge with under 60k miles on it like I did, immediately purchase the 50k miles powertrain warranty at designated ford dealer, and if the car is a CPO get the 100k miles warranty no matter what the miles on it currently are, you no idea if the engine you got is going to crack, so make sure you get the warranty plan that will cover replacing the engine and anything else that goes wrong with the needed number of miles to cover the 80k-100k miles marker; my edge almost made it to 100k miles before it cracked. And because the new engine put so much back pressure on the old transmission, the engine killed the transmission, so I got that replaced too! $205 deductible later, and I essentially got an entire new car, I'll drive the thing till the wheels fall off at this point.

2013 Ford Edge review
We had our 2013 Ford edge for many years had zero problems with it until a stupid driver parked next to my husband and totaled the car. He wasn’t even in the car but until then it never gave us any trouble. We decided we would buy another ford edge which is a 2018 and beautiful. Hopefully we’ll have the same luck with this one.

Although I purchased my Edge used in 2019, it has given me one issue, but Good news! When I took my car to Ford’s dealership to repair, I learnt it was covered completely due to a recalled. The only thing they didn’t do was a “complimentary car wash, that I’m used to having. Nevertheless, the service was taken care of in a timely manner. In spite of one worst winter storm in the South.

2015 Ford Edge review
I bought my 2015 Ford Edge used, from a great Idaho dealership! I drive for a living, so it definitely needs to be reliable, and it has to have power to climb the 7% grade that's over 6 miles long, just to leave town. I think for the price the quality is exceptional! The comfort and safety I feel behind the wheel is great! I would expect no less from a Ford.. and it has kept me smiling!

2017 Ford Edge review
We own this vehicle , it currently has 70,000 kms . We have had zero issues with it . The only fault of ford is that you have to pay to have new gps software installed and it won’t update automatically with wifi . The neighbourhood we live in is brand new so we needed to connect our phones to find anything when we moved here in 2019 .

2011 Ford Edge review
2nd owner car has 243k mi. on it, mostly highway. Change oil every 5k mi. no oil leaks, no major issues. I replace two sensors approx. $250 ea. time. At 100k mi. I did a tune up and transmission flush. Other than that, regular oil changes and new tires, etc. Vehicle passed emmissions and runs great. I would take it on a trip tomorrow without a problem.

2012 Ford Edge review
I have a 2012 Ford edge sport with 228,506 miles on it. Still driving strong. I love it. It has the 3.7 L V6 in it. It moves fast. I feel safe like it’s all around an amazing SUV it’s been one of my favorite vehicle so far I can’t believe that Ford is Discontinuing The Ford edge. I think it’s stupid but that’s just my opinion

2013 Ford Edge review
Bought my 2013 edge limited in 2014 new. Have replaced the catilitic converter but no problems at all. Has 106k miles. Everything works perfectly. Thought about getting a new car but it runs so well. Get 21 mph average. Put Lucas gas treatment in both of my Fords and all well and good. Have 3.5 liter. It’s very fast when needed.
