Found the 2012 Toyota Highlander on a Cars.com search. Contacted the dealer and was responded to immediately. Arrived at the dealership and was met immediately and shown the car which was as described. It was immaculate and dealer had mounted new tires and new brakes. Jesse completed the sales process in an efficient and thorough manner, making sure our questions were addressed. The finance dept. arranged the financing rapidly through our credit union online. The whole process took about 3 hours including test drive. So far I am very pleased with the vehicle and very pleased with the treatment we received at Scanlon Acura.
Bought used for a winter driver

We bought this car used with 128K miles on it to use as a winter driver. I wanted a V8 engine due to reliability concerns with the V6. The car is very clean, and drives as it should. Fuel economy is worse then expected, at 14 MPG combined driving. The 4.6 3 valve engine produces more then ample power (291 HP) for this car. I'm used to a Mustang GT Premium with 475 HP, and am not disappointed with the Explorer. These engines are prone to valve train noise at idle, and this one is no exception. As for the vehicle, quality is good where it counts, such as the structure of the vehicle. Trim quality is poor in places. Handling is very good for an SUV. The 4x4 would have benefited from a limited slip rear differential.
Our salesman was Wayne Clarke, and I have to say it was the best experience I have ever had. He was very personable and knowledgeable. He was never pushy and was very accommodating. Overall all lt was a great car buying experience.
Ford Expedition to Ford Explorer

The ride is smooth and quiet. Easy to work with the technology. Extremely comfortable. I own a 99 Expedition, 08 F150, and now a 13 Explorer. Everyone I own has been good to me. Extremely reliable. And great for everything I do.
I usually despise the entire process of buying a car! The day before we went to Toyota & the salesman drove us crazy with his non stop persistence. Even when we stated they didn't have what we were looking for, he kept getting us to wait and wait and wait! Finally, exasperated my husband left while I hid in the car because I knew it was going to be a hard sell. I'd rather lose a toe than buy a car like that! The next day we went to Galloway Direct. Rich Festa, the salesman was as pleasant as he could be. No hard sell, no harassing, no long horrible wait. Also, the closing agent was extremely nice. The overall experience was a nice surprise! We felt like we got a good fair deal and got a great used 2011 Ford Edge with low miles! It was pristine. We got an extended warranty and free oil changes for 2 years! The facility was pleasant with some great antique Fords inside. I would absolutely recommend them for a great experience!

Great interior comfort- was looking for a vehicle that for a man ^'^" and a woman 5' The accomodations are perfect for both of us!.
Good power available when needed. Pretty paint - looks black, but is midnight green.
Has just enough ammenties- we're not fond of all the "bells and whistles" Couldn't be happier.
The best ever dealer ship in southwest florida. Treat me very well when others did not. Any one needing a vehicle should visit Tony, or Joe.

I leased the 2013 Explorer Sport. It looked great. It had the 3.5L Ecoboost. Never had a problem with the engine. The rotors however would warp consistently. I had alot of overstear. I brought the vehicle back at lease end with under 28K miles. The front seats looked like they were 10 years old. Just worn down. at 6 months before lease end the drivers side door panel had a 2 inch crack in the seam exposing the foam underneath. The dealer pushed it off and didnt want to repair it. Its a good thing I leased it. Never again...
It was nice to get beyond the dickering that one is always subjected to from car salespeople. Buying from the comfort of home was nice.

Very comfortable, good performance, nice amenities. Having had the previous version of Sync, the Sync 3 on this model is MILES ahead in user-friendliness and options. The vehicle is very quiet on the highway and excellent on road trips. Very happy with the purchase!
Vroom rushed me thru the process of purchasing a vehicle from them. Had strict requirements of receiving payment within 48 hours. I was rushing my loan department to get my paperwork completed ahead of other customers in fear of losing the vehicle I wanted to another buyer. The loan paperwork and a check had to be overnighted to Vroom to meet their qualifications. THEN CAME TIME FOR THEM TO GET THE THINGS I NEEDED TO ME!!! I HAD TO REPEATEDLY ASK ABOUT THE ARRIVAL OF MY TRADE IN TO THEIR FACILITY (which they kept telling me for 15 days that it hadn???t reached their facility??!! Yeah right)!! THEY DRUG THEIR FEET ON SENDING THE PAYOFF OF MY TRADE IN SO LONG THAT THE 15 Day PAYOFF THEY WERE QUOTED EXPIRED AND I HAD TO PAY THE DIFFERENCE FROM MY OWN ACCOUNT!! I WAITED 26 DAYS TO RECEIVE TITLE PAPERWORK!! BUT THE PAPERWORK THEY NEEDED FROM ME HAD TO BE SENT WITHIN 2 BUSINESS DAYS!! YOU SHOULD GIVE AS GOOD AS YOU EXPECT, VROOM!! I HAD TO KEEP REQUESTING A REFUND OF THE $500 THEY CHARGED TO MY CREDIT CARD TO HOLD THE VEHICLE FOR A WEEK!!! LASTLY, the 2nd person I dealt with following the sales person was RUDE.

We love our car so far. Great room for me, my wife and kids. Plenty of room to hold all of our sports stuff as well. Great handling and the gas mileage is real good for the size vehicle.
We were greeted by Edens at the front door and he welcomed us to sit down and discuss what we wanted. He was very attentive and helped us select the right model for us. He had us test drive the car and explained the interior workings. He answered any questions we had. He was very knowledgeable about the car and we felt very relaxed . We had been to several other dealers but Edens was the best salesman that we had we encountered. The whole process was exceptional.
Have truly enjoyed driving this SUV.

Pleasant young man. When I go shopping for cars I hate high pressure sales pitch people. I was pleasantly surprised that there was no pressure but lots of helpful information. He has called to follow up and still no pressure, but wanted me to remember his name so I wrote it down. I'm not ready to buy now however I'm impressed by his courteous demeanor. I will definitely be back when I'm 100% ready to buy a car. In a way I feel bad I'm not ready to buy the car so I wanted to at least leave a good review, I know most of the time the only reviews are the negative ones and I try to make it a point when I receive good service to point it out and let management know a good impression was made. The sport trim which is what I have has a lot of get up and go. A lot of space it's easy to transport items as well as to switch between cargo space and 3rd row seats. Red noises a minimum handles well and curves thoroughly enjoy driving the vehicle
This company bends over backwards to accommodate their customers. Every time I see one of their commercials on tv I get a good feeling becuse of my experience.

Love the look, size, and performance. Hate Ford reliability and quality control. Here are a few of the problems we have had: Transmission went out at 5k miles, PTU (transfer case) literally blew up st 22k, radiator fans relaced at 15k, 2 set of xxx Hankook tires thst Ford insisted there was nothing wrong with them, then issued a TSB admitting there were problems with them, headlights developed stress crack, A/C vent broke st 20k, nattery went out in 2 years, sest upholstery clips constantly come undone, and a carbon monoxide recall.
The experience was good got a new truck, wasnt able to trade in my suv
But sales people are nice and positive and exciting, now well see how services are done
We'll never buy a Ford again.

$50,000 custom vehicle. Check engine lights turn on the the DAY it turns 60k miles, conveniently also the day the factory warranty is up. Beautiful vehicle inside and out but loud as xxxx to drive. Remote start works when it wants to. We traded off our Chevy Traverse with 280k miles on this pile of xxxx. Guaranteed that vehicle is still on the road. Never buy another Ford product EVER.
The company I worked for provided these as company cars. After I left that company I bought one myself because they were such good, comfortable, functional, and reliable cars! Highly recommend them!
