Quiet, comfortable and powerful car. I have the twin turbo that puts out 400 hp. General gas mileage is 19-20 city and 24-25 highway. The only thing that I would change on this vehicle is that I would like to be able to turn off some of the automatic operations on a semi-permanent basis.

This is the first explorer that I have owned in nearly 30 years. I am coming from a ram 1500. I am surprised how comfortable this explorer is I’m really enjoying the gas mileage between 21 to 23 in town. I have not taken a trip on the highway yet.

This Service Department saved my sanity. I had an issue on a new Ford Focus that no other service department in area could even locate, tried 2 other service departments including original dealer car was purchased from. They found it and fixed it in 2 days.

I have a 2013 Ram pickup that I bought new with a Max Care warranty and recently the engine light came on, not blinking,, I took it into Pettus Ram and dealt with Josie who is great. After replacing thermostat my light came back on after a few miles of driving. I took it back in and they were so fantastic and understanding. They wanted my truck for a few more days and my extended warranty covered the cost of a loaner car which they provided me with a Dodge Hornet, nice little car to drive, anyways Josie and Melissa were so caring , kept me informed and after driving it for a week my truck is running smoothly and no engine light is on. Just wanted to share my experience with everyone that worked on my truck including the mechanic, don’t know his name, but they all were so great and made it such a good experience. My truck is old but I love driving it and am so glad I had the extended warranty which saved me thousands of dollars and the dealership with its cooperation made it a pleasant experience.
