2014 Jeep Grand Cherokee review

2012 FIAT 500 review
Fiat didn't market the 500 correctly. I had a 500 Sport manual that I bought new. It is amazingly fun to drive, incredibly fuel efficient (37+ mpg at a minimum) and a ton of room when you fold the seats down. I went from a Porsche 911 turbo as my daily driver to the cinquecento (500 in Italian). The Fiat was more fun to drive basically because you could floor it everywhere and when I'd look at the speedometer I'd be going 52 mph! In the Porsche I'd be going 130. I drove it multiple times over a thousand miles in a day. Seats were comfortable, sat radio, and Beats sound system rocked. I sold it and bought an i3. Never had a problem with the Fiat. Inexpensive to maintain and the Fiat dealer was great for service. Fun to drive, utilitarian, and great gas mileage. I wish I still had it. If I had a giant garage, I would have kept it.

2013 Land Rover Range Rover Sport review
I Had 2 of these beauties. Worked for Ford/Uniparts part picker Teamster. Took me a few months just to figure out all the little luxuries. One of the coolest WHIPS I ever leased. Nice exterior body lines. Ultra perfect jinterior, stereo system, heated seats, auto wiper blades. Truly seats 7 comfortably. I only deducted 1 star cuz they tend to be high riders. Very sensitive steering, have to get used to driving this type of truck. Almost rolled it on the highway changing lanes. My Doberman put his paw on my husband's shoulder as if to say, "you alrite, slow down" lolz.

2015 Chevrolet Malibu review
This car continues to serve me well. Always been a comfortable ride. People will always remark in it the first time they get in. Interior is very comfortable though you’d like a little more leg and elbow room given the mid-size frame. Trim is somewhat cheap: chrome peels off door latches, leatherette cracks, the plastic housing for the seat controls is cracked and hanging off on both sides. Does not impact function. Good luck getting up to those EPA fuel economy numbers (you can’t). The Bose system in the upgraded trims is awesome. Only engine issues I have dealt with are the oil sending unit solenoids. That brings me to the EcoTEC 2.5L. Get into some mechanic or recall/lawsuit forums for the full details, but there is a oil consumption issue that kicks in between 60-80k miles. You will need a quart of the spec’d 0w20 dexos oil every 500-1000 miles depending on variables. I keep oil in my trunk and check every tank fill. Seriously. While this hasn’t impacted my daily drive at all, there is a feeling of driving a ticking time bomb should the oil PCV ever fail completely. Recently started using dexos 5w30 to combat this issue, but for long enough to give any definitive review. It does “feel” like the engine moves with less friction, but who knows. Overall, no complaints with the value I’ve gotten for over a decade. It has survived ND better than most. Would upgrade to the Impala with V6 if I did it all over again.

2013 BMW 750 review
My 1st 7 series, I gotta be honest though… “ I didn’t want it at 1st”. It wasn’t my 1st choice on the lot, I was going after the Porsche Panamera”. However, that car was an absolute failure on the transmission, the dealer did take it back & I got in the 2013 740i. Great choice. I love the comfort after a long day at work, it’s actually great on gas, I love the fact you can go in the settings and change the drive mode into a BEAST! An ABSOLUTE HEAD TURNER! 2018 Hyundai TUCSON review
Let me add to the engine problems. Overall I really like this vehicle. We have taken many trips and enjoy the feel on the road. Maintenance has not been a major issue until recently. It started using oil on a regular basis. About a quart every two to three weeks. At around 92k miles it is now in the shop waiting to see if Hyundai will honor their warranty. It needs a new engine. It runs ok now, for a sewing machine. Hopefully Hyundai will honor their warranty and I can get another 90k miles out of the vehicle.

2015 Dodge Journey review
Now, I did just purchase this car, just a couple of months ago, and even though it's an older car, it only had 55,000 miles when I bought it, and I purchased a 5-star warranty as well. First, I'm probably being a bit bias, b/c I'm a Dodge fan, due the Nitro I had previously. But so far, the other reviews I've read are pretty much spot-on. Mine has the 2.4L 4-cylinder. It's not as good on the gas mileage as other 4 cylinders, from the Reviews I had already read, b/c the Journey is heavy, but for me, it's also less to fill up than the 3.6L, 6 cylinder Nitro I owned previously. I also wouldn't take it on any sharp turns either. As other reviews had said, the engine does make some noise, but it's not that big of a deal to me. However, unlike the other reviews I had read, I have plenty of space as a driver, it's not as compacted as I thought it would be, but the cargo space has plenty of room, just like I've read. The infotainment system is really good too, just like the reviews I'd read had stated. I have SIRIUS, don't know how, I'm not paying for it, but if it's a feature with this car, fantastic, BB King's Bluesville station is on constant play, as other stations are too. It doesn't have the vehicle backing system nor an AUX connector that most cars now have, but it's a 2015, and the Journey wasn't Dodge's most elite model either. However, so far, I'm growing into this car, and glad I purchased it. I'll probably get the Hornet next. Ha.

2015 Jeep Grand Cherokee review
I was a Jeep Grand Cherokee for about 10 years.It was not a two thousand fifteen , it was older and it was a V8, not this V6 or those I4 4 cylinders. I actually got the vehicle from my brother, same color black leather interior sunroof I took over his payments and ended up paying it off. That was the strongest 4 wheel drive I'd ever owned, let alone driven up to that point that car was a Beast. I never got stuck one time in the snow here in Iowa.. The only thing I've noticed that has changed over the years is the emphasis on eliminating the V8 engine, which is totally wrong. Because I want something with power, those 4 cylinder SUVs, they ought to fire every single one of them engineers who decided to put a 4 cylinder engine in a heavy vehicle like that, and naturally, it's gonna burn oil, a 4 cylinder S. U. V. Is about like dancing with your sister. It screams, it wants to be like its Big Brother, the v6, and v8. I'm just glad we're not hearing more about these electric vehicles cause that was the biggest joke I've ever heard of they never have enough batteries to service them. If the industry went all electric bad, a joke, there'd be a lot of stranded vehicles on the interstates bring back the VA engine, take the crossover. I4. After recently having a terrible car-buying experience where I was taken advantage of and ended up with a lemon, I was extremely cautious about trusting another dealership. As a single woman shopping for a car, it can feel overwhelming trying to determine who is being honest and who truly has your best interests in mind. When I found the vehicle I really wanted, I hesitated because the dealership?Arlington Nissan in Illinois?was out of state. I spent nearly two months continuing to search for other options, but nothing compared. Eventually I decided to take the chance and make the trip to see the car in person. From the moment I arrived, the experience was reassuring. Alex Reiss, the salesperson who helped me, was professional, respectful, and refreshingly straightforward. Even though he?s a younger guy, he handled the entire process with confidence and integrity. He listened to my concerns about my past experience and made it clear that this time things would be handled differently. Alex answered all of my questions, provided the reports I requested, and explained the 6-month Certified Select warranty, which helped give me peace of mind. Because of how transparent and helpful he was, I felt comfortable enough to move forward and purchase the car that same day. The experience in the finance office was just as positive. Dominic walked me through the paperwork carefully and made sure everything was clearly explained. I really appreciated that he didn?t pressure me into unnecessary add-ons or try to slip in extra warranties or fees. The process was honest and straightforward. Before taking the car home, the dealership also addressed a few service items I wanted looked at and completed a full detail. Kiah in the service department kept me informed about what was being done and when the vehicle would be ready. When I returned to pick it up, the car looked fantastic?honestly like it had just come off the showroom floor. The service team clearly took the time to make sure everything was done right. 2018 Cadillac XT5 review
Previously I had a GM Blazer that was the worst car I’ve ever hard. So I was afraid to buy another GM car. But this 2018 XT5 should be on some kind of special 10 out of 10 list. I found this car on a Cadillac dealer’s lot with only 700 miles on it. I guess I got lucky because in 8 years I had a small AC issue and nothing else! It handles incredibly and never seems to have any issues! I can only hope it continues for another 8 years. It is great!

2018 Cadillac XT5 review
We own two XT 5’s 2017 AWD and 2018 FWD. I can not recommend these vehicles more highly. Eight years with the 2017 and no major issues at all. Regular oil changes and have been diligent with manufacturing recommended services. The vehicle is comfortable, reliable and I am keeping it to the end. 78,500 miles by the way. The 2018 is 6 months old with me. I purchased it with 18,000 miles. Just finished having all fluids flushed, plugs changed out and some high quality tires on it, and look for to owning it for the long haul. I am very impressed with these vehicles. They feel solid in inclimate weather, handle exceptionally well and the fit and feel are top notch!

2018 Audi Q5 review

2019 Mitsubishi Outlander Sport review
I bought this used with 33k miles on it, after 10k miles of driving and almost 1 year of use, I must say this vehicle is one of the most reliable vehicles out of the others I ever owned! I got one of the rare ones with a 5 speed manual and it is fun to drive with that trans. The only investment I see coming is a new battery ,that is it!

2013 Ford Explorer review
10 years since we bought this vehicle used. It has been awesome, over 110K on the clock; minor problems only. Biggest problems are with brake corrosion caused by very salty roads here. undercarriage corrosion is starting to take its toll. But the vehicle is still good enough we are hesitating to upgrade. Some minor, weird but occasional , electric glitches, mostly self locking. But then, the lack of electronics relative to newer models is a big plus to us. We have now owned this vehicle longer than any other we have ever had. interior issues are with the glove box hinge (plastic and breaks if you are not careful), and elbow rests cracking.

2017 Volkswagen CC review
The CC does all the basics really well and with a dash of sportiness and style. I've had my 2015 CC-R 2.0 6MT for five years and it's been as reliable as a wood stove. Exterior styling won't age. Interior is Germanic with form following function -- nothing fancy. Engine is torquey and responsive. Ride is smooth and compliant. It soaks up bumps without feeling cushy or isolating the driver from the road. Handling is sharp and precise. Highway mileage is in the high 30s. It doesn't proclaim status, but if you're into artful subtlety it's a satisfying drive and ownership experience.

2012 Volkswagen CC review
I bought a CC for the unique styling and classy look. Being one of the last VW models to still be made in Germany, the difference is very noticeable. People compare this to a Passat but there is really no comparison. Fit and finish and quality is almost to Audi quality. Highly recommend!
